Staff is always nice and helpful. You don't get bombarded with urine-smelling people at the door. Easy enough parking. DIY kiosk when the line is long... which is almost never. I pay extra to have a po box at this location because the one closest to the house is horrible. read more

The lady with the wavy hair at the desk is extremely rude ... 2nd time I had to go in there for a package that was not in my P.O. Box and she makes it extremely uncomfortable to have a conversation due to her attidude. and any other time I show my id they hand it to me right then and there , she goes n puts it in my P.O. Box instead of handing it to me while I'm standing right here .... Like the attitudes need to be better esp working front office and making everyone feel welcomed . read more

This has got to be up there for the dumbest things an employee has ever done. So we went to the post office on 2/20/24. Showed the clerk our 6 1/2 x 7 envelope that had a graduation invitation inside. We wanted to see if one stamp would do. He felt the envelope and said "what's inside?" We told (and showed via photo) him what he was feeling was a wax seal. He said, the envelope will not be able to be processed in the machine, so we would have to buy a specialty stamp because it's hand processed.ok, no big deal. The stamp was a butterfly stamp and they were $1.12 each and we purchased 113 of them. We mailed off our first batch on Wednesday , another batch on yesterday and another batch today (we have 68 more to mail out) . Today we received 5 of them back!! These morons thought the return label was the delivery address!!! The stamp is on the front with the delivery address, but they mailed it to the address on the back with NO stamp! So I called the 800 number to speak with a postal representative. After 30 minutes trying to find a line to get me to a live representative, I let the representative know my situation, and she says I can go back for a refund, but they won't be able to do anything else. I told her this size envelopes can't be purchased anywhere else. They're the old Costco photo center Envelopes. and the stamp was never printed over, and then she hangs up. I call the local postal number and it just rings til it beeps and hangs up. Geezus. read more

It's your standard issue post office. There's nothing glam or any wow factor to it. The people, on the other hand, are not standard in the level of customer service they provide. Professional, helpful and kind. They get 5 stars for their customer service. Thank you for the work you do. read more

I have a P.O. Box with this location going on 4 years and I am very happy with the service. At the beginning, the new workers had some confusion on my orders and it took a few months to get on track but since then, it's very reliable and they are always helpful. The Post Office on Robinhood Dr. A note to all: Have everything ready when you come in. Because if you don't expect you're time here to be double. I try not to come to this location to often because every time I come here the lines are always long. I can say it's a mixture of things , lack of employees working the front counter and people not having their stuff in order. It's always this one, that I experience all of that. I don't mind waiting but when I got to get stuff done, I don't have the luxury to be clowning around. Today I came in to send out some letters, so glad I had some stamps in my wallet. Because I took one glance inside and said hell noooooo. So I just signed my paperwork and mailed them in the drop box. This is like any other Post office. Nothing special at all and they do have P.O.Boxes here as well. There's about four mailboxes out front if you don't want to deal with the long lines inside. I had two gifts to mail and wanted to do it the cheapest way possible so I decided on USPS instead of using a UPS Store. I ventured to this location on Monday 7/22/13 around 11:00. Something must have happened to me in a previous life b/c going to the post office stresses me out (kinda like going to the DMV) anyway... I needed to get these gifts out so I put on my big girl panties and away I went. Thankfully it wasn't busy and the lady behind the counter was helpful when I told her my goal of keeping the cost down. I needed packaging for a baseball hat and she brought me a box- that had been used previously- no charge and my other items were two outfits for my 5 mth old nephew- she recommended an envelope. Sent both items priority mail which is cool b/c they will be there today (Wednesday) and when you go priority, you can check on-line to make sure it got to its destination. I don't like the angled parking- I always feel like someone is going to back into me but besides that, I would go back here. read more

This is the second time that I have sent a letter overnight from this post office. I pay the additional fee $22.95 and get several confirmations that this will be delivered next day by 3pm (domestic letter). This is also the second time that it does NOT get delivered the next day. It took two phone calls to get someone to answer the phone. When he did he looked up my tracking number and told me what I just told him - my letter has not been delivered as it was supposed to me. I asked him how we find out where it is and when it really will be delivered. He said there is no way to know. No way to know? As well as I can figure out my letter might or might not get delivered at some point in the future. The first time this happened I just put it down to things happen and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Now I am convinced that the post office just says whatever they want to with no intention of actually getting my stuff where it is supposed to be when they promise (and I pay for). They don't care if I am upset or if they have created a huge problem for me. The attitude was, oh well. It will get delivered when it gets delivered. UPS only costs a little bit more for overnight - I will not use the USPS again. What good is saving $5 if the overnight service doesn't really exist. Also, I called the main 800 number and after putting in my tracking number with several other punch this number and explain why you are calling us prompts I was finally placed on hold. Ten minutes later the call was disconnected. I guess if there are too many people they just drop you off hold. read more

