Understaffed and Under appreciated! The folks with some power to make changes in the post office need to recognize that E Commerce has put a burden on old school staffing numbers. Impossible for limited staff to keep up with the volume in Columbia Falls Post Office. Paul,Jocelyn and Keely due an extraordinary job with their hands tied. I was from out of town. I had a packaged that was supposed to be delivered at my Airbnb but the address was wrong. I went down to the post office to try to retrieve my package. I got the note that they could deliver on Saturday 12 pm. I couldn't go that day so I had to wait for Monday. I go into the post office and got tossed around to a couple of people. The last lady was extremely rude. She said I wasn't a delivery address and I said I know I've come to pick up my package. She then told me she returned the items. As I'm tracking the package. It's still at the post office they keep on trying to deliver it and it's not going anywhere. So basically they are sitting on my package as they are telling me they returned it. Incompetent is an understatement. The tracking said sat undeliverable, Mon 10am packaged held by carrier. Tuesday available to pick up at po. Thursday undeliverable (meaning they are still trying to deliver it to an address that doesn't exist) pick up at carrier. So they still are trying to deliver, and the lady lied to me it was there. Now I'm without my packages. Bunch of people sitting on their thumbs. Avoid if possible. read more

Employees here are so helpful. I had a misplaced shipment issue with another post office, I was unable and they contacted them for me to find my package. They answered all my questions and were so patient. read more

The Columbia Falls Post Office is a complete farce! The postmaster, will lie to you as well her workers. They have limited hours that do not work with people who have jobs and are unable to get to the post office. They will not hold mail for the required amount of time Ording to postmaster rules. They will lie about its whereabouts, my package was in the building, but they had told me it had been sent back already. read more

The Columbia Falls Post office and it's delivery staff are less than desirable. Their carriers are surly, don't deliver packages based on the customer's needs, and when there's a complaint issued to the postmaster nothing is done because our carrier and the postmaster are friends. On top of all of the issues that we have had with this location now they close the doors to the brick and mortar building without so much as a reason why posted. read more

Postmaster Lady that works at the post office is a complete and total **tch. She said someone else picked up my package. She said that they produced an ID "my ID. I've been sick with Covid for the past three days I did not go to the post office. We'll see how this goes if they fail to find the package then I will pursue things legally. read more

MY C. Falls mail carrier is a liar. Numerous times she has not delivered pkgs. and registered mail because she won't go to the bother even when I'm right here in the house 50' away. This statement couldn't more spot on. My carrier straight up forged my signature and lied in leaving a note for my recent important package stating it was "Left with individual". Which is complete and total BS. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Not only over the last 6 years have I had several issues in getting items delivered to my residence, as well as having mail incorrectly delivered SEVERAL times. Right as I plan to move, I had a 90 day refill for an important prescription shipped to my house so I would have enough medication to cover me for the next few months. This package required a signature and in my tracking, it said my package was "delivered to an individual, and signed by me." When I never got my package in the first place. In dealing with them in resolving this issue, the older gentleman behind the counter told me, "Well because of covid she probably just signed it for you and put it in your box". THAT. IS. ILLEGAL. REGARDLESS. OF. COVID. I can't imagine if I was another person who needed urgent medication such as heart medicine. Complete lack of care, and total disregard for the people they are supposed to serve. I've been given nothing but the run-around. I've stopped in several times, I've filed a claim with the postal inspector, and I even filed a police report. It always leads to, "Oh, well we'll call you." Not good enough. This is the worst Post Office I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with and I pray others have better luck with them in the future. Good luck. read more

I hate dealing with USPS, but I have to live with the fact that sometimes its the only option. today I waited all day for a package to be delivered, my tracking number told me that it was out for delivery at 8am. I was updating the web sight every half hour to make sure nothing was going to go wrong, at 4pm that day when I updated website it told me that my package was undeliverable. the cow that drives my street never even drove by and then didn't scan the package in till they closed! I WILL NEVER USE USPS. I WILL NOT SHOP WITH PEOPLE WHO ONLY OFFER USPS FOR SHIPPING. VOTE WITH YOUR MONEY. read more

I don't no how many times I've had problems with our mail lady but the number is outrageous. People down our street get our mail quite a bit. Not to mention when we do get our mail it's completely crammed into our mailbox wrinkling almost every piece of mail. And today was the last straw again our mail was not delivered. I think our post office needs to really do something about this it's just ridiculous now. Wonder if I'll have the same problem in Whitefish. Plus when you call the local office you have to wait 50mins to get serviced. Bullshit. read more

I wish I could think of something positive to say about this "branch"......hmmmm...nope. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Well maybe something...they have nice stamps. and..and....and sometimes the employees are helpful. Sometimes. Delivery is a nightmare. Delivery "routes"are chronicled in a twenty five year old three ring binder filled with dog-eared yellowed pages that were typed back in the day and "updated" by crossing out and writing in the margins and require the divination of a soothsayer possesed with the knowledge of only the the most seasoned veteran and even then a good dose of luck is helpful. I could go on but it will avail me not, for it will not serve as an impetus for change and hasn't made me feel better thus far so....goodnight. read more
