Their delivery drivers lie and refuse to deliver packages claiming it is blocked or undeliverable when they had delivered packages a few days before and had been for months without issue. Its a flat driveway, no mud, packed gravel darn near paved. It even has plenty of room to turn around. They will also lie to you when you go to file a complaint saying that there is no form in existence to lodge a complaint this is not true, do not fall for their lies. They will not deliver packages that do not for into your mailbox. They will pretend you are not home when a signature delivery has been paid for. When your mail has been stolen, they do not help or express empathy. Our old carrier was such a sweetheart. He always delivered the mail. My mom lives out in Joyce and we typically get our mail around 4pm. When we have packages our mailman will put "delivery attempted, no secure location. We put slip in the mailbox" at 9:40am not only is there no slip in the mail box but the mailman didn't even attempt to go up our driveway (we have cameras). I called the usps store because my mom got home and said there's no packages or slips. When I get on the phone with the postmaster he tells me the package is in the facility, mind you it's 2pm and we don't get our mail until 4. So now I think it's easy to say not only did he lie about attempting delivery and not put the slip in our mailbox but he didn't even take the package out of the facility with him this morning. Super unsatisfied with their failed attempts to fix this problem after multiple complaints. To add on top of this this mailman in the past year has ruined multiple boxes of ours because he throws them in the yard without even getting out of his vehicle!! read more

I get a notice from USPS stating my package was Undeliverable due to blocked or inaccessible driveway. My driveway was neither blocked nor inaccessible. My mom happened to be above at top of our property cleaning a rental and saw mail person pull into driveway like they were letting someone by, not trying to come down the driveway, paused then left. not sure if it is the same delivery person but also getting packages stuffed into my mailbox so tightly that I had to pull in several directions to get my stuff out and my envelope mail was squished to the back and packages ripped. read more

This is quite a large post office, but that's probably because Port Angeles is quite a large town. I really like that this post office has some very large native murals in the entryway. I assume it is art of the Elwha Klallam Tribe whose heritage center is just a short hop skip and jump from the post office. This place can't even deliver a package properly. I live off c street and they normally drop off my packages on my porch. Now they're leaving it on the other side, facing the street so it's in perfect view for everyone to see. My package was also half open. ?? I just saw the mailman/mail lady drive away and now I'm wondering who it was that opened my box. There's normally plastic around it, so it would stay dry. Mystery unsolved. I've never once encountered a rude or inept employee. Recently, I mailed a letter via Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested and had no idea how to assemble the label and return card. The clerk kindly showed me how to do it, explaining the process along the way. Thanks very much to the staff! I realize this is the holiday season, but come one. Line all the way the door out the lobby and into the street. The small parking lot completely full, with patrons sitting in their cars reading mail and taking up parking spots. Customers circling the lot looking for a place to park, just so they can wait in that line. Long line at the self-serve machine, too. And, to make it worse, ONLY TWO WORKERS HELPING CUSTOMERS! No wonder everyone is switching to other shipping methods and the PO is going broke. read more
