I have, in the past, been partial to going to this post office, because the front desk staff are always helpful and friendly. I've had an ongoing problem with my carrier for the last two years, same as everyone else, with packages being marked "delivered", and showing up 1-4 days later. I had a package that was supposed to have arrived on Monday, 3/21. It showed up on the USPS website as "in transit", until 3/28, when it was marked "undeliverable". I filed a redelivery request through the USPS website, with the instruction to "leave in mailbox", for 4/3. On 4/4, I got the FIRST AND ONLY notice, that I needed to sign for the package. On 4/5, I visited the office to pick up my package, and spoke directly with the new manager, who assured me that the late package problem had been rectified, and that he would call me regarding my "undeliverable" package. I never got a call from him, or from the supervisor, Fasha, who was assisting the manager at that time. I refiled a request to have the package held at the office on 4/6. The USPS website confirmed my request. On 4/8, I went pick up the package, and find out it was sent back to the vendor. So far, this transaction has cost my business $200 in sales and fees, and hours of time. I got annoyed and asked to speak to a supervisor, who, unfortunately, was Fasha, who told me to "calm down", and remember that the post office was a place of business. That, of course, is no way to speak to a customer. She refused to answer my questions about why I never received a call back from either her or the manager regarding my package, and refused to help me track it down. She kept repeating that I needed to calm down, and didn't even apologize for being negligent. I went home, and went back to the USPS website. I decided to see what would happen if I put in another request to hold my package at that post office. The system confirmed my request. On 4/10, I went back to the post office. There was another woman in front of me, in line, dealing with the same problem. She asked to speak with a supervisor, which, unfortunately, was Fasha, who came out of the back, made eye contact with the woman, and then walked over to help another customer, which pissed the first woman off. Both of us then asked the clerk if there was another supervisor to speak with (there wasn't), but were given a phone number and name of the morning supervisor to contact regarding our problem. Fasha then came over to "deal" with us, and took my notification paper from me. She went into the back, came out two minutes later with a print out of the tracking history for my package. It showed on 3/21 that it was marked "Undeliverable" then showed that it had been in transit for seven days. She said that I'd waited too long. I pointed out to her on the tracking history that I had made multiple attempts to have it redelivered to my house/. held at the post office - per the USPS website. She walked away and wouldn't acknowledge the truth in front of her. On the second page of the paperwork, it was marked that the reason my package was "undeliverable" is because the package was FIVE CENTS short on the cost of the postage. FIVE CENTS. I won't be using this post office again. The management are rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. I feel bad for the clerks that have to work under Fasha's supervision. read more

The staff is nice, but super slooooooooow. I came here during my lunch break to send out a package certified mail. There was barely any line around noon. This one guy and I had filled out our info wrong for our packages to be sent out and so the lady directed us on what to do. Moments later, a gang of people showed up and the line was super long. I would think since we were first and it didn't take that long to fix things that they should've asked us to come to the front of the line. Nope. Of course they wouldn't ask that. After I saw how slow they worked. Everyone was staring at them. How the heck did they pass those government exams and land these jobs? I have no idea. At least the female staff that I encountered was nice. I had messed up on one thing and she actually let me step to the side to fix it and get back in front to be helped. Well I did have to ask her because if I didn't, my ass wouldn't been late going back to work. read more

This past Saturday, I finally finished assembling my valentine's day package for my boyfriend to ship cross-country to New Jersey. I checked UPS and FedEx online to see how much it would cost to get there by Valentine's, and It was going to cost me at least around $40 to get to NJ in the PM! AM as more expensive. Last minute, I decided to just go to the post office because it was closer, and I was curious about pricing. After it was all said and done, I left paying $14 to get there one day BEFORE valentine's! making me look like the best girlfriend ever. Also I've been tracking my package online, and 1.5 days after i dropped it off its already bee processed in New Jersey. I used the automated self-shipping machine, but he USPS lady managing the line was also helpful in finding the right solution for me. SUCK IT UPS AND FEDEX especially because their employees sometimes aren't helpful at all. My package size was a medium box, all dimensions less than 12 inches each. read more

