I have been using this Fed Ex pretty regularly recently, dealing with a probate case and a real estate transactions. Every employee I have encountered has been lovely, patient and kind with me. Recently, I was having a bad day. Tapped out emotionally and financially, and I may have vented to the woman helping me. I was making fun of myself for grabbing some snacks and saying it was my lunch. She was so empathetic to my plight and we bonded over Slim Jim's. After my transaction I handed one of my Slim Jim's to her and she said "No, that's for you! I bought it for you" It was such a small gesture but it felt enormous in that moment. I love this location and all of their staff, especially this particular young woman who made my entire week with her generosity! read more

Management is lazy. This place used to be amazing but n last 2 years keeps going down hill. 3 people pretend they are busy on print jobs as the shipping line proceeds to get longer. The poor kid they have at shipping cant read and type, so he has to hunt and peck letter by letter while they watch him struggle. 17 mins in line for one customer while they sat and proceeded to read a paper and screen, purposely avoiding helping their new employee. . Fed ex needs to step in. This is ridiculous. read more

Not even a FedEx problem just ONE specific worker. Genuinely one of the worst interactions I've ever had with any sort of customer service person. Works costumer service but Clearly lacks the skills to even speak to people . So incredibly incompetent, unhelpful and weirdly unnecessarily condescending. I Didn't have much knowledge on shipping my own stuff which is why I relied on someone to maybe HELP??? Do her JOB??? I just needed one more thing packed (took like 1 minute) by them and some labels printed. I was asked some questions at first but quickly caught on that it was to print labels which I already had QRs for. She got upset cause I didn't bring that up but i literally walked in and asked to package one quick thing and HAVE LABELS PRINTED. We were only on this for one minute before I showed the QRs and most likely saved time because I already had these saved on my phone as screenshots. This was actually a quick process but unnecessarily longer than it should've been. I don't even leave reviews but this was such a bad experience that it felt necessary. I didn't get a name tag or care enough to go get it but it was an old lady with white hair and she shouldn't be working here. Try to avoid or else you'll walk out with your good vibes/mood ruined. I have had wines shipped to this location for years. Today I couldn't find my drivers license, so I took my passport to pick up my shipment. I was told that Fed ex only accepts a drivers license or state issued ID because it has my home address on it. Really?! What kind of company doesn't accept a passport as photo ID. I decided to scour my vehicle and found my license and went back. The employee didn't even need my address at all, just wouldn't accept an ID without a home address. Woman employee was short tempered and got so upset when my husband went to customer service without scanning his ready for shipment package. She was so rude. He told her he was hard of hearing and needed assistance. She went over scanned the package and said wait for your receipt! There were two other patrons and another employee. No rush. She may have been under the influence. read more

She charged us whopping $18 for packaging without telling us. most of the items were pre packed by us, the expectation is that she will tell us about the packing fee upfront. We ended up paying it, and regret having not objected to it. will never be using this fedex center. She didn't even pack it in front of us, feels like evasion of privacy. read more

This team is really great! I could call them all out by name, but really, every single one of them has helped me at some point in time, and they regularly save the day for me and my company, even when I'm cranky and in a rush. I work for a sorority and regularly have to send packages to 10-15 different addresses at a time, often with rush shipping, and I'm always working on a tight budget. This can hold up the line and cause annoyance and/or confusion in many FedEx associates, but not here. Trust me, I've been to over 50 FedEx locations, so I'd definitely know! Last time I was in, Ashley worked with me for over an HOUR to shop 23 packages to different locations and was awesome! Workers are rude and completely ignorant about their own business. Staples in the same shopping center can do everything copy related that you need but without the insulting attitude from the workers. In fact, they're actually pleasant to work with. On three different occasions I've tried to get something done here only to be treated like a child who is abusing their personal property. Went to Staples to print the exact same thing with no problem for cheap. The same thing which I was told by fedex/kinkos employees was not possible to do. Having been a long time kinkos customer since college, I'm sorry to say that I will do everything I can to avoid ever going to this store again, even for my shipping needs. read more

The old saying 'lack of planning on your part doesn't necessitate an emergency on my part' was my expectation when I visited the store recently with a small-ish project. 30 minutes before closing. Which I realised I needed for the next morning. About 60 minutes before closing. Yeah, I'm that guy. So it is with a dozen glowing superlatives that I thank the young man who assisted me (I'm thinking he may have been the Assistant Manager) at the last minute when, in fact, he likely could have been busy closing up shop. Or any number of things that young people have to do with their time when hoping to get out of work on time and here comes some jackass with no preparation and needing 300 copies in 8 pt. helvetica bold. The gentleman helped tremendously and even found a way to make the formatting work more to my desired goal which is very much appreciated. I left 5 minutes before closing a very happy customer. Copies are cheaper at Walker's Office Supply & Superfast Copies.......about 3 miles up the road. FedEx is a good reliable ground shipper, and I still use this location to ship packages. 5 stars for Fed Ex, 1 star for the overpriced copies.......3 stars overall. read more

Totally stressing this morning before court. No printer and had to provide the court office with 17 pages of paperwork. I spoke to Joe (8/3/16) right when they opened at 7am. I told him my predicament and he completely handled it! I sent him the pdf I needed printed out and he had it ready and waiting for me by the time I got there. I was in and out in less than 2 mins. This is the worst customer service and inefficiently ran store. If I have the choice, I'd rather visit the one in roseville. They are so great there! They rarely even greet when entering the store, and when waiting forever EVERY-TIME to be helped, they don't even acknowledge the customers waiting in line. They maybe just understand everytime I come in, but they can still can improve on their customer service by saying hello, one moment, I'll be right with you, or even smarter, multitask by asking if they have a quick question or something they can help with then and there that takes 1-2 minutes, while asking the other question and/ or excusing self to assist so simply by helping others faster out of the store. It's worse than the bank waits. For instance, I needed to print, but they ineffectively keep all the nice print paper in the back rather than on a roll around table behind the counter that I can ask and purchase then in there. If I could give this place zero stars I would!! I have been using Kinkos at this location for years and years....and its gotten worse and worse! Last time I was there I walked out without a product because the employee I was dealing with was beyond RUDE and sooooooo awful to me that it wasnt worth the savings or "convenience". I was told by an employee that they were unable to print on my heavy weight of paper and that it was impossible to do. Really? So you sell the paper but I can't print on it? WTF??? I told her that last time I was there someone was printing their own wedding invites and why was my job any different, my paper was not even cardstock!! to which she didnt have a response and just kept saying "we cant do it, it wont work". Finally I walked out and while in the parking lot my man suggested we try Staples instead. So to Staples we walked where an amazingly sweet employee spent a total of 5 min to do my printing...perfectly!! Went into the FedEx Office at 455 Grass Valley Highway in Auburn and will never return. I went to ship a package via FedEx that had some expensive integrated circuits inside. I've been packaging and shipping parts for 35 years and know what I am doing. Because the declared value was so high they wanted to open the box to see. Fair enough, they opened the box. Then they told me that it wasn't packed well enough and that I would have to go and re-pack it. They were packed in anti-stat foam and each sheet was sandwiched in two more pieces of anti-stat foam. Then they were suspended in core-view packaging with bubble bags to prevent crushing. These flunkies rundly implied that I was trying to scam them by shipping and then filing an insurance claim. I told them to re-tape my box and I would take my business elsewhere. I went across the parking lot and received five-star service from Staples and shipped UPS through them. Just sold all of my FedEx stock, hope they go out of business! read more
