You can never get a live person!!! Their automated attendant systems sucks. Erlanger KY post office branch has a chronic problem with getting mail delivered and it has been going on for sometime. I am not receiving mail/small packages that I know have been mailed out. Some items with tracking numbers have just totally disappeared and I have neighbors bringing my mail over since it was delivered to the wrong address. Also, I mailed out envelopes that looked like something was enclosed to myself from other postal branches and have not received any. Something is serious wrong with this branch of the USPS. read more

You have got to visit this branch post office if for no other reason than to see the employee with the 70s 'fro! Think Welcome Back Kotter or Shaft! I stopped in today to mail a package. First, it's in a shopping center, which is weird! And second, there's a lobby, but you can only use the door on one side of the lobby to enter?! Once I was inside, I got in line. Took way too long, but part of that was because an older gentleman had lost his money order. Finally get up to the counter. Two employees working, one male (with 'fro) and one female. The two obviously like to be sarcastic with their customers...they teased a younger guy about one-cent stamps and after he was gone, they shared other tales of how they had "pulled one over" on other customers. I've been shipping SCHEDULED PICK-UP(YEAH RIGHT!!!) Priority Mail packages for over 4 years now. I'd say 95% of the time I'm having to run out my door and yell for the mailman to come back because he missed my SCHEDULED pick-up yet again. That 95% is being generous. I have called Customer Service as I was ask to by them Billions of times about the Post Office. They just plain SUCK. I'm over their excuses and over having to watch and see if they happen to pick-up my packages. Tuesday November 13th, yesterday I had a SCHEDULED pick-up. Since no one showed up and it was past 4pm I called the post office. Chris told me they just had not made it to my street yet. This continued on for about 3 more calls. This time it was 4:50pm(P.O closes at 5pm)...Then Chris said they would be out till 7:30pm, so my package would be picked up and shipped out still. I call at almost 8pm...because guess what!!!!?? NO ONE PICKED UP MY SCHEDULED package yet. Was told(By CHRIS)...as if this had not been scheduled and it was no big deal...If he could find someone he would send them to pick up my package. VERY upset by this time I said....IF!!!! ooooooooookay??? Well...No one ever showed up. This means that my customer that had to have this Order shipped no later than Tuesday November 13th, was S.O.L.,like me! I called that post office for most of the day several times and it was a waste of my time to do so. They are so unprofessional and they suck at their job!!!!!! Again I have been dealing with this type of slacker behavior for over 4 years. Customer Service always says they will launch an investigation. However...nothing ever changes. Something better and SOON!!! As for me....I'm going to check out some other companies to start picking up my Orders. SO SAD!!! These people just can not get it together!!!!!!!!! P.S I know for a FACT the MailMan was on my street,but continued on in his mail truck right past my house...right to the Post Office. Someone I know told me they saw him. Again SAD!!! read more

Completely inept non-service. I paid $5.75 on 2/5/15 for Priority Mail 2-business day service specifically so that I would receive delivery confirmation for sending very sensitive information. The piece of mail left San Francisco and was scanned all the way to Erlanger, KY on 2/9/15. That was the end of the scanned information. So I have no delivery confirmation at all. Instead all I received was a message saying 'Delivery status not completed'. Right. I paid so much more than standard postage for having no service at all. My mail was supposed to have been delivered on 2/9/15; here it is 2/17/15 and not one update has been done. I called the USPS main phone number which is totally useless as it firstly tells the caller they are so inundated with numerous calls to go on their website to view the same information. But the website does not answer my question as to whether or not my mail was actually delivered. I had also filed an online complaint since 2/12/15, and up to now no one at the USPS has bothered to contact me. All I can surmise is that it either may have been delivered or it may have been lost. So I really should not have bothered to pay an exorbitant price for incompetence. I can also surmise that the USPS employees at the Erlanger, KY branch as well as the main USPS customer service department are careless and have no sense of work ethic. Otherwise, they would have done their jobs and followed through properly and also have contacted me as to what happened. Thankfully this was the first (and hopefully only) time this has ever occurred. But I am very reluctant now to trust Priority Mail if the USPS employees are hit or miss with delivering my mail. Judging from the old review posted by another reviewer in 2008 nothing has improved. read more

I am a 100% Disabled Veteran and rely on the Postal Service to deliver all my medication from the VA. On 1/19/2016, I was not at home to sign for my medication and the Mail Man left me notice that the item from the VA had to be signed for and I would have to call the Post Office in order to have it redelivered. I made the call on the same day that I was left the notice (1-19-2016) and that the parcel would be delivered today (1-20-2016). The Mail Man did not have the parcel and said it would be delivered tomorrow (1-21-2016). I signed the notice and he took it with him...I sincerely hope that I should not have signed for something that I haven't received. I am a retiree from the USPS of 22 years and I know to well of the large volume of pieces of mail that the Postal Service deliverers each day and I find it hard to believe there is still a communication problem when we follow the procedures for this problem, especially when it involves health issues regarding much needed medications. read more