10/17/15 2 packages missing that were shipped on the 8th of October 2015 and another missing shipped early October 2015 but USPS paid on that claim. This is posted as a reference for any else missing a package and if there is mail thief there it gives USPS investigators a little bit of help. Went here today 12/5 to drop off packages. A lady I don't know if she was a manager(I KNOW THE CLERKS) was telling people to drop off packages in the bin to the left when you go towards the counter. I look and the bins are full and the package drop off receptacle is full and jammed. this troll is still standing around so i ask her where do i drop off the packages she states the same thing "in the bin". If this lazyass would off pulled the full cart and moved another into it's place rather than being a useless troll trying to supervise this place would run smoother. I've shipped 1000's of packages here and have seen all the good clerks bidout to other post offices there are a few good employees left. it amazes me that they bring in useless out of touch supervisors to run these places so poorly. it's no wonder the USPS loses money. i remember a "mega loser" of a manager there Joseph was his name he didn't give me last name because he knew i was writing a letter to the USPS because of his incompetence. What is with the employee 'tude in this place??? I was in a hurry and just wanted to nip in quickly to mail a package this afternoon, no muss, no fuss. However, there was some female employee sitting on the sidelines, directing traffic or whatever, except that there wasn't any traffic, just me and a few other customers. She may have said something to me, but I was so focused on getting in there and filling out my delivery confirmation form that I wasn't paying attention. And then she must have thought I had "dissed" her because she decided to get right in my business, demanding, "Was that intentional?" When I confusedly asked, "What?" she yelled, "Oh, are you talking to me?" And she kept repeating it. WTF??? So if I don't respond immediately because I'm preoccupied or whatever, I have to be harassed for it? This is customer service? The cherry on the top was that there were only two employees working behind the desk (and taking of plenty of time with their respective customers, too), while Ms. Are You Talking To Me was sitting there basically doing sod-all. So I had to stand there and wait, wondering why the hell Ms. Thing wasn't helping make things, you know, efficient by working behind the counter where the customers actually need you. after waiting in line for about 50 minutes for a passport- I walk into the room- And what am I greated with? Immediate attitude! so do you have your paperwork and picture? No, I say, Dont you guys do the photo? Our photo machine is out. Its funny how they talk to you like you should have known it was out. When I called this morning to confirm they were doing passports nobody mentined the camera was out. Also they dont take credit cards for payment on passports. Things like this are handy to know postal people! while I waited in line for those 50 minutes all I watched and heard was the workers scolding customers- Sir, If you dont know what your doing....bla bla bla--- this post office is not one I would recommend if you want to receive good customer service or at least a smile. read more

This is the worst Post Office ever...(review from a former USPS mail carrier living in the Motor office delivery zip) : They have stolen and lost packages for years. My father, a postmaster in another city used to send me everything fully taped, all the edges of every card and box and use FedEx or UPS for anything important. I now have to ask people not to send me things at this address because I likely won't get it. I tried having my family use "signature confirmation"on everything after explaining the horror that is this route/carrier. Even that didn't work to ensure me getting my packages. I asked the carrier about a package that was "signed" for by nobody at my house and wanted to know where the package was. She said they didn't even have 3849 forms at that office. I used to be a mail carrier. A 3849 is the holy grail pink/peach colored slip that all signatures must be on to leave or deliver a package with signature confirmation. You literally can't get through the day without a stack of those as a mail carrier. She said they didn't have them...therefore they didn't have anything for people to sign for deliveries. Basically... that means they were faking the signatures..which would legally be committing fraud. Fraudulent deliveries...and fraudulent signing of signatures. I worked for a post office where my co-worker was arrested for stealing gift cards from his route. This office is stealing and/or losing packages and they just get away with it? Come on Postal Inspectors....you could have a whole slew of you employed for years just watching this office and it's carriers. This is my first Yelp review. I don't usually take time to complain online or write reviews. I just feel so frustrated and betrayed by this office I'm not sure how to get them to listen. read more

These guys are awesome! They go out of the way to help you out. They even helped me carry all the packages from my car because there were too many! For all the negative feedback folks - don't just give a negative review without a specific instance/event to support your claims with. These guys work so hard and sometimes just having a smile and sincerely saying thank you can brighten their day! read more

