The person who helped me was Lilian the owner and she was super helpful. The store follows Covid guidelines and is super clean and organized. Lilian had me grab my receipt from the machine so we had zero contact. It took less than a minute to be in and out of the store during lunch time. I highly recommend this place! Unfortunately, on June 29, I had a very disappointing experience with Lillian. I was returning two packages, and I needed to pay USPS shipping costs for one of the items. Lillian pulled the options up on the monitor and I selected USPS Ground as the most economical way to ship the return item with tracking. Lillian asked me, "Are you a business, because USPS Ground is only available to businesses." As I am not a business, I then selected a non-tracked option for the return, as the only other choices were equal in cost to the value of the item I was returning, much more than the ~$8 USPS Ground would have cost. Afterwards, I contacted the USPS to check whether the information Lillian had provided was correct on whether USPS Ground shipping was only available to businesses because the more I thought about it, the more I thought this was wrong. USPS confirmed that Lillian had lied to me - see https://www.usps.com/ship/ground-advantage.htm. I have no idea why Lillian provided me with false information which made the return tracking options so much more costly, but I will never use Central Coast again for my shipping needs. It may be a bit more inconvenient to go to UPS or USPS directly, but I would rather spend a few minutes in a line than be deceived by Lillian. With her many years in this business, I have no doubt that she clearly knows the rules by now, making her deception deliberate and for what, to scam a few extra bucks off me? Shameful.

Recently, I've noticed what seems to be new staff, or maybe just people I hadn't met before and they've been incredibly friendly and helpful! One great tip: if you need to print a label but don't have a printer at home, just email it to yourself. When you arrive at this location, they'll provide you with their email address so you can forward the label to them and print it there. It's a simple and smooth process, and they're happy to guide you if you need any assistance. Based on my experiences, everything here has gone smoothly. Unbelievably rude and completely lacking basic empathy. I went into this store to print and fax…read moreurgent documents. I am currently dealing with a major digital security compromise and a pending police report, meaning I cannot safely access email on my phone and needed to use their customer computer. The customer computer was down. Instead of offering an alternative workaround to help a customer in a crisis, the employee (male with a dark beard, glasses, face mask, and hat) was incredibly curt, rigid, and dismissive. He flat-out refused to help, stating, "This is a business," and even lied by saying he didn't know the address of a nearby sister store to avoid looking it up. I literally stood in front of him and called the Menlo Park UPS store. They immediately agreed to help me print my documents using alternative methods, despite having the exact same technical outage. When I told this employee that the other store was willing to assist, he just gave a lazy, "Sorry, I can't." Avoid this location. If you expect standard problem-solving or decent human customer service, go to the Menlo Park location instead. They actually care about helping people.
