I'm killing time by writing this review as I stand in line at this post office for the 2nd time…read morethis week. A few days ago I missed an hour of work to stand in this line because after waiting 5 months, and paying $40 to get a key to my mailbox at the apartment I moved into 5 months ago, they finally called me and told me they had a key. When I asked the man behind the counter if he could check to see if he had any mail for me he said "no. It will be in your mailbox." Upon returning to my apartment I searched the wall of US Post Office boxes but there was not one labeled with my unit number. I used the key I was given to attempt to open any box, and finally it worked in one, but it was labeled with a different unit number. I left a note for the postal carrier asking if they could leave my mail in this box because that was the key I was given, but no mail has been left for me. I've been expecting something that was mailed to me over a week ago, so here I stand again in this horrendous line hoping someone can give me some answers or at least give me my mail. This is insane. I would like to think something can be done, but since I'm seeing complaints from over 10 years ago on here I guess there is nothing we can do except accept that it sucks and they absolutely do not care about us or our mail.

I need to start by saying I work in the service industry and never thought I'd see myself making a…read moreYelp review. That should be all you need to know about how bad this post office is. For anyone who needs more assurance, here is a nice two-paragraph summary. The passport guy sucks. I came in for an appointment and he refused to see me. After I was refused for my appointment, it took ten tries calling the office to get an answer. I was told on the phone that this location does passports, meaning they straight up lied to my face about not having my appointment. After I got a date confirmed on the phone to do my passport, the appointment dates on the website changed to no longer be available. I had two tabs open on my computer and saw the dates change. In short, this little charmer has been doing anything and everything to avoid my appointment. IDK if this is a consistent theme of his or not, but I'm going to have to assume so based on the way two different people in the front office were able to lie about services provided without skipping a beat. To be fair they were training new employees so I could have seen them at their worst. That doesn't give you the green light to lie about my confirmed appointment if you had just gave me a call saying we need to reschedule everything would have been chill.

Like many others I would not give this post office any stars at all. They are chronically…read moreunderstaffed, customer service appalling and everything is chaotic. I went to pick up mail from my box last week only to find it locked. Come to find out they are pulling down that particular bank of PO Boxes to make room for something else. They have assigned me another box which is also locked, and say it needs to be rekeyed but there is no locksmith to do it. They have no idea when I can receive mail again!!!

We're a small business in Nevada, and we had a customer order a large item from us. We shipped it USPS because it was the cheapest option, and the online system had no problem with the address we provided for shipment, and USPS took our money. Today, we were notified that USPS doesn't deliver to that address (no reason given, and it's literally a mile from the Post Office). I called the office in Aspen and was told "it's an area we don't deliver to, and it's being returned to you". I asked why and was not given a legitimate reason, nor was there any explanation why if they don't deliver there, they accepted the address when shipped without question. They could have held the item at the post office and asked the customer to pick it up, which they would happily have done. Instead, it was immediately shipped back to us with no mention of a refund for taking it when they know they don't deliver there. We usually ship FedEx, and if we ever enter an address they don't deliver to, they inform us of that before accepting the delivery. So now our customer is not getting the package on time, and we're out the shipping with no explanation. From now on, we will ONLY ship FedEx or UPS. I would give zero stars here if that was possible.
