I never have any trouble at the USPS physical location and appreciate all the people that work there. This is about our package delivery. Packages are literally stuffed in our mailbox whether they fit or not. If they can't leave them at the door, I would rather pick them up on McCulloch. This time it was a gift and a graduation card. I've been in Havasu for 31 years. And in general, whether it's regarding delivery of mail/pkgs, or in the actual office my experience has been less than positive. HOWEVER, I have been having issues with undeliverable mail as of late. I reluctantly phoned the Havasu Post Office and was helped by a young man by the name of Logan. This was the first time in 31 years that I hadn't hung up the phone feeling disgruntled with our Post office. Logan helped me resolve my problem and was good natured while doing so. Thanks Logan! This post office has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The employees at the service desk are nice and informative. However, I've had a PO Box at the McCulloch location for over ten years. They are frequently putting my mail in other customers boxes, and likewise I receive mail in my box which belongs to others. I've brought this up with the person who seems to be in charge, each time she has little interest or seems annoyed that I brought it to her attention. read more

We were vacationing in LHC and the only thing I bought for my friends were postcards. Sorry guys I'm not buying anyone anything but a postcard. Been living in havasu two years. Multiple times we got notified by amazon our package has been delivered. But there is no package. Each time we go to the post office and they have to back track and find they delivered to wrong address. This has happened several times now. Im sorry but the job aint that hard! Who the heck EVER hired Athena? What terrible customer service, POOR people skills, and the lady even scolded an employee in front of me and another customer standing in line. I had a question and the employee went to the back to what I assume was ask, Athena was walking through the door and told the employee "don't come at me with stupid questions, hurry up" IMAGINE MY SHOCK! I found out she was a supervisor when the employee came back. She looked like she was going to cry! For gods sake, fire the damn lady! OMG. put my outgoing mail out yesterday morning. At 4:28 pm, the driver comes, and delivers a package, and did not pick up my outgoing. 1. the flag was up. 2. he parked right in front of the mailbox, and then proceeded to walk all thru the yard. I've told them a million times where to put packages!!! What is wrong with these people???? Needless to say, my outgoing sat out there all night, and is still sitting there thank goodness!! read more

Called to inquire about starting mail service to a newly constructed house that has never had service before. Call was answered on the first ring and the gentleman was very polite and helpful. He was able to start my mail service immediately right over the phone. An excellent experience. read more

Is it even worth it to rate the USPS? They are absolutely terrible. The service is God-awful and it makes you not feel as bad when you hear rumors of postal employees losing their jobs. If they act like these guys, then I'm sure there are better quality candidates out there! I complained a few times about my "signature required" mail not being delivered. I would see my postal delivery person just stick the "card" in the box and keep driving. I would go out to my box and it was one of those cards that said, "we attempted to deliver your item, but you weren't home..." WTF?! Are you kidding me? I just saw the guy drive off! I complained and you know what I was told? "We get paid the same whether we work 4 hours a day or 10, therefore, we all try to get done as soon as possible so we can go home early". Seriously? Really? You've got to be kidding me. This is why the USPS needs a complete overhaul. That kind of mentality of employee needs to be reminded of what it's like to be UNemployed. read more

My mail lady refuses to ring my doorbell when walking up to my porch to deliver my packages! I have called and complained about this and she still does it. The worst mail person I have ever had. I mean you are already walking to my porch just ring the doorbell! Their entrance doors are horrible. They weigh hundred pounds unless you want to wait for the handicap buttons to open it slowly. Please get your automatic sensor to work! Also there is absolutely no automated services/kiosk after hours. And the other complaint is the fact that there is no after hours drop box as well for larger packages. This is the most outdated post office I've ever been to. There are young people that live in the town here that do need to conduct business as well. read more

The workers in the PO are nice, but outside of that, it's the worst I've ever seen and the Postmaster doesn't seem to care. I picked up our mail from a 'hold' and found the mail for 10 people in my bundle of mail. In my rural area, the Postmaster refuses to put a regular carrier to service our mailboxes, so mail arrives anywhere from 0800-1700 and we are consistently getting mail from other neighbors and packages are lost. While my wife and six year old son was waiting in line he had to go to the bathroom the lady at the desk said no you should potty train him. This is the second time this lady who is working the counter has been rude and unhelpful to my wife when asked to use a pen she explained that the US POST OFFICE doesn't supply pens to the public. Tonight we watched the mail truck drive by. The person delivering put one package from Amazon in our mailbox. The other one was larger (would have required a walk up our driveway) so they recorded it as "attempted delivery" with Amazon. That's a lie and now I have to go pick it up at the post office. The delivery drivers are skidding up to the mail boxes causing deep ruts in the gravel! I have pictures! I have seen skid marks on my neighbors driveway which is about 10 feet away, have pictures of that also. I have lived here for 45+ years and never had this problem! Wanted to speak with Debbie (Postmaster) but spoke with the useless supervisor! Was told to put pavers down! I've seen pavers torn up too, from the bad driving! If they are skidding, do they need new brakes?, or just driving too fast?! We need a solution to stop this immediately! Debbie - please speak with all your drivers! I think they have the worst customer service That I have ever recieved.I was expecting a package on 3-1 , The mail carrier left a notice in my mail box instead of knocking on my door to sign for it.The following day I called the 800 number to have them redeliver it on 3-3 I was given a confo # and it was confirmed that it would be redelivered 3-3 . On 3-3 I stayed home all day ,so that I would be home to sign for it, 5pm came , and the mail carrier did not redeliver it. I called the 800 number back and told them that I would be in to the post office on 3-4 to pick up the package. I waited in line for 30 min.and when It was finally my turn in line,and I explained to the clerk what I was there for and gave the clerk my new confo # ,She advised me that the confo number is useless to them.She returned 10 min later and told me they were looking for my package. another 10 minutes goes by and the post master VERY rudely informed me ,that I had already signed and picked up my package the day before???????? I called him on it and said that was total BS!! I also told him I was not freaken crazy !! that I absolutely did not pick up my package , nor was it ever delivered.!! Needless to say when I arrived home this afternoon ,it was on my door step..... I always have bad experiences when I have to go to this post office.I am disabled and can not tolerate standing for longer than 5 minutes w/o being in extreme pain.They need a number system ,like other big post offices have,so that the handicap have a place to sit while waiting for their turn in line. After this last experience that I recieved today , I will no longer EVER go to that post office again!! they lie and then have the nerve to try blaming you for their mistakes and insinuate that you the customer area liar and crazy!!
