Irma has horrible attitude and customer service. She was being the sweetest to an elderly female ahead of me and spent over 30 minutes with her. And when it was my turn she was nasty and quick to dismiss me without answering any questions regarding my passport. Irma cannot provide the same respect to each customer, she sheds a dark light onto the post office. read more

Frank or a supervisor: please read this. We closed our P. O. box (12608) yesterday, 4/25, and no more mail was to be delivered to the box. Weeks ago, we gave you our forwarding address in Iowa that was to begin 4/26. Today, I see in my Informed Delivery Daily Digest that 5 pieces of mail are being delivered to the PO box TODAY (4/26), including two very important pieces of first class mail. We need someone to check box 12608 today and get those first class letters forwarded to us in Iowa. I tried to call this morning, but no one answers your phone, which is upsetting. We had this box for 4 months, after we sold our house in Indian Wells, and have lost so much mail in those months. Our former neighbors called us a few weeks ago to say they found first class mail of ours on the street in front of our house, with tire tracks on it. A second neighbor called the following day saying our mail ended up in his mailbox. We are missing two large checks that were mailed in March and never showed up on the Informed Daily Digest, in our box-- or in the street at our old address with tire marks on the envelopes. Very poor service if you have anything non standard. Needed a International Postal Money Order for a program in Japan. They claimed they don't sell them and have not for a long time! The USPS website states they CAN be purchased at any Post Office. So why does this main hub post office NOT have them? I bought one at the post office in Santa Cruz a few months ago. Very disappointed in the attitude of the employees here. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she made very little effort to help. BTW. They tried to tell me to call their phone # and I said no I'll wait for a supervisor. Good thing because like another reviewer stated they do not answer their phone. I made 3 trips to the post to renew my daughter passport, even though I called made an appointment. They have an clerk by the name of Irma Ms.busy body on the floor assisting the workers she should not be so loud when it comes to speaking to customers about there personal information such as "Make sure it says you have sole custody" in front of my daughter, that's embarrassing that should not be heard. Don't understand how the Post Office would hire a person like her. There office should have a private office not an open window. read more

Even a week after the occurrence it has been heavily on my mind the amazing service i got from an employee at this post office location. Frank was outstanding and i had to make some time to recognize him. I had a package that was undelivered per the tracking notice- the last place it had been was at this location, i stopped in to see what could be done- honestly expecting to walk away with no resolve, but then i had the pleasure of meeting Frank. He went searching for the package, cared about the story behind the package and was excited to hear about what i was eagerly awaiting...even when we sadly didn't find it he took my name and number and said he would follow up...and he surely did. My package ended up on my front door step the next morning and i know it was by his efforts as the sender had forgotten to even write my numeric address. Franks attention to detail and amazing follow through was incredible. He truly has that customer service any business is beyond lucky to have. Thanks Frank! read more

Kinda upset with this place. I recently moved to the area and had my address changed. I don't seem to be getting my new mail which is upsetting. My previous address isn't getting the mail either, so this leads me to believe that my mail is somehow lost? Who's getting my mail if it's not coming to this location, my new address or my previous address? I went through all the proper channels to do an update of address but didn't have any luck it would seem. I like the place and the people who work here are nice but I find it extremely upsetting to be having this problem. read more

One of my first real experiences with a Post Office and it sure was a good experience. I had my package accidentally sent to previous address through eBay. I realized the error and contacted them right away. I was given to a woman named Traci who was very helpful. She said just keep an eye on the package in hopes to intercept it before delivery. I came back a few days later and dealt with a front clerk named Marybelle. She was very nice and gave the carrier the note with my name and the address it was being sent to. I kept calling just to make sure they had held it and they did. Thank you so much Traci for your help! Your staff is really nice and you definitely made my day! read more

The worst. 2 packages from 2 different companies were mislabeled as delivered to my mailbox. Our landlord said they had been doing it all week. So I go to the post office and wait to speak to the cart lady, she was sooo unprofessional even said "Hey, come here! come over here! that's me." (after ringing the doorbell for 15 minutes to the cust. service window) When I did walk over to her she interrupted every other word I said, and barely let me get a word in. Said the mail man was new and covering and knew where he'd delivered my packages. Said she would call me back and NEVER did. I called a day and half later. She did the same thing over the phone. NEVER called back. I spoke with the postmaster on the phone and she acted the same exact way. I even asked if it was the same person. She was rude and unprofessional. even sighing when she answered the phone. Why is their ineptitude our problem?? They need all new staff. Everyone working there looks beat up. This 5 stars goes out to the phenomenal customer service i've received every time I've been in here. We all know nothing is more boring than the train of people in line at a US Post Office. When it comes to customer service however, I'm always greeted with enthusiasm and a smile and get what I need done with such ease. Line ahead of me was out the door. But, Postmaster Maribel saved me by providing the correct forms and information for returning goods to the United Kingdom, and at the same time preserving my place in line. Then, Postmaster Patty upgraded the forms for insurance purposes at the counter and let me fill them out there. Wonderful service, when considering that DHL on line and at the local mail stops had no idea how to even compete with USPS prices. Now I'm having a Happy Holiday. wasn't getting my bills, tax receipts, nor other important mail for a couple months and water and internet cut off for example. spoke with the postmaster who looked over and saw my delivery guy and asked if he was delivering everything. he said yes and that was the end of the investigation. This was about 6 months ago. just got notified by my brokerage house the mail is being returned and unclaimed property laws may apply. been here since 92. These guys are not good read more
