The staff are really friendly every time I visit this location. They even provide me my proof of receipt when I requested unlike other locations. The wait time is a hit and miss since there isn't too many staff working at the same time, which is usually 1 or 2. The area is clean and easy to locate items. I agree with NSR. This post office is always busy and understaffed. Went on Saturday 02/18/17 and 15 people in line and 1 person pulling from this line and the other person for the pick ups. Went last year because the tracking number said they delivered and the girl on the counter was friendly but scooted me over to the next window so someone else could check. Well the POSTMASTER himself came out and took my info and went to the back. So there I stood for like 15 minutes that even the nice girl apologized (it was'nt her fault)! Then someone came and asked "Are you being helped'? I told him I did'nt know where the POSTMASTER had gone for he was helping me. Then I heard them in the back whispering that he had got a call and left! So this gentleman checked and it was discovered that they left my package at 9513 but a different street. Poor service and I guess they get their cue from the top... the POSTMASTER!! read more

There needs to be a posting of their procedures for passports. The man at the counter said, "we're not taking anymore". Considering I only renew every 10 years, I don't know why he's saying that. When I ask him what he means, he sounds irritated as he's explaining. read more

I have been selling online for a year so far,when I started using the post office in pico Rivera the one on passons blvd, I have received 10 customer complaints in less than 2 weeks about undelivered packages, I'm sure the employees are the ones stealing them,because I have sent to other post offices & this never happened until I started sending to this location!! So now even tho its on the same street I live in, I'm going to have to go to a farther one just so my packages won't get stolen -.- thus losing time, money & customers!!! read more

I am disappointed with this post office and some of it's personnel. You are better off going to the other local post offices. The lines are long and customer service is slow. Yes this post office is open Saturday but much of your time will be spent whining in your head while your standing in line. I live around the block from this location, I've had both good & Bad experiences at this location. Some staff are nice, others are not. My biggest issue with is place is the long lines.. I visit in the AM hours and there are 3 people working and it's empty , if I Visit after 3 there is 1 person working and a line out the door!! My other issue is the building itself, it could an upgrade, it's old, things are falling apart and the space is too small for the amount of customers they get here. I've been to other locations that are way bigger and nicer. In fact I just now left this location and was annoyed that two workers were making fun of the bad reviews here on Yelp and elsewhere in front of a customer (Me) I was like really? And that compelled me to write a review. I'm also annoyed about the removal of the Stamp machine!! read more

Passport camera not working. Applications were not being accepted on 3/2/17. Unsure if it was permanent or temporary, there was no one at the counter when I walked in. A sign was left at the passport window. There were no renewal applications either. read more

This place deserves only 1 star!!! I had a pretty expensive package that had got sent here from Cerritos postal office. I drove around EVERYWHERE looking for my package that I was suppose to get a week ago. So I show up to this pico rivera office... Gave them my tracking number. The guy in the back looked it up and comes out to tell me that they didn't scan it and that now it's no where to be found........ he couldn't even write up a letter so I could let the company know that the package was misplaced!!! Of all the postal offices in which I have visited, this one is by far the absolute most disappointing one of them all. I have been a Pico Rivera resident for over 20 years and despite living so conveniently close to this one, I much rather travel the 30 miles to Glendora's postal office from today onwards. Not only are the staff ill mannered and unprofessional here, but they do not carry any regards to customer satisfaction. When given proof that they must take responsibility for the mistake of their employees, they treat the customers as though they are the ones that are in the wrong regardless. My family made numerous unnecessary trips to this office due to a mistake that one of their employees made in regards to a passport. And rather than providing the full paperwork and information needed on the second visit, we had to come back and forth daily and only to encounter new difficulties with the office and their lack of consistency and communication skills. Had I only convinced my family to go to Glendora that first day, we would not have had any issues. Regardless of that, we paid for a passport that we did not need, the changes that we requested could not be done and the postal office failed to make that clear to us. It overwhelmed my family to think that they would SCAM us by convincing us to pay them hundreds of dollars for something that we did not want; knowing that it was all nonrefundable. It was not until I told the staff that I would kindly request a meeting with their postal master that they started handling our matters properly. They even had the audacity to try and pressure me into believing that it is impossible to speak with the postal master. I never meant to come off as a threat, but rather as a concerned Pico Rivera resident and United States citizen. Our city deserves better than this lack of professionalism. This is literally one of the WORST postal offices I have ever dealt with. The employees are arrogant and rude. Mail is constantly mis-directed and mis-delivered. If you call and try to carry on a conversation with an employee or supervisor, they literally scream in your ear and don't let you get in a word edgewise! read more

One of the most idiotic USPS I have had the misfortune of dealing with. One time I missed a package delivery but got a slip and went online to tell this USPS location to hold my package for pick-up on a Sat. When I got there as early as I can, I was told that the package was accidentally given to the driver who's on route. The kicker is they told me where I can find the driver (street-wise) to get the package from him. I did cuz I had no choice. What's the point of requesting your package for hold when it's going to be delivered anyways? Another time, I was expecting a package and tracked it online. Says delivery attempted, sig required and back at the post office; but got no delivery slip. So I had to punch in my info online and pull up the package, to which I requested to hold for pick-up on Sat. Guess what? It was delivered 2 days later and left at my door step. And you USPS morons are getting paid how much again for a menial task you can't even perform? Overpaid piece of shit APWU workers. And you wonder why raising the price on stamps every other year isn't going to save the USPS out of their bankrupt ass. Oh yeah and what USPS doesn't have an outside mail box? This one. read more
