Look, the USPS as a whole is inconsistent for a whole variety of reasons, but none of those reasons are this locations fault. Jolene specifically is an amazing woman and is always super kind and helpful. Over the busy holidays I had two letters get lost and appearantly they ended up at this location, and Jolene was a huge life saver!! She was able to find both of them and sent a call saying they could be picked up!! The lines can be long sometimes but they always are moving pretty quickly. Parkings easy enough to get in and out of and theres multiple neighborhood signs helping you find the post office. I prefer this location over the Santa clara post office. read more

After having two big pot holes in the driveways, they finally fixed them. Front is weed city with scrubs that look third world along with a dead tree on the north side of the property! Facility is generally clean. I constantly get somebody else's Mail who has a PO Box two numbers from mine. Constantly!! They usually have one or two people at the front desk, so showing up at the wrong time can mean one heck of a wait. I stopped here today to drop off a package and buy some stamps. I had already paid for the label and just needed to print it, which I used the self-service kiosk for. The process was quick and easy. I then got in line to drop off my package and get some stamps. There were four people in front of me and two people working the desk, so the line moved pretty quickly. The employee I worked with was nice and fast. She took my package and got me the five sheets of stamps that I needed. The parking lot for this post office is huge, so you should never have issues finding a spot. I went around 10am and it was pretty empty, which surprised me given it's the holiday season. A lot of the reviews here are for general mail service - people complaining about their delivery or the mail carriers themselves. Y'all realize they aren't necessarily coming from this specific post office right?? Most of them are dispatched by the River Rd post office because that's the main hub for Eugene. This post office itself is good. The employees are nice and do their jobs well. The space is clean. There is ample parking. I will be using this post office for any and all shipping needs in the future. read more

The only number I have for this PO is the national toll-free line, a joke. There is no way to tell them about this other than walking in during COVID. They just closed anyway. The delivery drivers here are utter garbage. They're either stealing packages, or so bitter about their jobs that a developmentally delayed chimpanzee would be an improvement. Multiple times they've lied and said they attempted delivery when they never did. Funny how the small cheap things always make it but the big and more costly don't. read more

As far as post offices go, I'm pretty happy at this location. It is often busy with a line but the employees keep it moving. There's usually a worker who will come over and pull people out of line if they only have a flat rate box. They seem to be able to accommodate different transactions at different registers. Flat rate seems to be taken at every register. Employees are friendly enough and always have an answer for my questions. I've never had a problem at this location and I'm a bit surprised to see just how bad several reviews are. Side note ... stamps and cost of shipping just increased. Not a dig at this post office. Saturday I received two packages, one was placed in the locker and other was crammed in the mail slot. I went into the local post office to complain and told that it was perfectly fine to cramm the packages in the tiny slots as long as it fits, so wadding them up and cramming them is ok by them, never mind the fact I bloodied my knuckles and tore the package trying to get it out. What upset me the most was that the worker put the other package in the large locker, which no sense to me, obviously it does to them. Tynn street post office the normal carrier is wonderful...but when he's on vacation the help replacing him is a brain dead disaster....package delivery is left unlocked, or stolen, or even delivered to the wrong person, or lost....I've talked with them many times.....and asked HOW HARD IS IT !....it's hard when you spend hard earned money....and then you have to worry if it will make it to your HIGH SECURITY MAIL BOX....that we spent $1200 on and installed ourselves... Maybe this is being petty but my old post office would tape up the top of your box for you no big deal. This one I had to pay for an entire roll of packaging tape, or I could "take my package home, tape it up there, and bring it back the next day." Ok sure after waiting forever in line to get this package mailed off that sounds like a reasonable plan. Then the lady stood there and started to criticize how I was taping up my package. Really? Horrible mail carrier. She drives a yellow jeep and wont bring your packages. She often doesn't even load them on the truck. We have watched her drop the PINK SLIP in our box pre filled out. Says we are not home when we are. We have watched her drive by without even stopping. Many complaints but they do nothing about it. The USPS is a waste of time. They don't care to be good at what they do. UPS and Fed EX are awesome. How come the USPS is sooooo bad. Don't they receive subsidy from our tax dollars. read more

Every time I come to this post office it looks like it is abandoned except for when it's overly busy. The exterior could use a little manicuring to make it look like it's not the ghetto. Every time I interact with someone behind the counter they have either just come out of a really bad relationship or they're over stressed or overworked. I tried to use the parcel drop door and it was jammed so I read a sign that said to press a button next to the blue door to let them know... well the button is covered and locked so there's no button To push. so I went over to the counter to let one of the USPS employees know and he looked very put out that I was telling him about the door and barely made eye contact held his hand up as if to block his view of me to talk to someone in line. I wish you guys could have more help or hire more people so that every time I come in they aren't so stressed out that it gives the VIBE of negativity every single visit. Mail carrier is a liar. They said couldn't deliver package cause they couldn't get to my location. WHAT? Obvious this person is way to lazy to walk up the stairs to my apartment, or too dumb to find the package boxes right at the entrance where we park. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went into this location today to simply send out two packages and what I witnessed made me furious. This very kind older women went up to be helped but stood back and asked the employee named Tim if he would please put his mask up over his nose. He then very aggressively responded "what are you the mask police?" I was shocked that this employee was speaking to this woman in such a horrible manner when she very kindly asked him to wear his mask properly which is MANDATED BY LAW. I then told him that it wasn't okay that he was speaking to her in that way. And he responded "excuse me?" as if he was appalled that I would dare say anything. She then told the man she would feel more comfortable waiting for the other worker to help her and he responded "fine if you want to wait a long time". How dare an employee speak to a nice customer in such a manner. I then asked for his name and to speak to a manager. While waiting he just glared and made snide comments to other customers. The manager was not helpful and barely responded. She looked at us like ok ok ok I hear you but I don't really care. I am appalled at the behavior. Tim is a gross human being and needs a little dose of reality. We are in the middle of a pandemic and someone asked you kindly to follow the mandated by law mask rule and you had the audacity to be so rude. read more

This is a surprisingly large post office, when I went in it was nearly empty and the line was quite short. Tons of parking.

I recently signed up for Amazon Prime. The first package that was supposed to be delivered on a Sunday was marked as delivered by the postman, but had NOT been delivered. I had to get a replacement. Today, I was expecting another Sunday delivery, and guess what? Again, the package was marked as delivered, but in truth had not been. I watched for the van, which did not drive through our area (I live in a manufactured home park). Called the postmaster, and I'll have to wait for him to investigate before I get a callback. Also, I'll need to wait 3 days before Amazon will replace the item. This sucks because I needed the item for Christmas eve, and it was the last one in the color and size that I needed. So now, I'll have to wait even longer to get a replacement. But the clincher is that the delivery guy lied about delivery. Hope you like the stuff I paid for. read more
