I'm a snail mail nerd! I make a point of checking out post offices near me. I love to go and peruse the new stamps and buy way too many. There's not really a thing as too many stamps though. This USPS was close by and had ample parking. The place was always well stocked with greeting cards and decorative padded envelopes. The staff were great and communicative and helpful and so friendly. I enjoyed making trips to this USPS for the shipping and mailing needs I had. read more

Despite the line snaking almost out the door (about 15 people in front of me), the three employees at the service counter were working efficiently and seemed in good spirits. I was in and out in 15 minutes with no major delays or troubles. This location also has a DIY kiosk in the lobby accessible at all times. read more

They never answer the phone during business hours. Today was the worst they answered & hung up after it had rang for 15min. Ridiculous!

The staff is friendly if you know what you're doing and are prepared. The lines can be long and there's no good spot to skip the line and have your packages dumped if they are prepaid with a scan form. read more

I went there today to buy 1000 stamps or how ever many they had for a postcards and the old lady working the counter with the bad eye liner on refused to sell me what she had, she didn't have 1000 but she did have about 500-600 but because it was 5:50 pm (and she gets off at 6:00pm) she told me, "I don't have time to sell them to you, I can sell you 100 because there are 3 people behind you I have to help and I want to get out of here on time. I have to be here at 6am tomorrow morning, you can come back then". I was there now, I waited my turn and left because I didn't want to make a scene. This old bat had the nerve to tell me to come back tomorrow when I was standing right in front of her ready to do business. It would have taken her 30 seconds to count out the sheets of stamps. Worst post office I've ever been to, trish behind the counter needed an attitude adjustment. A few days before Christmas and she in there acting like the grinch. I even told her to have a good Christmas after she was being extreme rude to me and the person in front of me in line, she gave me this go to hell look after I said it too. This Post Office is a joke. Me and my wife have lived at our current address for more than 4 years now and STILL the Post Office mis-delivers our mail several times a week. Either our mail goes to a neighbor with a similar address, or we get their mail. No matter how many times we tell them that they keep making mistakes, nothing changes. I've had credit cards I had to cancel because they were never delivered to us, we receive bills for out neighbor (and I'm sure they get some of hours). And it's not just mail, it's packages as well. We were expecting packages from Amazon this past Sunday. Got the alert that they were delivered, but guess what? They weren't delivered to us. And forget it if you actually have to physically go to this Post Office location. There is almost never more than 1 or 2 people working the counter, even when the line snakes out into the lobby with the PO boxes, they all have attitudes and act like they are doing YOU a favor by being there, and there are NEVER any shipping supplies or forms when you need them. The one single positive thing this branch has going for it is the self-serve kiosk. read more

I loathe this post office! It's run down, with what seems to be a lot of shady people outside, and is always out of stamps, envelopes, shipping forms, and packing materials. Huge lines at any given time of the day. They don't even provide ink pens at the various counters - you must stand in line to get one, only to be sent to the back of the line, as you can't fill your stuff out at the front counter. Can't recommend. If you must go here, be sure you've got some time to kill, and either bring your packages sealed up and ready to go, or at least bring your own packing and writing supplies. The only other locations I've checked out in the area have been Eastlake on York Street, and the branch further down Washington on 88th. Both are a million times better. UPDATE: For some reason, this particular branch hit me with a $1.08 postage due charge today on a package I get delivered around the same time every month, and have had no issues with in the past, as it's always the same weight and packaging. Very disappointed in the hiring process they have. With the website constantly being down and seems to be programmed by the cheapest company possible. I am honestly surprised on how anyone got hired to begin with. When calling the store I was told the only way to send an application is by there website. Which clearly doenst work. I like this post office. I have never had a problem with my mail. It is an older building, but I am older too and probably the same age as the building LOL. The postal service in general is under a tight budget, and they will not give you supplies outside of priority mail packaging. If people want more employees and services, they need to call their congress person as it is not the staff's fault for their budget woes. I wish sometimes they had more parking. It can be a problem around the holidays. Don't park in the car wash lot next door if the post office lot is full. They are known in the past to tow you away in this private lot during the holidays if you happen to be in a long line. All in all a good post office I frequent often. read more

I think the post office does it's best to serve. But they have a "trainer" who works the customer service desk who has no business doing customer service . I have a envelope that I have mailed from several post offices that only charged me $1,60 but this woman told me that I would be paying double because I taped the extra large envelope I had in half as if it were a crime to do so. In November 2018 I encountered a very rude postal clerk, named Mary, at this facility. As I was leaving, another customer came up to me and said that a clerk at another window told her that Mary was mean to everyone. I sent a letter of complaint to the manager detailing the situation but have received no response 2 months later. This place is a joke. Went there to ship a rifle to a licensed FFL dealer and was told they can't ship it. After looking up the law and calling another post office I was able to ship the rifle. I have never experienced a post office like this before. I moved to my new place a month ago and made all of the address changes immediately. A few days after I received a card from my parents. My parents then sent another important letter which never arrived. It was returned to them and so they sent it to where I would have to sign for it. I received the notice and went to the post office to pick it up only to be told that it was lost. The employee said that seems to happen to them with mail that they receive on Saturdays. The employee told me he would call me when they found it. Still no call so I tried to call and it continued to ring until it hung up. I am not on over an hour long hold with the US Postal Service. This is absolutely unacceptable. The employee that I have worked with both times I have been there is miserable and seems to really not care if I ever get my mail or not. If there were zero or negative stars that is what I would give this post office. I hope this review does not go unnoticed and that more people do whatever they can to make changes at this facility. read more

I have been trying to get a hold of someone at this location for the last 3 weeks. Working full time, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Mon-Fri I can't say that i have the time to just drop in and ask where my missing package went. I call, finally someone answers the phone and I get hung up on. I have had nothing but problems with this post office delivering my mail and when I call them, If I can get ahold of them, for help. The are always giving me other peoples mail and packages. And they are always giving mine to others. On 12/2/19, I was notified my package was delivered to my mailbox. I was given a locker key with 2 packages in it. Neither were mine. I tried to deliver them, but the person wasn't home. My guess is the other person got my package and I got theirs. After numerous attempts I finally reached someone at the post office. They put me on hold for over 15 minutes "to get into the tracking system." They confirmed it was delivered to a locker, told me to put the other two packages back in the unlocked box and said the postal worker would correct the mistake and bring my package. Three days later, and about 40 calls later, and I can't even get anyone to answer the phone. I have not heard from anyone and I have not received my package. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened, and I am sure it won't be the last. read more
