I really like this location and always have. Employees are friendly and consistenly friendly. They address their regulars by name, joke around, get em in and get em out fast. I appreciate USPS, they've always delivered my packages on time, given me the cost effective option and sent me on my way. For what these guys have to endure with the stupid questions and being yelled at because the customer waited until the last minute deserves a crabby pass once in awhile. I've heard some of the outlandish requests while waiting in line from time to time. read more

This branch had minimum of 5 counter stations open and effortlessly handled a constant stream of customers. Hadn't been to this branch before, but they had longer Saturday hours and we were able to take care of our postal business. Thanks to the staff of this branch and the USPS overall for all they have been doing for us at this challenging time. read more

I really dislike going to pick up our mail from this office , they're always understaffed regardless of the time of day you go. The staff is nice, but wait times are brutal. It's specially difficult for me to wait around with a child. I hope they staff it properly at some point but this seems like an ongoing issue for years- per previous reviews. read more

Too long! On a recent Friday mid day (1:15 - 1:35ish) I waited 20 minutes to get some specialty stamps. I needed them and they had to be specific stamps. What I also needed was to get in and out quickly. This did not happen. I understand people don't have checking accounts and need to buy a money order, but really? Do you have to have 3 people working with 10 people in line and 1 of the 3 is checking the status of a money order the whole time I'm there? I've been to the post office in 55104 and they are much more accommodating and quick. I'll stick with my own hood and skip Roseville. Costumer service, manager so rude. They don't know how to talk with costumers. They don't care. I have missing item and I called them, manager said they delivered item to my place. Later on they figured out they took wrong address and he said its not our problem its who sent you that person problem. He didn't apologize and without bye just hang up. Even in store they all rude. This is the worst postal service. I'm filing complaints all the time. My packages get put in other residents mailboxes. They hold packages and don't deliver them for weeks. I do as much as possible on line when it comes to postage, but once in a while I am forced to actually go to this PO. It's getting worse. 40 minutes to purchase some postcard stamps. 23 people in line when I finally got to the counter. 5 stations, two clerks, who, while quite nice, seem to be getting even slower as time goes on. I can easily understand why the PO is going broke. If a retail business had 23 people waiting to check out they would simply add help - or they would be out of business fast. I currently produce 3 newsletters and 85% of the recipients get them via e-mail. It won't be too long until I will have to discontinue service to the remaining 15% due to my inability to waste time at the PO. read more

In the more than 30 years I have lived in Roseville, I have found the service at this station to be excellent. However, we have a new carrier on our route this year, as the previous carrier retired. The route is Acorn Road N., between Cty B and the 36 Frontage Road. Thus far, the new carrier has delivered three packages of books to my address, and forced them into the mailbox. The books needed to be compressed in order to fit in, and once they are in, they expand again. It is almost impossible to drag them out, because they get caught on the rim of the mailbox opening. I am now 82 years old. I can't shove my hands and arms into the box without slipping on the icy street. On November 14, it took me more than 5 solid minutes to force the package out, and when I opened it, the covers of the book had been bent. I know it's extra work for the carrier to bring the book packages to my door, but it would be so helpful to me. Thanks. read more

Our business rarely has to go directly to the post office and after reading some of these comments - that is good. My complaint is with the delivery at Rosedale Tower. They alway have an excuse for being late, such as it is, but never the less - mail is delivered btween 10 and 2:30. I wish I had one of these "windows", but we have to be on time for them. We were downtown Minneapolis before & could pick up the mail - I asked if we could do that all the time and was told "No, you are in the 'burbs' now honey" read more

I am a resident of Roseville, Mn so receive mail delivery at my residence from this post office (55113). I read the other reviews and would agree that the wait time at the main post office in Roseville is excessive and the workers are not friendly. I am writing today about the terrible mail delivery service to my home. I found a box squished so tightly in my box that I could not retrieve it without opening the other side of the box and pushing it through. The books in the box were bent as a result of the carelessness of the mail carrier. In addition, I routinely find magazines ripped and other persons' mail in my box. The subs are terrible but the squished box came about as a result of the regular mail person not taking the time to walk the box to my front door. I called the post office and spoke with the manager (3rd call to this office complaining) and he assured me that he would speak to the mail delivery person about my concerns. I am hoping for the best but will not hold my breath. I have resided in the same home for 30 years and the mail delivery was excellent for about 25 of those years and now has gone to hell in a hand basket. read more

This post office and its delivery of mail is the worst I've ever encountered and I'm in my fifties. Our regular mail carrier is wonderful but when she goes on vacation - and she deserves to go on vacation - then mail delivery is horrible and then she comes back to a mess. Many of us in my apartment complex don't get our mail for a week and packages are not delivered or delivered somewhere else. The incredible incompetence of the carriers that step in when our regular carrier is gone is evident. I'm not sure some of them are literate. I've put up with it for five years. This last Saturday I was expecting a shipment of books, the tracking said they were delivered to my mailbox, but lo! They weren't there and nor could they be. The mailbox is too small. She was even bitching out an elderly customer who was trying to ship cremains somewhere. Totally unacceptable. Rude rude rude rude rude! Total bitch!!! The Roseville PO really fixed what was wrong. For 3 years the lines were long, service bad. Then late during 2016 they had new employees and boy has it made a difference. They are efficient and the wait has dropped significantly. Hats off. read more

I wish I could rate this 0 stars. The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced!! I have shipped the same items in the same type of box for a year and a half there, and today they decide to refuse to accept it. But instead of kindly explaining any reason for the change or for helping me figure out what I should do next, the girl decides to just take MY boxes away from me and put them behind the counter and then proceeds to IGNORE me and calls the next customer. When I ask her why she took my boxes without scanning them, she condescendingly says "they'll get scanned eventually." Then refuses to help me and completely ignores me. The other "worker" there does the same. I finally got them to give me my boxes back but they KEPT one of my boxes. I WILL NEVER return to that HORRIBLE place of "business." I recommend you also find a different post office unless you want to be demeaned, talked down to, and then flatly ignored. read more

I've gone to this post office many times simply because it was close to where I worked so often convenient. My experience is always poor. They usually have about 2 people working while there are often lines up to the door. I usually plan to spend a good 20+ minutes waiting to mail whatever it is I need to mail. They really need to get some additional assistance. There looks to be plenty of registers! I've gone to plenty of other post offices where service is way quicker. I think I will continue to bring my business elsewhere. read more

The employees here work hard under a lot of stress due to the cuts in funding to the postal service. I am in here often enough to assess their service but not often enough to be a "regular." Yes, you have to wait in line sometimes. That's not the employees' fault. The service I've received here is so much better than at our previous post office! read more