If you have your stuff in order, these guys are the best. Do yourself a favor and be ready when you go in. I shipped a priority box from here , Saturday morning, it was delivered in Vermont this morning (Monday). I do 20 30 pakages a month from here and am able to get in and get out quickly. read more

Absolutely horrible. I online shop most of the time and they literally must knock like toddlers or not at all cuz I can't ever hear them. My sister is here now and couldn't hear them either. It's ridiculous it happens every time and I'm tired of driving down to get my packages all the time. Going to see if I can switch to the Pacific one if that's even possible. read more

This Post Office has some of the most rude employees. I came in to Mail a package and the older Black gentleman was one of the worst workers I've had to deal with. He has a horrible attitude and barely spoke a word to me the entire time. Whenever I asked him a question... All I got for a response was a nod or shake of his head. Some of the other clerks are just as bad, I'll stick to the Hammer Ln. Location from now on. The clerks over there are much more friendly and helpful. read more

ANGRY ANGRY ANGRY..........people that work for the postal service are crazy sometimes! We were sitting here waiting for my granddaughter's birthday present to be delivered yesterday, they NEVER came to the door as 7 of us were sitting in the living room! Got a message that they "had no access to my front door" so therefore they couldn't deliver the package! When I checked online it says "this means they had no access to front door and this happens usually in a gated community". HA!! WHAT????? I live in NO gates at all, they just didn't want to get out of their little mail truck and walk up to my front door to deliver the package! Now she has NO birthday present for her party tonight and I am ANGRY!!!!!! This is NOT the first time this has happened either so I am really mad about it! Do your cotton picking job! read more

Typical government employee bad attitudes. Smart a-- answers to questions, and trying to pick up a package via the side door that the mail man was to lazy to leave at your door in the fist place , or due to his reading of his customers magazines for 20 minutes on end,well bring a chair because it will take at least 15 minutes for them to help you...and they wonder why the U.S.P.S. is in trouble. always slow to deliver mail to your p.o box even though there is a sign stating all will be delivered by 10am. but the main reason for this review is after looking up there hours online both google and the usps website showing there hours as 9am to 5pm and lobby hours 9am to 545pm I arrived at 525pm I find the doors locked. I call the post office after a minute of the phone ringing someone answers I ask about the lobby being open until 545pm she replies they close at 530 pm but then asks what I needed answering I needed to get something from my p.o box the she says sorry that they closed at 530. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a package that said it was delivered and sent to my mailbox (USPS online tracking), but there was no key. I'm not sure which USPS location in Stockton delivered my package, so I will copy and paste this to all the of the offices.I paid about $65 for my package. I called, emailed a claim, wrote emails to different departments, but still no reply in further processing my claim. I've gotten calls from customer representatives, but all they said was they can't help me and are unsure what the next step is. Calling them is pretty much useless unless you have time, or else you will be on hold for a very long time and good luck in emailing them because I have yet to receive a reply. read more

I had just moved out to Stockton from southern Cali. Had to buy money order. The clerk Jeff, had helped himself to $10 cash back without me knowing after I had entered my pin. Did not realized it until I had looked at the receipt 2days later which was too late to complain. Lesson to learn: Always look at your receipt before stepping out. read more

Usually has a long line if you go anytime in the afternoon and they normally only have 2 tellers. If you go to this post office go early.

