I retired from FedEx in 2019 after over 30 years of employment there. When FedEx Express did the deliveries it was prompt with good and friendly service. Since the advent of Ground taking over ALL deliveries the level of service has become something much less desired. The service I'm getting at my present location is quite bad. The driver is the most surly courier I've encountered ever including Amazon and UPS. The packages from the current individual look like they were bathed in a dust bowl. I can't bring them in the house to open because they are filthy. She delivered one day, recently, from a rental van, and the package was clean. I guess the managers don't do check rides any longer. This pains me to see this happening since I spent such a long time employed by FedEx. read more

Signature required package. Delivery window of 12:15 - 14:15 on a Saturday. I made sure I was home at 11:50am, driver "Neal" tracked never came close to my area and Driver never attempted the package. Horrible service. read more

Nothing but bad experiences with this company. After they delivered my packages to my front gate, I'm assuming the driver is too lazy to drive to my house and drop off at my front door. He left 2 packages on different delivery dates out by my gate, one was an envelope mailer that got soaking wet after he delivered, and another box that was so saturated i had to remove all the contents and throw away the disintegrated box. i have made 4 phone calls to fedex customer service and each has told me the same thing, that all the changes i have requested will be enforced from the time i got off the phone with them....THEY WERE NOT!!! Now the driver has to do a 10 point turn to leave my front gate area, and is now ruining my neighbors driveway. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE! I even tried calling the local office just to get a number not in service...go figure. FEDEX is probably the WORSTE shipping company out there..IMO read more

I just got a notification saying my package delivered and a picture was taken as so called proof. But when I went outside, it wasn't there. I'm not sure what is going on but a few days ago I had the same issue with USPS like what TF is going on? I've never had my packages missing until lately. I keep having delivered items and it's not actually delivered. I'm probably not gonna order anything from anyone. Oh and my delivery said that there was no signature required. I tried opening a case and solving the issue but to no avail. read more

Literally one of the worst business I've ever had to deal with, packages are always late and staff lies about having "reached out" Saying they left messages about the delivery when the didn't. It's unfortunate that some companies like Wayfair choose to use them , I like Wayfair but will have to bring my business elsewhere as the constant delays are a hassle. The latest issue , our address needed updating ...? There was nothing wrong with our address, called, got transferred to three different departments spent over an hour on the phone. Checked status this morning ...you guessed it "unable to deliver package, address needs updating Update :byes another package says "delivered" but nothing at my door. I am just so tired of dirty half , torn packages being delivered. There is also a BIG SIGN ON THE FRONT door asking the drivers ring the doorbell so package does not sit in the HOT SUN OR FREEZING COLD IN WINTER. We can only assume , the drivers can not read English or don't give a d..... We have called and spoke to either unhelpful, condensing people about the on going issues . One time got through to someone in TX who PROMISED they WOULD ADVISE PRESCOTT VALLEY FED -X OFFICE about the issues. FedEx plain sucks!! I've never had more problems with packages then I have with FedEx! I have actually not Bought from companies because they ship with FedEx! It just keeps getting worse as well!! FedEx keeps leaving my things in full view because the driver is too lazy to come to my front porch. I cannot get through to the FedEx line and have tried several times for several days on permanent hold. When in town I've used this service for dropoffs several times and am always met with courteous, friendly service. Their hours are plainly posted and questions about Ground colllection time are answered without any problems. I use UPS and FedEx often but I trust FedEx more simply because I've had more problems with UPS leaving my packages at wrong addresses. Likely because UPS is bloody overwhelmed with Amazon boxes and the drivers get careless~ I've never had an incorrectly delivered package with FedEx. But had one yesterday with UPS. Anyway back to this location - it's the only one in this tiny town but the few times I've used them everything has been spot on. I don't know what the problem is with other reviewers here, but many of the reviews here have nothing to do with this location. I will use these guys again when I'm in town. read more

