Gave me wrong information that I had to have the original box AND the Amazon box. She kept counting the time to get off work, ("we close in 7 minutes"). Amanda said she just wanted to go home & refused to help me further. Very nasty attitude, extremely rude, unmotivated and just plain lazy left a very bad impression. And to top it off, she was dishonest on what was required to do an amazon return & trying to upsell packaging. Took the same exact items to Sedona UPS, they scanned the label and accepted the return. The whole transaction took 2 minutes in Sedona and service with a smile. In UPS Cottonwood got nothing accomplished in the 15 minutes there and had to be dumped on by Amanda's misery and rush to be off shift. The smug young male colleague inserting himself didn't help the situation. The only person trying to assist was unable to because controlling Amanda was circling around us, hovering, and interrupting. Cherry on top for bad service, Amanda yelling profanities towards me when she locked up the store. She needs to GO! Will not be using this location for my mail services or business needs.

They can help you at the counter or you can use the self kiosk in the lobby, they only have one, but it's a small space. This store can get busy at times to form a line & also a line for the kiosk. Since my first visit I've been here several more times whenever I find myself in the area, and needing a UPS store.

This store and the staff used to be great to work with, but now the person I see working most often…read moreis rude and short with people. I have never seen her smile, she doesnt care to get to know the regular people who come in all the time and she structures her "Rules and Guidelines" Like she works for the DMV. I saw another worker in there that I have never seen before and she is worse. I liked the staff that they used to have.

Part II My response…read moreto the UPS Store manager's response is as follows. Well Tabitha, since you don't want to know what it is that I want from your store to make this situation right, I am going to tell you anyway. I want this to be a memorable experience for you, your nasty, rude, and disrespectful employee and now the franchise owner of your four stores as well. The cover up is almost always worse than the original crime. And that is what you are doing. And to pursue that goal, I have been in contact with your corporate headquarters to find out what the protocols are for resolving disputes between individual stores and unhappy customers. And so, in addition to my social media campaign, I am now going to take this up with the UPS store HQ to find out if they care more than you do. And just FYI, this is not a "he said", "she said" because there are as many cameras in your store as a bank and so everything was recorded and you have that video. If you really cared, you would review that recording and see that this is not a "he said" versus "she said", this is about you lying and covering up for your terrible employee. You also wrote one thing about your response to my reviews on media sites, and you gave me quite different responses in your emails. You are a liar, and I am going to expose your lies to not only your corporate office, but to the public as well. And I have already won because this is now a memorable experience for you, isn't it? But even so, this is far from over because you are still in possession of my mail. And it wasn't that your store policy for key refunds wasn't explained better to me, it was that it wasn't explained to me at all and I was told another lie and that my key deposit was being retained because my box had expired the previous day at midnight and that is how this whole ordeal began. It is your responsibility to take care of my mail and give it to me whereas I am under no obligation to stand there and take abuse from your nasty, rude, and disrespectful employee while she leisurely sorts through my mail with it in her hands. And this entire nasty exchange happened in front of several other customers who were waiting in line behind me which made it quite embarrassing for me. I walked out instead, but that does not absolve you of your duty to take care of my mail. Your employee thought she had power over me because she was holding my mail and now you think the same thing because you have not only my mail, but my driver's license that you failed to tell me about as well. What were you planning on doing with it? And I now want to be compensated for the emotional and physical distress this entire event has caused me. Tell your UPS Store franchisee to get out his checkbook because that is the only way this is going to end.

I went in to buy the postcard stamps and the postal lady's bad attitude was like 'what do you want'. I bought the stamps and came back about a half hour later. I asked her politely if I can get the 20 cards hand cancelled, she looked at me like I was asking her to jump on the Pony Express and to deliver them in person. Look lady you are at a tiny post office not some busy as hell post office like the one's in New York city. Please retire and have someone who wants to work take your place.

Sure it has been updated with some tacky lighting and such but those P.O. Boxes? Wow! They are beautiful. So I went in and got my stamp before I had written the card and the service I received was with a smile and she was very friendly. I tossed my card in the slot so instead of the hand stamp, I'm guessing it'll be the machine stamp. Fast forward a week and I'm back home. Since it was a card to my kid and grandkids I can sadly confirm that it was a machine stamp from Phoenix versus this amazing little post office nearly two hours from Phoenix (lost a star for that one). Either way, it is a very cool place to check out.