Definitely don't understand what all these poor reviews are about. I love this post office and the people who work here are SO helpful and kind. I'm a dingaling when it comes to shipping this and these employees are always patient and help me get it all sorted! Some of the other Yelpers seem to have had awful experiences. I've only been in here 5 times or so, but every time has been stellar. I always expect the stereotypical disgruntled, ineffective postal worker, but I've never seen one here. They move people through quickly, and are really helpful. Great parking! Although depending on the day, the wait time can be over 15 minutes for one on one service. The employees have an attitude problem but I'm guess its just the culture. Whatever. I am giving this post office 3 stars, because in general the service is decent. You have to stand in line for a little while usually, but I have not had an problems with the workers at the counter. I do NOT recommend going here for passport issues, however, as today I spent 15 minutes getting yelled at by the very unfriendly passport agent for no good reason. I was simply there to get my passport renewed and kindly explained that and asked for the right information. The agent gave me a disgusted look and very quickly and angrily rambled off a few few questions, like if I had the photos I needed. I said "no" and, seemingly annoyed by my answer, she snapped back that I had to go up the street to get those. She finally told me I needed to fill out "that" application over "there". Well, there were 3 different applications, so I was reading what they were for and she yelled at me to take the "gold" one. It seemed to me that the gold one was for new passports, so I asked if maybe I needed to fill out the one that said "passport renewal". She yelled again and told me that one was only if I met the requirements listed "there". I looked around and could not find any list of requirements. I explained my situation again politely and she continued to yell at me for a while before I was so confused and frustrated that I decided to leave. She treated the other 3 people there with me the same way. I have since discovered that I can renew my passport by mail. May take more time, but at least I don't have to deal with someone screaming at me and not giving me the proper information. read more

I don't usually write yelp reviews unless I'm really annoyed! This place suxx every time I come in here and it's a shame because they are walking distance from me. They always look miserable, no eye contact and always look like your bothering them. Only person who is always nice and helpful when I come in is this older man who's always on the floor asking if you need any help. I waited ten minutes for a guy to find a certified envelope and I watched him walking back and forth looking and I was on a time crunch and wasn't going to wait any longer he obviously couldn't find it. I asked the lady at the front if she could go and tell him Never mind and to give my pink slip back and she flat out said no I can't leave my desk. Lady you can easily finish helping out your guest get off your ass and walk 10 sec to where the guy was right behind her on the other side of the wall. He comes out and says I can't find it, Like clearly I've been waiting! I'm just going to call customer service! The notice was Also dated 3 days ago and I just received it in my mailbox yesterday. I walked in to the post office this morning and had to wait in line for 20 minutes, due to very slow staff. I was sending 5 big boxes overseas and when it was finally my turn, the USPS employee started screaming at me that I threw boxes on her (please be aware that there was not throwing of boxes, one just slid forward about 1 inch). She continued screaming at me, telling me that my attitude was terrible and that in fact she was "done with me". She proceeded telling me that I had to tear off the tape on my box, because sending priority would be expensive. She never asked me if I actually wanted to send it priority. She demanded that I buy their tape (even though I had no need for it). She was rude and hysterical, screaming that I had a bad attitude. I was so surprised about this behavior. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me she wouldn't tell me anything more, pushed me out of the way, and told me to leave. It really doesn't matter who you are, what you do for a living, or how you were raised, THAT behavior should be penalized. How is this person (Nora) allowed to work anywhere? This is harassment and a lawsuit waiting to happen. Stay far away from the lady, she has severe anger management issues!! read more

I truly appreciate that most of the staff at this Post Office are fast, efficient, polite and helpful. I ship eBay packages at least 3 or 4 times a week and, so far, they have never lost a package and everything arrives intact. Like all Post Offices, they are severely understaffed and the line is often slow moving and out the door no matter how efficient the workers are.. Parking lot is sometimes full but I never have to wait too long to find a space. Just expect to spend 10 or 15 minutes in line and that way you will be happy if it takes less time. read more

