Came to this facility to process my Passport Replacement and Passport name change. I had to expedite the service of my passport due to my September trip to Jamaica and it arrived exactly one week from the day I mailed out my old passport, court documents, photo, fees, and renewal application!!! I was impressed!! The staff were friendly and very informative. Direct and clear on instructions however some may mistaken some of the tellers for being rude. Just professional with not much of a personality yet when staff is short and employees try to be as helpful as possible, they do their best to be very quick and accurate to speed up the system to accommodate everyone and sometimes others can make it difficult for them to do their job right. This place can get very busy with long lines and a long wait that impact poor customer relations. read more

I have always had a really good experience with this post office. The employees there are always very friendly and helpful. I recent went there to send out over a dozen priority mail and needed to keep track of tracking for each one of them. Nina helped me out and she was very patient and kind during the entire process. I feel silly writing a review about a post office. But Yelp keeps prompting me, so I will! Well, like the majority of all USPS locations, the musty smell of mail is familiar, the vacant systematic faces of the postal workers is predictable, the digital number counter on the wall seems to follow behind time as I repeatedly look at my ticket number. Overall, i have a general feeling of "blah" as I switch from one foot to the other. It's always the same. Even the customers adopt the same aura as the postal workers! Argh......., so depressing! Anyhow, this location is accessible by two streets which is convenient. They have an automatic postal station, which is great since I don't always have to stand in the dreary line. The amount of Karens & aging dude bros sharing their "may I speak to the manager" piss & moan stories in these Yelp reviews because of a false sense of entitlement they have from living in Anaheim Hills, White privilege, or proximity to a point in time they last worked a job in customer service -- if ever at all -- would be laughable if it wasn't so vomit inducing. Every time I go here I'm received with courtesy, efficiency, and respect from the employees. Why? Because I treat them like they are deserving of basic human dignity. Given the amount of "whoa is me" tales of inconvenience you'd be under the impression that the employees here don't give a sweaty squat about the customers that come in. WRONG! Almost anyone who has ever worked a customer service based job will tell you that no one cares about your problem if you insist on shouting down, name calling, threatening to get someone fired, making a scene, preventing them from helping other customers, and any other self serving & dehumanizing behavior where a letter being put in your next door neighbors mail box must be a deep state conspiracy organized by the lizard people to influence your vote in the next election. If you know how to work the system, you are in and out. If you don't, you are stuck in line waiting with a number to be called before you can be helped which is always 5-10 minutes later. The trick is simple: use the little thing that looks like an ATM machine in the other room. Not in the post office main office, but off to the side they have a machine that you can weigh your own product, get postage for your own product and a little bin to the right that you can dump the package into. Other great thing is that you can also get stamps from this machine. No waiting in line, unless someone is in front of you and doesn't know how to work the system. They honestly should have 2 of these machines to speed things up and in the end. Last thing anyone wants to do is waste their precious life. Oh yeah, the parking lot sucks. Every time I'm pulling in or out, I witness other people almost backing into this car or that car etc. Watch your rear end when backing up. read more

I came in after hours to send a package through the touch pay and send right away machine. I was just finishing as an employee, Richard, came out to pick up the packages. He was very friendly in his greeting and said yeah I'll take that for you. A few seconds later he noticed I had made a mistake. I'm sending an envelope however he said technically it goes as a package and would require more postage. Definitely didn't want my Mom to pay the difference... it's a surprise. Went to this post office for my daughter's passport and brought with me all required documentation including a notarized letter from my husband giving me permission to obtain it on our behalf. Well, the post office employee being the helpful employee that he was, removed the copy of my husbands drivers license saying very authoritatively that it was not necessary since only the parent submitting in person needs to provide a copy. After paying the rush fee to receive her passport for our out of country trip, I received a letter from the government saying the application is incomplete instead of a passport. I can't possibly put into words my dissatisfaction with this post office. What a waste of time. What a waste of money. What a joke. read more

Absolutely Horrendous Service. There are many Americans desperate for jobs who would give their right arms to work for the USPS. The current employees at the Anaheim Hills PO do not deserve their positions! They are incompetent. They are rude. They go out of their way to be very unhelpful. Despite long 20-minute-wait Christmas lines, one (of just three) counter employee started checking her phone messages while we all waited. No attempt to hurry or understand that people are frustrated by the lack of staff for the number of customers. The staff makes you feel like they are doing you a MASSIVE favor by serving you. They make you feel like you are a complete inconvenience to their day! Worse still they do not do their jobs. I mailed a package and paid extra for signature required at destination service. Package was mailed with tracking. After more than a month, NO tracking showed up on the USPS website. A former postal worker confirmed that in this case, it means that the employees failed to scan in the package when it was dropped off! The manager that helped me was so UNHELPFUL basically denying any responsibility and questioning whether or not I had even dropped it off at his post office. Insulting, demeaning and in complete denial, he told me there was nothing to be done! He made absolutely no effort to assist or to make logical suggestions as to how to trace this missing package! I believe my package was misplaced and is still somewhere in this post office. He told me that was impossible! He simply wanted me to leave! He made that very obvious with his agitated, defensive demeanor. I will not use this post office ever again. It's the sort of place where the employees would rather throw your mail in the trash can rather than get off their stool and put it into the appropriate mailbox. read more

Came in today super frustrated. I'm trying to renew my passport, my pictures were too dark and I had the wrong form too. The postal employee Christine could tell I was frustrated and told me not to worry she would help me. Well she TOTALLY did. Christine told me exactly what I needed, made sure I had it all correctly filled out and then processed it all for me. Rang me up, gave me a confirmation and out the door I went. It's a post office. They sell stamps. You go there when you are really stuck because the USPS.com site isn't working to get you stamps, and you need some. There is always a line. Postal employees are heavily subsidized and union protected, so they're not exactly planning on how to improve customer service. I've noticed the USPS has been coming to my house later and later now. Used to be 12pm now it's as late as 6pm. How is that possible. I've also had mail coming later than the package tracking said. I almost thought someone stole my mail. I actually had one of my order misplaced at someone else's house and it was never returned to me. I had to complain to customer service for the order to be reordered. Very disappointed. They even knew where they misplaced my order.
