When I mentioned the discrepancy, I was told prices had changed, though the signage hadn't been updated yet. I understand prices can increase, but I believe there may be legal requirements about charging the displayed price. On my second visit, the same mailer was over $5, and I noticed pricing was no longer displayed at all. Most recently, I was charged $11 for a small roll of packing tape, which seems significantly higher than the $3-4 I've seen at other retailers. I appreciate the convenience this location has offered, but without clear pricing displayed and with costs being considerably higher than alternatives, I'll likely need to explore other shipping options going forward. It was supposed to arrive near the San Francisco area, but somehow ended up all the way out at a UPS drop off point in Half Moon Bay. I thought to myself, "Not again." This wasn't UPS's first time losing one of my packages, and dealing with the UPS call center can be a total headache where you're treated as another number. Out of desperation, I called the UPS Store in Half Moon Bay for assistance to help me find my package, which was not even at their location. With the help of two employees (I believe it was David and the owner Carlos), David was able to retrieve my missing package and Carlos re-shipped it to the right address. Words couldn't express how thankful and grateful I was, and I couldn't even hold back my tears because of how important that package was as well as the child that received it. All I can say is, they really went above and beyond. Thank you so much, UPS Half Moon Bay team!

Confident in that information, I walked into the store to open a mailbox. Unfortunately, I was met with the most unprofessional and rude service I've ever experienced. A staff member named Shan (or Sean) interrupted me mid-sentence when I tried to explain the offer and flat out denied the promotion. I let him know that I spoke to someone on the phone who confirmed it, and instead of helping or clarifying, he dismissively said it wasn't valid at their store. Even after I showed him a QR code from the Millbrae location referencing the promotion, he arrogantly said it was "incorrect" and offered no further assistance. I asked to speak to a manager, and he told me the manager wasn't in. When I asked for the contact number, he gave me a fake phone number. Completely unacceptable. I walked in simply wanting to open a PO box -- not to be belittled or made to feel uncomfortable.
