Don't go there, the lines are short, I just learned that you can even drop off USPS with them (my fault I can't read the label). The staff is super friendly I go there just for the smile! And then to top it off, they even take the audacity to go the extra mile to know how to best and fasted do international shipments. We requested to have a package delivered to this UPS access point because we were going to be out of town. For some unknown reason, they refused delivery and had it 'returned to sender'. It contained medical supplies and now we have to contact our health care provider to have them reordered. We will not be using this access point again. Very disappointing. read more

If you're simply dropping off a package, beware that this is one of those UPS stores that chooses to charge you for three things: for printing the label, for taping up the package, and for checking their email when you send the PDF. I'm ok with the 20¢ for the printing. I'm even ok with the $1 to tape up the package. But I never used a computer! I just emailed the PDF to the front desk like they asked. And that cost $2? Yeah they might have made an extra couple bucks off me today but this is the closest UPS store to me and I won't use this location again. read more

Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the person who helped me today, but I am so thoroughly impressed with his service! He was wearing a gray UPS shirt with a long black sleeve shirt under and the time is 1:52 PM. He was so attentive and said hello to every customer that Entered the establishment, and there was a line but he spoke to everyone and was multitasking with three computers. I was given incorrect information from two different employees about when a package would arrive at its destination. This was a very specific and time sensitive situation, and I was told that if I upgraded to a certain shipping level, the box would be "placed on the truck closest to the door" guaranteeing it would arrive before my family member had to leave for the airport on a particular day. This wasn't a preference on delivery - it was time sensitive. That was wrong information. Do not trust the people at this store or at the least, don't sign off on anything until you are absolutely sure what you've been told is correct. I was clear - if this package cannot arrive at this date, I am not shipping it. And let me be clear, I was not about to pay $150, but when told that $65 would work which is still a lot of money, I agreed. I should be able to trust the employees here. As a warning, you don't see the fine print until the receipt comes out, after you've been told whatever it is they want you to know. Like most people, I hardly ever ship anything - the package contents would have been destroyed (if not simply gone) by the time my family member returns home. I am most likely out $65 and the package is on its way back to me. Corporate will not help, and apparently doesn't care or get involved in what its franchises do, so do not expect help there. I was told (nicely) I'd most likely not get a refund - so I just spent all of that money to send a package to myself. There is one thing about reading a receipt longer than my arm and understanding enough about that to ask for a refund after you've just had a lengthy conversation; another to acknowledge that if I have to send the package back to myself obviously that shows something went very wrong. Be very careful - expect nothing if you have to go here. **Additional note; I called the store before I called the corporate office, and was told by an employee that I couldn't talk to a manager, given the number for the corporate office, and then had to be put on hold while the employee looked up or asking someone what his own manager's name is. "RB" - I'm not sure what that means or who it is, but if this is the staff, charging a lot of money for their services, I cannot trust them. read more

I made an appointment online to have something notarized. When I got there there was one kid behind the counter and a line. After a few minutes another kid, who didn't look old enough to drive, came in with coffees. He then got behind the counter to help me. I told him why I was there and he confirmed with the other kid that they didn't have a notary until after 3pm. So I had to wait there until some child came back from a coffee break he probably shouldn't have taken to be told the service I was there for wasn't available. Find adults. Absolute worst customer service experience ever, and I've worked in customer service extensively. After waiting at home all day for UPS to deliver a highly sensitive and important package (coming in my 10 month olds name) that required a signature they attempted to deliver it to the WRONG house. And left a note for my neighbors (the WRONG HOUSE) that it could be picked up the following day at this location. We went into retrieve the package and were met by the RUDEST manager I've ever encountered. He was rude to two customers before me, and while I started off very friendly he was disrespectful to me from the VERY beginning; Who refused to release the package because it was in my 10 month olds name and I had no photo ID for him (because who would?) I showed him my ID with a matching Last name (and an uncommon Last name mind you) and he still refused. It was obvious the package was mine and it was something we desperately needed for my sons health. He was so uncaring and rude to me, saying it was his job not to hand over the package without ID as if he was security for the president and his job was so important. But offered no solution to the problem, or alternative way to get my package. In the end I had to phone my husband to come down with his ID and several bills in our names with a matching health address before this dick would give us the package. He clearly has no respect for women as he was so rude to me and the two other female customers, and when my husband arrived he was suddenly more willing to accept our proof of ID. If you can help it DO NOT do business here, do not support such a ridiculous business that treats customers so poorly and views women as inferior. particularly after THEY made a mistake in the first place! Also the manager's (possibly the owner as well) name is Sunil and if you read other reviews he has SEVERAL bad reviews that further explain how rude, unhelpful, and disrespectful he is. Let's hope his business gets shut down. It's a shame there isn't a FedEx nearer by to take away more of his business. Trust me, it's worth it to drive to FedEx! read more

I paid the owner/manager for a return envelope when I shouldn't have, but thankfully the company I had ordered from refunded the cost of the return envelope. My father died and in order for his widow to get his full estate I needed to notarize a document disclaiming my inheritance. When I went to get this notarized the two boys behind the counter were horsing around and told me the notary didn't want to do it today. Saying they were just playing, one of them went to get her. The other said that he was a notary and held out his hand for me to give him my legal document. I asked if he was really the notary, to which he said yes, then no, he was just playing. Finally an adult showed up and notarized my disclaimer so my father's widow could sell her house. Really immature employees here when you're trying to do grown up business. read more

