Just a quick update. I have a choice between this post office and one in Orange on Tustin. Unless my travel takes me past the one on Tustin, I always pick this one. It's just easier to get in out and off. The only thing to watch for is the parking lot isn't very big and can often get full on busy days. This means the people are backing up without looking, sitting at the entrance waiting for cars to leave, which means cars trying to get in could be stuck on the street, and then people are walking into, or out of, the post office looking down at their phone, or whatever and not paying attention. Therefore, you have to be very careful. Unfortunately, this is also true for the post office on Tustin. Inside, it's pretty normal. I usually just go in a drop something off and leave. But know the line can get pretty long, and it may or may not move quickly. They still lock their doors when they are closed so there's no way to drop something off except a small letter that can fit into the drop box outside. read more

I honestly have never dealt with poor customer service from USPS workers. However, after moving to the area, I would make the drive to the Yorba Linda location, despite it being further away, just to avoid a female Asian chick that works there (I think her name is Jolene). She is rude, dismissive, and condescending; a grade A B---ch!! If you need anything other than sending out a package or mail, she reacts as if you've just asked her to insert a thermometer into a horse's butt. God forbid she has to walk away from her counter for 5 seconds to grab a form. Genuinely wish her a good day at the end of her crappy service and you'll get an annoyed, "Ya," and no eye contact - you are too beneath her to waste another minute in her day because how dare you come to the post office for post office service. Terrible service. Avoid this place! I did a notarization here on July 13th and paid for a local USPS tracking mail. I explicitly requested NO signature required. They completely messed up: Delayed Mailing: They forgot to ship it on time. Even after I called to remind them on the 14th, they delayed it until that night. Unauthorized Signature: They added "Signature Required" without my consent. Because of this, USPS couldn't deliver it to the closed business in Monterey Park, turning a local mail into a 3-day mess. Awful Attitude: When I called for help, they were extremely dismissive, impatient, and told me to "solve it yourself." Zero apologies, zero customer care. Now I have to pick it up myself. I've come to the conclusion that every post office I visit is equally awful. I originally came to this Anaheim Hills location, which was just as bad as Orange one off Tustin this one is probably worse. The employees inside the offices are consistently miserable, and it makes you wonder why they even choose to work there. These cannot possibly be the same people who deliver our mail and packages to our homes, because the behavior inside the office is shocking. The staff moves at an unbelievably slow pace, almost as if it's intentional, and the attitude toward customers is openly rude and dismissive... They're literally as slow as freakin SLOTHS!!! No joke..... it's almost like they enjoy being miserable!!! Passport process was made easier with the advice of Howard the representative at the Post Office counter. Howard was extremely informative, efficient and very professional with a sincere smile and courteous demeanor. Make an appointment at the kiosk machine located by the PO Box area. When you return with your form filled out, passport photo, and check... you don't have to wait in line. At your scheduled appointment it takes only 15 minutes. Hopefully you get Howard! I filed an insurance claim and was required to do an inspection at my local usps station. It took me three visits finally meet someone who is capable of doing an inspection and continue with the filing process. Then tragically usps headquarter said my claim was denied because I did not complete an inspection. So my visits were completely wasted, now I need to appeal my claim. These people should be fired. read more

I frequent the Post Office almost everyday for my business. Everytime I have come in the last 5-10 times, they have (3) people working the counter and only (1) of them getting people in and out of the line. Cancelling my PO Box here as soon as possible and going to a different location. Why can't the Post Master get this place together? A little advice for any or all mail carriers and that's please stop leaving packages on the yard where the sprinklers get them wet. If you can't put them in the mailbox then by the front door is reasonable because the package that I was looking for was my medications from the pharmacy read more

Editing to update my previous review. I previously said I was unsure of the rude man's name who "helped" me. But I have since confirmed that it was Mark, the bearded old man with a terrible attitude. I had to go back to this post office twice to fix the issue and was eventually offered a refund by the manager. While I was there to get my refund, Mark chimed in to say that the email I received from USPS "sounds like a scam". No one was talking to him. The guy just felt the need to butt in and give his two cents. Meanwhile, he remained clueless that the reason I even had to pay for a mail intercept, make multiple calls to USPS, and return to this post office three times was because of him. While I was waiting to talk to the manager, I heard Mark making strange and inappropriate comments to some of the female customers in line. This guy is just plain gross and should not be working with the public. The manager and everyone else besides Mark are helpful here. But I will never stand in line at this post office again due to my experience with him. It seems he has received multiple complaints from customers but continues to be a problematic employee. I would avoid him at all costs if you must come in for some reason. Editing to add: They absolutely do not answer their phone. Ever. I tried calling multiple times and eventually the line just disconnects and hangs up on you. Not once did someone pick up, no matter what time I called. read more