I come here at least once one every two weeks or once a week to mail packages to my husband in Afghanistan. Everyone here is helpful and sincere. One of the older ladies even gave me advise about being optimistic, because sometimes I find myself worrying way too much about his safety. She really made my day. And when I first came and had no idea about boxing or shipments, I was helped without any kind of attitude. Everyone here is friendly. At 6:45AM one of the "gentlemen" at the post office thinks it is appropriate to BLAST his music from his car and just sit there until he feels like going into a work. I am a neighbor and I have seen him and a couple of his coworkers standing with him and talking like he is on break in the middle of the afternoon. On at least 5 occasions, he has woken me up. His supervisors need to tell him to have some respect for the people that live in the neighborhood. Otherwise, the people that work here are friendly and do their job well. I think most of the people who say that they have an attitude may not be overtly racist, but it is a term that people often use to refer to black postal workers, regardless of whether the workers are being mean to them or not. Very slow counter clerks, too chatty with customers (preventing things from moving along) and, in terms of mail delivery to business - good luck getting your mail if your regular carrier is off. It could come after businesses in the building are closed OR not at all. If I need something, I never to stand in the line as I grow weary and cross. I try to go when there is little likelihood that anyone will be in line. I order supplies online as their supplies are always woefully lacking. All in all, it needs a real supervisor to take the reigns and whip the place into shape - at least into the shape of a poorly run private business!! Such a shame that the facility is very poorly staffed and managed! Worse, no on working there seems to care at all. read more

This post office routinely "loses" my packages or fails to actually give me the package. I came with a package slip to pick up some mail and was refused my package because of a technicality with how my name on the package was spelled (it was a gift from a relative). I even authorized myself to pick up my own package but that was still not good enough for this post office. They told me to reschedule the delivery online and I did it 4 times and never got my package. I made several calls to the USPS toll number and each time the operator was just as confused as I was on why this package was not being tracked or delivered or even given to me. I even tried to call this branch and speak to the manager but they never picked up their phone. Eventually, I authorized my friend to pick up my package instead and lo and behold, it had been there the entire time. I don't know if it's there a breakdown between this post office branch and the USPS system or this branch just doesn't care but this isn't the first instance this has happened and I'm sure it won't be the last. read more

I hate hate hate USPS. Their Stupid Tracking System and everything else with it. On their tracking system it says package delivered but I haven't received the package yet. When I call they say we have delivered the package and we don't know what happened to the package. on the second package it says "Electronic Shipping Info Received" for the last 7 days!!! no updates so far, no packages, NOTHING. UPS delivery is suspect. For the past year, internet orders (Amazon, etc) are not delivered. Instead, no delivery slip, nothing. Latest order documented as delivered when not. I have learned once I make an online order and if not having received the order in the appropriate timeline, to go directly to the Palms station with proper I.D. and sure enough it is there in the back room. read more

this office is always crowded, with only couple of workers or even one behind the counter. However, I never had a problem until recently I went there.They've got a new worker, a black woman, late 20th-early 30th. I am giving this description because I do not know her name and not sure she was wearing a name tag. All I needed was to ask her why my package I've sent to Europe has been routed to Canada and eventually returned to me in almost two months. it should have gone to NY and then directly to Europe. USPS obliviously made a mistake that cost me money and time. This woman did not care, did not want/try to help. She was INCOMPETENT, DISMISSING and RUDE. My impression was that she was enjoying my dismay, she has definitely ruined my day. Hopefully, next time I go there she is not there anymore. If she still is I would skip my turn if she is the next one available. read more