Wonderful staff. I go in every week to print things, and have seen the store during all levels of slow, busy, and slammed. They always say hello, which is especially rare these days. The staff is really patient with shipping newbies. Never seen anyone flustered when they were really busy. From the way I've heard them talking to folks bringing their first ever package in to be shipped, they know their stuff. Store is always well maintained and clean. Every once in a great while I have to do my printing somewhere else, and it's never nearly as good of an experience, as the Mission Trace UPS Store. read more

Excellent. Really, I rarlely say that about a UPS Store but I needed to return some damaged merchandise via UPS and even though the package was prepaid I received top notch service from the staff. They reweighed the package to make sure it was correct and printed a confirmation receipt that the item was sent. Parking can be tough in the Mission Trace center because there are a lot of cars and a lot of stores but due to the service I received I would bear it all again in a heartbeat. Well done! read more

Unfortunately, this is the most convenient place for me to ship from. I much prefer the FedEx store but it's 5 miles down the road. I shipped a package last Friday and got an immediate email stating my package label had been created and would soon be on its way. As of this morning there is no evidence the package is in transit. I called the store and was told I'd just have to wait to see if the package gets delivered this Friday. That's ridiculous! This package is going to rural Maine and there should be multiple scans showing the delivery progression. So far there are none. What a joke UPDATE: Tracking information became available 5 days after the package shipped. The package arrived on the 6th day (a day earlier than expected). As he promised, the store owner called this morning to let me know the package had been delivered. I've changed my review to four stars because they did follow through. I still think it's a pricey place to shop from so I can't give it five stars. read more

Terrible place! Never go here or rent a mailbox from them. The manager is rude, the employees have no clue what is going on. They will not forward your mail if you move without charging you a fee which was never explained when we rented our mail box there and told them we just needed it for awhile before we moved out of state. Stopped in yesterday with package dimensions and weight info, and was told it would cost "About $25". Went back today with the package, and was told it would cost $47! I asked why the difference, and was told that "UPS' prices are liquid, changing every day". My husband works for UPS, and that's a lie. After I angrily left the store with my package in hand,I put the package information into the shipping calculator on UPS.com, and was quoted $32. I'll NEVER go to this UPS store again, and possibly never go to any UPS stores at all. They've lost my trust, for sure. This is the most untrustworthy UPS shipping business I have encountered. Are all UPS shipping stores the same? I came in the store today, January 31, asking to mail a small ring, no insurance and not in a hurry to get it to its destination from Thornton, CO to Ft. Meyers, Florida. I asked the non English speaking person behind the counter to devise best price for getting the tiny thing to its destination via UPS. First, he picked out a shirt sized box, when clearly, the item I had shown him was wrapped tinier than a 1"x1" little packet ,less than a half ounce. I suggested we perhaps go with a CD mailer box, the smallest I saw on the shelf. He then agreed. We went to the counter, and first he quoted me $70.00 to get the thing there overnight. ( !!!) Since I do not require overnight delivery, and I again tell him this, he suddenly says he could still get it there overnight for almost half that price at $37.. I feel like I am in the middle of a very bad dream, and also wonder why all of a sudden I might have that same service for almost half the price? I explain again, I am in no hurry, and wish only to get the most practical price for a simple shipment, no insurance or extra services required, and then he suddenly says, well he can get it there for $13 within a day or two. I wonder why he was willing to charge me $70, then $37, and now $13, and it really starts to feel like a scam. I respectfully decline, explaining I might instead just go the local PO and ship priority mail for under $5.00, with insurance, if I indeed had needed it. He is flippant when I say, quite respectfully, and with all the tact I can muster, I don't feel like he has given me a very fair quote at all for this tiny task. I say I doubt I will be back, and he, quite nasty, says, "no problem" in his scratchy little voice. I think, but do not say, yes, I know you don't care and wonder how they stay in business. I drive 8 blocks south and enter the Mailbox Express store run by Ken Koger (owner/operator) at 3758 East 104th Avenue (Thornton, CO. WHAT A WORLD OF (GREAT)DIFFERENCE!!!! (GREAT) I show my tiny little packet to the clerk, explain where it is going, and ask how I might best ship it. $3.25 later my package is on its way via USPS with a tracking number and up to $100 insurance, first class mail. On top of this, I have had the most courteous experience with the person behind the counter, full of new year cheer and practical helpfulness. At one point, I actually meet Ken, who greets me and asks if my needs were satisfactorily met. AND HOW!!!, Exceeded, I say - by miles! Thank you, Ken and for being an honest a business owner and so committed and competent. Thanks for a great and fair service, and may all United Parcel Service stores who hope to take advantage of their would be customers meet their just due, living (and meeting their ruin ) by their unethical practices! read more

Through the door I was asked why I was there and when I said, to pick up a package that I received notice about via email, without any pertinent information, I was told my package wasn't there. I insisted in fact it was and asked how the gentleman could possibly know it wasn't there without even knowing who I was or any package information. He then told me he was tired of having trouble with customers who couldn't bother to accept their packages at home and was going to not accept these packages to hold at the store in the future. I informed him that I in fact had changed my delivery to a neighbor who was in fact home but that the delivery driver instead lazily left a door tag not following my change instructions. At this point I'm tired of this treatment, this guy, and UPS in general. Finally he asks for my name and delivery number and promptly finds my package. Wow! Imagine that. UPS has real issues with this guy at this location, his attitude, and overall handling of their logistics. read more
