USPS told me that the problem was because postage wasn't paid and that my issue was local. They have said this about a number of issues I have had with this post office (40 percent package failure rate). They also messed with the delivery of my wife's wedding dress. She had nothing to wear on her own wedding day. During the exchange the manager told me that maybe my failure rate wouldn't be so bad if I had a better attitude. He basically ADMITTED to either knowing who is messing with my mail or has a hand in it directly. That is the only reason you would say something like that. Mail tempering is a federal offense, and the process of getting anything done about it is very long and hard. Besides that, several other employees have also just completely checked out. If you are looking for a cheaper option, they will just not mention more efficient ways of doing things. Then get all pissy when you ask them to back up and do it the right way.

I think they could pack eggs and have them show up unbroken 3,000 miles later. They partner with Yellow Freight which brings the cost to half of what other shippers charge (who use various mail services). When Yellow Freight forgot to scan the four handmade box crates in Chicago (apparently quite unusual) and we weren't sure where they were, Scott offered to call Yellow Freight and described the crates so that could be more easily found. Everything arrived in perfect order and the boxes & inserts that Scott made were amazing. This is a family business, run by Scott and his wife, and they care about what they do. It shows.