Appreciate this post office and staff so much. Howard is an angel! I dropped my rent check off without a stamp by accident and came back in a panic a few hours later. Howard dug through everything and found it just in time for the first of the month. I really like this local post office. Although the lines are long, the staff is always pretty thoughtful. When I bought stamps here a few weeks back, the friendly employee made sure I received a sheet of stamps from each of the styles that she thought were the most fun. When I went yesterday, they made sure to grab any packages from those of us in line with prepaid labels. On both visits, the employees were friendly and helpful even when the lines where long. Asked us to wait for a passport then took another person that walked in after us without an appointment. And you wonder why the postal service is so crappy to deal with. For Passport service their camera is out! So be ready with photos before hand or they'll ask you to go get them from AAA across the street. AAA said they'd been sending people over for photos for 7 years so I'm not even sure why they let you make a photo appointment at this USPS location. Other than that it went super smooth and took less than an hour for a family of 4! Make sure to make an appointment and have all your documents/copies/check ready! read more

I hope someone from this post office reads this. This post office has automatic entry doors. I am handicapped and I so appreciate the ease of access to this USPS office. The problem is ever since the Covid pandemic started the automatic doors have been broken. I don't understand why this can't be fixed. Surely you have a maintenance department for the post offices. I'm guessing things get broken there all the time. So why in the Hell can't you get these doors fixed? I can't even get in the place now. Look, I know you are a government agency, but you have unlimited tax dollars. Mr. Post Master, would you please just have the doors fixed. I mean it is your post office and responsibility to keep it in working order. Is that asking too much of you? Simply RIDICULOUS. I reordered my passport at thisLocation. First and foremost I paid for expedited shipping, which was not cheap. I paid for expedited to get it sooner, yet when I called to try and track it ; it is nowhere to be found. I even called the state. They told me that the USPS would be able to help. Comes out the "2" people in the location are on vacation . What a joke. So now I have to wait another 6 days. To even hear if my paper was even submitted . They were so quick to take my money , yet there was no way to track my paperwork . The ladies here are so damn rude too. The Filipino lady was a lil helpful. Def hope this location gets better. Came here on a Friday afternoon and thought I set myself up for failure by going right before closing. I was wrong. For one, this location has lots of parking, different self-serve options if you don't want to wait in line, and plenty of tellers to expedite the queue. On top of that, there are markers on the floor to tell you where to stand so that you're maintaining as much social distancing as possible. Kudos to that. One thing about going to any post office, is make sure you have everything ready to go. That means don't come with boxes not taped, forms not filled out, or not having an address clearly printed on your letters or boxes... that's when things start to get hectic and cause a wait. Yes, some things are unavoidable, but there's a lot that can helped if you plan ahead. The teller (don't know his name - but sat at the far right spot next to the door) was super friendly. Not only was he efficient, but definitely tried to bring a little joy to everyone's day that he encountered. It's the little things that count. Plus, he was able to find me some Halloween stamps, so double score. I liked this branch and will come back knowing that it's not too far from my house! read more

Wow, it was like shopping at the Rack! Super fast and friendly service that day makes me liking this location better than most. This is the worst location, clearly from their multiple awful reviews. I went in today to re-new/change my name with my passport. I had them give me all the paperwork and I stepped aside to fill it all out. I got back in line to put it all in an envelope and snap a picture. I was at the desk at 1:45pm and the older male employee with a mustache refused to take me because "Passport time closes at 2PM". It was 1:45!! He said he could not take my picture and I needed to make another trip to AAA or CVS to get my picture taken. Ridiculous because I had 15min before 2pm hit and there was NO ONE in line behind me. Elaine is a god send for this place. She keeps her cool while managing everyone in the post office. Very well organized and put together. Even handled my kids with stickers etc. She is a gem. I also noticed that she had very limited space to be able to prepare our passports and I have noticed in other post office is they have a dedicated passport office, so I'm not sure why she is forced to have to work on peoples passports on a cluttered postal office teller station. This needs to be changed immediately so that she can work officially and not lose any critically important documents through no fault of her own read more

Stay clear from this location. You'll spend more time in claims dealing with your damaged & lost mail then its worth. Even their own former employees they can't manage to find the W2 forms sent out. Confidential mail with your sensitive information gets lost all the time here. Your best bet is to go to a different location with more capable management. read more

She took the time to listen and instead of offering excuses or diverting to someone else- she searched and explained the process and the gaps and helped me resolve the issue and took on additional customers while did paperwork to save me some time and a trip back to verify identity! Richard is the employee who has the best customer service skills I've ever encountered. And he is the reason I'm giving this post office a 5 star review. He is always very attentive, helpful and super friendly. If he sees a customer sad, he tries to cheer him up. Super patient with customer questions, even with the stupidest questions. I have started an online business without knowing nothing about shipping, and he was the one who helped me overcome so many issues. He goes above and beyond to make my post office experience pleasant and efficient. When I have encountered some problems with my customers regarding shipments, he showed me ways to solve the issues. If I could give zero stars I would! I booked a passport appointment online. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment, there was complete chaos. No sign on where the line starts, lack of organization and the employees specifically the man on duty, (who was the supervisor) was the rudest person I've ever met. Our appointment was scheduled for 10:45am (we arrived 10 minutes early). After waiting 10 minutes, he said, "I have appointments and my next appointment at 11:15 am. will be coming". Dude, we have an appointment and you need to help the 10:45am before the 11:15am. Our paperwork was all filled out a head of time and he communicated poorly and acted as if we didn't have anything completed. The system went down and we ended up leaving after waiting for 35 minutes. No wonder why they are bankrupt! Government run cluster! Awful! read more