FEDEX is one of the worst carriers in the business today. I look forward to seeing them go out of business ASAP. I tried to send tissue samples using a shipping label provided by the lab that was to receive the package. Called for pickup (pu). No one came to pickup. I called the FEDEX 800# again only to find that the person taking my first call for pu marked the package as FEDEX GROUND SHIP. That dumb move by FEDEX caused me to miss the overnight delivery time. I clearly stated that the package return label was mark FEDEX EXPRESS and I informed FEDEX that the package was also marked as PERISHABLE--RUSH (needed to be kept cold, but not freezing.) I will NEVER again use another lab or company that ships via FEDEX. The lab I was trying to ship the package to will be informed of this FEDEX mess. If they continue to use FEDEX, I will be forced to use another lab. Incidentally, this shipment was worth more money than you can imagine. Priceless. FEDEX may very well be looking at a lawsuit because of their poor skills as a major shipping provider. No wonder medical transplants will only use a courier service that sends a person with the shipment. Hand carried from point A to point B. Apparently it is the only way to go! This entire experience with FEDEX was totally unacceptable. Do yourself a favor, save yourself from much unneeded grief, and use UPS. I used UPS on a daily basis for more than 31 years while I was in business for myself. Excellent service! In the entire time of more than 31 years, only one package was lost or delivered late by UPS. What a great track record! Perhaps FEDEX should pattern themselves after UPS. Just a suggestion.......... read more

I went in today to get some shipping options for a box that I was mailing out, and I must say that the person behind the counter was a bit cranky and not really helpful. I plan on doing a lot of shipping in the coming months, and I don't really feel like interacting with that person again. read more

Use FedEx a last resort for delivery service. They are paid to deliver within certain timeframes (regardless of a rural delivery or how many packages they have). They have had my 4 packages for 7 days today and are telling me it'll be one more day. UPS is always on point... It amazes me how Fedex gets away with breaking their delivery terms... read more

I was supposed to receive a package today that required a signature. OK, fine, we stayed home all day to receive the package and sign for it. No Fedex truck arrived. In late afternoon, we took a break from our yard work and learned that they had called and left a message that since we did not answer our phone (we were outside working in the yard), they would leave it at an undisclosed location in a town over 30 miles away. And, that is what they did. Someone we never heard of signed for it at an undisclosed location. It took several calls to Fedex to finally get the address of the place they left it. It , interestingly, it was in a different town from the one they named in the original message left on our machine. And, by then, no one was there. They now say they will try to get it to me tomorrow, but I do not have a lot of confidence. They have made stupid and lazy mistakes in the past, as well as out-and-out lies, but this takes the cake. Additionally, Fedex parcels arrive with more obvious evidence of abuse than UPS. The difference between the two carriers is night and day. I don't know if this is a new policy or what, but I am appalled by them refusing to deliver a package requiring a signature if the recipient is not sitting by the phone to answer calls all day. This occurred at the direction of management in Prescott Valley. I will do my best not to do business with any company that ships Fedex. This is the latest in a series of unsatisfactory situations with Fedex. Update: I got a call from them a day later, and was informed that it was a standard practice to "deliver a package to an alternate location, even if a signature is required." That seems to defeat the purpose of requiring a signature. Or maybe, any signature at any location is OK with them. I doubt that it is OK with the shipper. read more

We tried to ship the same item 4 times, each time with a different person and different story. The employees we dealt with weren't interested in doing their job, especially the middle aged, brown haired woman with glasses. She was totally clueless. We finally gave up and went to UPS, where we sent it in one trip, and saved $43. Avoid this Fedex, unless you wish to find yourself in a Monty Python sketch. read more

2 months ago a FedEx driver drover right over and through a flagstone rock planter and light stand along our driveway. Broke the light, killed the plants, broke up the rocks. Our driveway is wide enough to drive an Abrahms tank through with room to spare. I was told they were "investigating". A couple weeks later I complained and they started another investigation. A couple weeks after that I said what are you doing? Gave them my "investigation" # and photographs and they said they would "investigate" and gave me a new number. They could have just looked at the bumper that structure had to weigh 200 pounds and pieces were everywhere. Enclosed photos show the tire marks going off the driveway and some of the wreckage. FedEx is just hoping I will go away. I won't, I am telling everyone about you, even UPS drivers are laughing at you now. They drive right by it several times a week. Fed Ex is just hoping people will forget about theses things. I won't. read more

I wish I could give this office zero stars. I dropped off a package at the Prescott Valley AZ office yesterday with all its pre-shipping return labels on it and 24 hours later the same package is on my door step with no reason why. To say I am angry is an understatement. I will never personally use FedEx for myself or my business since this is how they treat their customers. read more

Horrible service! UPS is a far better carrier. We have packages come and go weekly. 95 % are handled by UPS and there are very few problems. Situations that can be expected when there is a fill-in driver. Of the 5 % handled by FedEx, 7 out of 10 deliveries involve a situation created by driver laziness, incompetence or FedEx company policy / procedure that doesn't serve the best interest of the customer. We avoid FedEx whenever possible. read more
