December 3rd, 2017. Another botched delivery from the Seaside Post Office. I was expecting a package from Amazon yesterday, guaranteed delivery by 8 PM. When it became dark i lit all the outside front lights and kept the shades open to watch for the mail carrier who never came. At 8 PM on the dot, I received notice from Amazon that the mail carrier attempted delivery but could not access the front porch because of a locking gate. I do not have a locking gate. Plus I have an over sized mail box on the street that this small package could easily have fit in. After talking to my neighbors, apparently, no one on my street had mail delivery or mail pick up yesterday. I find this unacceptable and very unprofessional. Now Amazon sent me notice that my package has been delivered. What??? I checked everywhere outside and it has not been delivered. The Seaside Post Office is the most unprofessional organization I have ever dealt with. It is no wonder they have such a bad reputation. read more

What can i say this place is great. The staff have always greeted me with a smile and are super nice and actually go out of their way to let you know the best way to ship something that will cost you the min amount. Recently read the review by a young woman who needed a passport at the Seaside Post Office. This is the Post Office. They sell stamps and deliver mail. Do you really think they are in the back printing up passports? You know those highly regulated, micro chipped, official government documents issued by the state department? I'm sorry but waiting till the last minute to get a passport is irresponsible and expecting to get a passport in two days, even in an emergency is naïve. Was the Postal employee unprofessional for snickering? Yes. Maybe he couldn't believe how unrealistic you were. I don't get people for blaming their problems on others. Make an appointment with the passport office in San Francisco and delay your trip a week. if that emergency is an actual emergency?......or are you jut pissed your going to miss your drunk fest in Cabo with your buddies? read more

This is a small post office than the one in Monterey. The have a nice parking lot, but with limited spaces. The have a drive up drop off box in front which is easily accessible as a driver. They only have a few customer windows and usually only have 1 or 2 people to assist you. The reason I give this location a higher rating than the Monterey location is due to the friendliness of the staff. They are always friendly and willing to assist you with your needs. I do have to admit they talk a little to much about personal things or their coworkers, which is not professional. But no matter what time of day you go the wait time in line is less than at other locations. I will continue to use this post office over the others in the area. read more

I had three packages that needed to be returned to Nordstroms. They were all delivered to two different Post Offices at three different times. The package that was sent from the Monterey Post Office located on Hartnell Street was received by Nordstroms. The other two packages sent out of the Seaside location on Broadway have still not been received. Is there a problem at the Seaside Post Office? read more

Always a line. Hardly ever is there more than one agent. Passport service is a joke. Their camera has been broken for years. Not able to use their services when my business is closed at lunch because they take too long. Pretty bad. read more

This is the worst post office. They notify your package had been delivered, but the mail delivery man hasn't drop it in, but they update their system it's delivered. Whrn it is not.This has happened a few times now. read more

I came to this location to get my passport renewed and it was such an easy, pleasant experience! I made an appointment three weeks in advance which probably helped, though. So I do recommend making an appointment. Anyway, I walked in and the line was a decent size, but this office has a woman who just does passport renewals so I was able to finish the whole process in EIGHT minutes. I was so impressed. My family back in Fresno had to sit in an office FIVE HOURS to get theirs renewed! I actually had cleared my schedule for the day anticipating a horrific wait, and ended up with a nice day with some leisure time! They also take your passport photos here for an additional $15. The woman helping me knows what's up... She showed me my picture after each shot to make sure I liked it. All ladies know that we need to find the right angle ;) She worked with me to find a great shot. This is my adult passport and will last ten years you know! Anyway, I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend anyone looking to renew their passport to come to this location. read more

everyone there is very nice , I just wish they would open up in the mornings as advertise. There have been a lot of mornings I've gotten there a little after 7 and the place is locked up. This past Saturday I got there at 7:30 and the lobby was closed. If you are going to change your hours at least open when you are suppose to. We change or schedule so that ew can get our mail before work since we can not get there before closing and no one open the lobby at 7. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking is OK but can be a little difficult to enter from the street sometimes. I personally prefer this post office more then the one in downtown Monterey due to the fact that they are more friendly. My only issue is with the mailman in Seaside. Currently the new guy that delivers our mail is constantly giving our neighbors our mail and and has lost some of our stuff. Otherwise I would recommend going to this post office. read more

this is the worst post office ever the drivers lose your packages or they put your mail in someone elses box then they lie and tell you they deliverd your your mail or package to you when they didn't. they were supposed to had sent me a package on apr.17 2018 I never got it they never called me or left me a letter stating that they missed me and I could pick it up at the post office they should be held liable for losing people purchases and mail it isn't cool at all I had to reorder my stuf.f read more