The collective competency level of the employees at this post office is about ten digits to the right of the decimal point (following all zeroes). It seems every time I call to complain about my mailman (screw PC), he/she is on vacation and a substitute has taken over their route. EVERY TIME! My local carriers (including substitutes) are the LAZIEST people on the planet. They NEVER leave delivery notices when I'm not there to receive a package and, then, they LIE about "notice left" in their scans. And, when I am home, they NEVER knock on my door, then LIE about "No Authorized Recipient Available" in their scans. By the way, my apartment is on the second floor, so there are only three very short sets of steps leading up to it. Yes, I understand the carriers have a lot of homes on their route, but isn't it their job to DELIVER THE MAIL? Whenever I call, I have to wait through, at least, (no kidding or exaggeration) 30 rings before someone actually answers the phone. And, every time, it's a different BS story. This time, the delivery supervisor informed me that my apartment complex has not been receiving mail for the past 2-3 days, because the carrier cannot gain access to our building. REALLY? Suddenly, they have no access. After decades of delivering mail to our address? Nothing has changed. My front gate key is the same key that I've been using since I moved into the complex in 1995. The mailboxes are in the same exact location, just inside the front gate. We received mail earlier in the week, so this just sounds like so much BS and INCOMPETENCY. Also, why has it become MY RESPONSIBILITY to notify the apartment manager? Why can't the post office contact them or arrange for building access as, I assume, they have done in the past? How did they ever gain access in the first place, or has my mail just been magically appearing in (or, rather, disappearing from) my mailbox for the past 20 years? After relaying the above story to someone else, they suggested that I'm being given the runaround, a typical ploy that I had already assumed from my conversation with the delivery supervisor, Lizzie. Seriously, they can't access our mailboxes, but they won't bother to contact the apartment management; they won't bother to notify anyone in the building (i.e. a note on the gate would suffice); they expect someone else to do their job for them. Well, I think they should provide me with a percentage of their paycheck, since I'm doing their job for them. Better yet, did I hear the words "CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT"? And they wonder why I never tip them at Xmas. read more

Totally appalled by this place. I really wanted to give them a shot because I hear how the post office has been struggling with business. While I understand why. Long story short I sold something on eBay for about $300. It cost me $62 to ship I went into this post office said I've never shipped anything like this before, do I need a label or anything and the clerk handed me a marker and told me to write the address on the package. Well somehow my package got lost. I did have the tracking number and it first I didn't think it was a big deal so after 2-3 days I check the package. Well it said it had an insufficient address when I clearly wrote the address paid for everything and confirmed where it was being shipped to. So after a few days of every day constantly calling the post office or going in they said they don't know where the package was. I kept in good contact with the seller but he did not believe me so he decided to take his money back. Well it took about 16 days to finally find out where my package was and then I finally got my package back. This is so screwed up because of the fault of this post office I lost out on the sale and the $62 I had to pay for shipping down the block and back. Not only was I mad I lost a sale but I thought the least they could do is refund my money for not doing anything with the package or helping. Well I tried to get a refund and was told sorry. The people that work there were so rude and they didn't give a crap about their customers. With customer service like that I will never go there again if I have to pay the extra money I'll go to UPS instead. Seriously the least they could of done was refund the shipping. The post office is getto and they don't give a crap about there customers. There just collecting paychecks working at a Minimal speed and wasting ours tax dollars. So pist at this place. read more

The post office itself is whatever, Im here to complain about the mail carriers in this area. There is not a day where i go out to my mailbox and expect my mail to be neatly placed inside. No, instead my mail is LITERALLY in a ball, shoved in my mailbox. It seriously looks like the mail man gathers all my mail, balls it up in their hands and puts it in. Its very agravating, especially when they are destroying important documents like insurance cards, and my cars registrarion (which didnt even end up in my mail box, but was instead just laying on the ground in a ball) WTH are they doing??!! And instead of cramming packages that CLEARLY will not fit in the box, how about you walk your butt the 10 steps to my door and place it on the steps. Terrible Post Office. I am constantly getting delayed deliveries or no deliveries at all some days. The people working there are incredibly unhelpful and rude. This place is a prime example of why USPS shouldn't even exist anymore. Any other delivery service I have used is better. I'm so disappointed and can't do anything about it. WORST POST OFFICE EVER! I was supposed to received a pack on a Monday but the mailman never came. So the next day I tracked my package and it said that the mailman tried to deliver it but the business was closed. I don't get why they deliver so late the message said tried to drop it off but no one was here. The time the mailman put was 8:39 pm I didn't know the post office open that late. The next day came it was closing time 8 o'clock pm so I decided to wait for the mailman I waited till 9:30 pm and never showed up. So I tracked my package once again the message the mailman left was "No secure location available" and the time that the mailman put down was 5:07 pm. WE ARE STILL OPEN! Now today's Saturday I went to the post office to ask them what's going on with my package the said that the regular mailman is on vacation and that one person is doing two routes.
