Not sure who our current mail carrier is for our business, but whoever it is has claimed our business was closed on multiple occasions and not delivered packages that won't fit in our mailbox. We have things being shipped to us that we need to run our business, and expect to be delivered when the package tracking states "out for delivery". We have someone here from 6am until 1:45am, Monday - Thursday, so there's no excuse for not bringing the packages to our delivery door on those days. I understand today is a holiday, but at the time the carrier claimed "delivery attempted, business closed", there were clearly 14 cars in our parking lot, so it's obvious we were open. I'm aware the post office is short staffed, and I know this time of year is very busy, but delivering packages is part of the job, and we need the items for our job. * I have no idea why this has CA for my location, I assure you, I am in Dover, NH. read more

MARTY SHOULD BE FIRED. He makes so many women uncomfortable and it is an awful example of customer service. I know 15-20 young and old ladies in Dover who refuse to go to this post office because he says creepy things like telling them they are good looking, asking to go on dates and telling them they smell nice. Our carrier is lazy. Won't get out of the car if the package won't fit in my extra large mailbox. Won't deliver regular mail if someone is parked within 10' of my mailbox. But has gotten out to leave a note as to why the mail wasn't delivered but would not leave my mail. read more

Honestly the most unprofessional people who clearly get upsetty if you throw away the junk mail so they apparently took i upon themselves to RIP my fucking name off my mailbox after I had spoken to them 3 days prior telling them I do in fact live at my said address and then 3 days later that same incompetent post office worker ripped my entire mailbox tag off. It's absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable and the woman on the phone was nothing but condescending. If i didn't have to use them I NEVER would. Absolutely the worst!! I requested my packages be picked up, because I have a disability and I'm sick. The driver refused to come in and get them and made me bring them downstairs and outside. (That defeated the purpose of pick up and was hard for me) I called this post office to complain about the carrier. A women answered and was so rude! She refused to help me, defended the carriers action and hung up on me twice. When I called back to ask her name, she mumbled something like Yonell? She refused to tell me her supervisor or spell her name, she wouldnt give me her last name. She said she didn't have to give me her name. And hung up on me again! Mind you, I wasn't being rude or yelling. Can you believe the customer service? I reminded her its customers who pay her salary and she yelled at me that I didn't pay her salary. God help me I never want to deal with this post office again. I made a complaint to the district I hope it helps. This women needs a new job. read more

The employees of this Post Office literally stole the package I sent to a client in this zip code. They lied to my client and told him he had to give them cash in order to release the package. This is fraud and extortion. We have a USPS account that automatically charges our company for any package weight or dimension issues, so it cannot possibly be for this reason. The sole reason for demanding a cash payment in exchange for a package with paid postage can only be extortion. When my client wouldn't give them cash they kept the package for themselves personally, never delivered it, never scanned it as delivered, and then pretended a huge box with a piece of furniture in it went "missing" somewhere in their station. While a visit to the post office is actually a pleasant experience, very courteous and professional counter folks. Not so with the current delivery worker to the Central Ave, near the police station, addresses. All to often letters and packages are delivered to the wrong address and in the past 2 weeks we have not seen a delivery to our building. Calling the manager is a dead end as she will make an excuse that "they're not supposed to enter the building" Even though they've been delivering mail here for the past several years that I've lived in. read more

Consistently, for 16+ years, the Dover, NH Post Office has been my favorite PO ever. The front-desk employees are EFFICIENT, EXPERT, COURTEOUS, PATIENT, FRIENDLY...even funny. I so enjoy listening to their humorous banter with each other and with customers, I am actually sorry when I am finished and have to leave! (By the way, they never needlessly keep us waiting chatting with customers.) I have heard that customers from another town actually go out of their way and come to the Dover PO to do business, as their own postal workers are so rude. Also, the entire downtown area misses perennially-sunny Mailman Mark, since he was injured by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bike while off-duty. read more

I had shipped two packages, dropping both off in the package drop off box in the lobby of the post office. One started tracking the same day, and there is no sign of the second package. When I called to ask, I was told that there were certainly no packages laying around and it could most definitely have not been misplaced. It has been three days since I dropped of the packages and still, no tracking on the second one. The man on the phone told me multiple times that maybe the label fell off, even when I assured him I had securely covered the entire label. I was also told there are no security cameras in the post office (so now we know the cameras are fake) and there was no possible way someone maybe took my package, but it will probably show up at some point. Knowing that he was not willing to help me or even double check for my peace of mind, I ended the conversation there. I will never ship any packages from this post office again, due to the lack of consideration of employees. read more
