For instance, my latest subscription package from Amazon was noted as delivered on 8/1/2026. But there was no sign of the delivery on my security system camera. Then on August 4th, they said they attempted delivery at 6:55, but I saw the truck simply drive by at that time. No delivery attempted. I had to spend an hour on a call with Amazon to have my deliveries replaced. It's so bad now, I asked Amazon to deprioritize USPS as a delivery option.

Packages are left ON TOP of the row of postal boxes...for anyone to steal if they so wish!! Also the postal boxes looks like they have been there since the 50's... mail is CRAMED into these itty bitty boxes, letters that say "do not fold" haven't got a chance in hell of surviving! WE need new LARGER postal boxes and the parcel boxes outside (have to have a key to get into, so the packages are safe) need to up-dated so packages can be left out there instead of on TOP of our mail boxes!!! Come on Auburn...get your crap together and do right by your senior citizens. Thanks.

From my separate City of Auburn review:…read more Auburn is an attractive city, especially Old Town Auburn, which attracts passersby on the highway between Reno and Sacramento with the quaint architecture on a hill flanked by a giant sculpture. Its small-town charm is likely why movies like Rocky and Bullwinkle, Breakdown, Wisdom, and xXx had scenes shot here, but the town relates most to the 1996 John Travolta movie Phinome Phenomin Phenomm Look Who's Talking. The guy who discovered gold here in 1849 was memorialized by Ken Fox with a 45-ton concrete (rebar and wire mesh) statue at the entrance of Old Town. Ken Fox was a dentist able to do this in between teeth cleanings and forcing customers to look at super close-up pictures of their teeth in order to sell "special deep teeth cleaning" by the quadrant. This dentist has more "Great Statues" in the area which you'd likely find ful-"filling". Get it? Anyway, it's right off the highway, so stop there and check out Old Town. We usually go to downtown Auburn, so I am glad we came to Old Town this time. Atmosphere - Cool historic town. Lots of locally owned shops. Plenty of places to eat. Walk friendly but not sure if ADA friendly. Dog friendly, at least at the brewery. :) Service - Good, everyone we met was friendly. Price - Depends on where you shop, eat, and drink. Owner Comment - What a great fun town, looking forward to coming back soon when I have more time.

Every employee I have encountered has been lovely, patient and kind with me. Recently, I was having a bad day. Tapped out emotionally and financially, and I may have vented to the woman helping me. I was making fun of myself for grabbing some snacks and saying it was my lunch. She was so empathetic to my plight and we bonded over Slim Jim's. After my transaction I handed one of my Slim Jim's to her and she said "No, that's for you! I bought it for you" It was such a small gesture but it felt enormous in that moment. I love this location and all of their staff, especially this particular young woman who made my entire week with her generosity!

I went to the Staples in Vacaville yesterday to have a passport photo taken. Unfortunately, I was…read moretold they didn't have any USB drives available and that there was no way for me to get a digital copy. The cashier suggested that I take a photo of the printed passport photo and upload that to the passport website, but unfortunately, that didn't work. Today, I stopped by the Staples in Auburn and was greeted by Wesley. I explained what had happened in Vacaville, and he immediately let me know that I had been given incorrect information. Wesley went above and beyond--he took the time to call the Vacaville store, arrange a refund for me, and make sure I received the proper digital passport photo I needed. The level of customer service Wesley provided is rare these days. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in making sure the problem was resolved. What had been a frustrating experience turned into a great one because of him. Wesley truly saved the day. Staples is lucky to have him. Thank you, Wesley!

Why would I pay you $4.99 if I buy them individually it's only $4.25. I mentioned it to the representative as I was paying for my items and his response was oh well wow... Wow, sorry I don't make the pricing around here. What I was expecting was something more like, let me notify my manager, and we can get that fixed. But I guess you'll get what you pay for with respect to employees as well. Watch out people Staples is inter ripping you off.
