I have complained before, but nothing ever seems to come from it; almost once a month there is at least one bill I never receive, and last month it was yours. They seem to have great service inside their local office, and I and I hear they are stellar at passport services, but they can't seem to deliver a letter to my apartment complex's mailbox center to save their lives. I recieved this month's bill and realized that I had never received last months. I spoke with one of your customer reps, and because my payment history was otherwise spotless, she agreed to drop the late charge, but I will still need to pay the interest (I don't mind, it was minimal in this instance). So, my thanks to you for that. Just to shoot the breeze on another recent experience, a package I ordered back in March never arrived, but when I emailed the company they told me that the package had been returned to them as having an incomplete address. Apprrently they had to destroy the item that was returned, and create it again to be remailed to me. (Me and the internet, I will double-check the next time I place an online order to be certain that I am getting trackable shipping.) I actually stopped by the office yesterday, and the counter rep said the shipping shouldn't take more that seven days for a package that size. I expect to see it in my mailbox by this coming Saturday. And the office was sold out of Betty White stamps.

After two weeks realized my mail was not being picked up. I told the apartment complex, wherein they told the mailman and his response was "how is he to know if he can't see it" so he continued NOT to pick it up. I called the post office and they said they would let the post master know. Still they did not pick up. I finally was forced to get my mail out and take up to the post office and asked the post master to call me. He did and he by far is the RUDEST person EVER. He met me at the apartment complex so I could physically show him the outgoing mail (because he couldn't understand what I was talking about over the phone)...guess he didn't realize that I had gotten my mail out already and proceeded to tell me I wasted his time and that it was common sense not to put mail in the outgoing mail slots that didn't have residents assigned to those mail boxes (attached to those outgoing mail slots). How am I (a resident) to know what mail boxes are assigned and which ones aren't. I told him I would report this and his response "please do".

Whenever I would get a time sensitive, or important mail or package... he would give me a personal call to notify me... It was amazing how he was always on top of everything... When everything in my business demanded my attention to the point that I felt like I was drowning, it was so such a relief for me to know that this was one department that I did not have to worry about... I've always wondered how he handled everything so well just by himself, but he never skipped a beat... and this meant that everything in my business was timely -- from the proper filing and maintaining of licenses to handling customer refunds and returns.. Ever always so cheerful and upbeat, he made an otherwise dreadful errand a lovely and welcoming experience.. Now if every other business out there could give their customers the same individual attention and personal touch that Joe was able to extend to his customers, everybody would be happy, nobody would miss any of their deadlines or overlook anything important and the world would be a better place

I have had plenty of problems with the Carrollton US Post Office on Josey Lane over the years. But…read morelet me warn you about another way for them to pull the rug out from under you. We've used medium sized Priority Mail boxes for years because we could depend on the fixed price for shipping the box, regardless of the weight. Sure, the rate goes up nearly every year. You can depend on that, too, but the current fixed rate is $21.95 with delivery in 2 to 3 days (or maybe 3 weeks since they sometimes miss the target). We picked up a few boxes, from the lobby, at the same place the post office staff makes them available. We did the addressing, filled it up and asked a friend to take it to the clerk and pay the $21.95 postage. To our surprise, the cost was $34.25 because we used the wrong medium size priority mail box. Did you know there are 2 slightly different medium size priority mail boxes that you could use? I kid you not. It could cost you an additional $12 to send it if you pick up the wrong one. We've never seen the wrong box before. Make sure the box you select has small red lettering that says "FIXED RATE" for the lower $21.95 rate. If it says "MAILING BOX" instead, you'll probably pay more, like we did ($34.25). I can't say for sure that the postal employees intentionally switched the boxes on us customers but the 2 options definitely look too much alike. We won't get fooled again.