If you need to buy stamps or send packages via the USPS, this is one of the two locations I recommend. The employees here know their stuff and are friendly and accommodating. Often times if there is a line, an employee will take you out to the Automated Postal Center and guide you through the use of that device. If the lobby hours were better, I'd consider moving my PO box here. read more

Call after call goes unanswered. When after 8 tries someone does pick up they are surly and the call got dropped, or I was hung up on. I live in a community with Mailbox kiosk. If I have outgoing parcel I have to schedule online for them to check my post slot or front porch. I do this and they still miss it :( I try leaving a friendly note in my post box slot, propped up so it can't be missed and parcel under...still it gets missed. The carrier had to place delivered mail on TOP of note, no way to miss it. Laziness, rude, careless...pick one or all!! I even greeted the postal carrier, we exchanged names. I would leave notes with her name and smiley face, used please and thanks...still misses picking up the outgoing mail. Finally get through to a person at the PO, says she'll contact the carrier enroute and have her pick up from my porch. I bet you can guess how well that worked out :/ Lousy service, impolite and lazy. I had much better service when I lived in Discovery Bay so I think it's just this PO has some issues. read more

This post office makes you go postal. I've never had such a frustrating experience at the post office. The post office open at 9 AM, however the employees did not open the doors until 905 and it did not start helping anyone until 9:10 AM. When I got up to the counter I explained I had a change of address and I needed my new mailbox re-keyed. They asked for my ZIP Code and when I told them they said I was at the wrong post office and sent me to a different one across town. When I got to the next post office, which was very friendly and helpful by the way, they told me I needed to be at the Robin Hood post office, which was the original one I was at. Then I had to return to this Robinhood post office for them to process simple request that should've only taken five minutes of my day, but instead took an hour. I understand that zip codes can sound similar but if they would have taken the time to clarify or simply look at my paperwork before sending me away, this would've solved everything. It would also help if they would help customers as soon as they open, because hey, we all have to go to work too. Basically, better costumer service please. read more

This is the second time this post office loses my Priority Mail. The first time, it got lost and it took 11 days for the Inspector General to locate it. At which my credit company charged me $35 late fee. When I complained, the Inspector General said 2 day delivery is never a guarantee and sometimes it can take more than that... I argued what 11 days and she said no but 2 days is not guaranteed. This time, I mailed out another Priority Mail (2 day) which was mailed February 12 to City of Industry, CA. After looking at my tracking number, it ended up in Pennsylvania! How does a 5 hour drive from Stockton to City of Industry become days? I filed a complaint online requesting my money back plus late fee I will have to pay. Now I'm praying that my mortgage company receives my payment tomorrow. I would go to another post office, this one makes too many errors and it will cost you losing money. read more

I placed an order on eBay and was told that the package was delivered when i know for a fact I did NOT get it. I filled out the form and asked for a PHONE CALL and I received a form letter saying that it wasn't the post office fault that I didn't get the package. Funny, how that is when the post office is the one that DELIVERED it incorrectly. I usually use UPS, who will TAKE responsibility for their deliveries. I WILL NEVER SHIP ANYTHING FROM HERE AGAIN!! I needed to ship a package so I waited in line FOREVER(as usual). When I got to the counter, I asked to please use a piece of tape to attach my label. Rex replied "Oh, we don't have any...but you can buy some for $4.99." What post office doesn't have tape? PLUS I could see the giant metal roll of scotch tape right next to him! He clearly lied. I called over and over again for their passport services and was hung up after I finally connected only to find out that they don't offer those services. None of the usps in stockton has any ideas about what services they each offer. If you're not going to offer a service then don't advertise online on multiple sites that you do. read more

This post office wasn't as bad as some I've experienced, but you still have to wait in line for a LONG time. I just don't understand why all the service windows are not used...? There were at least 5 or 6 and only 2 workers when I was there. You would think that management would put more workers in the windows, especially in the month of December, knowing that lots of people will be mailing packages to loved ones all over the world. I didn't find their attitudes to be bad, but they certainly looked like they hated their jobs. I worked for the government for over 20 years and I understand how burned out you become, but it's not the public's fault. It's the responsibility of the organization you work for - it's up to them to provide good morale for their employees, and when that doesn't happen, the employees become disgruntled with their jobs, but are "stuck" in them, because after so many years, the pay and benefits aren't available to them anywhere else. So next time you come across a government worker in any field and they look angry or depressed, it is most likely because of this situation. Give them a smile and ask them how they're doing and it just might make their day! read more

I'm in San Joaquin County, the Calaveras Station Post Office. Last year the Post Office changed the hours that we could get into our PO Boxes to the regular hours of operation plus 40 minutes. I was told due to recent break-ins that the PO Box accessibility would be restricted to the hours that the post office was open plus the 40 minutes while final duties were being done. I didn't like this change as I've always felt that the Post Office needed to deal with the problem rather than just giving in and closing the accessibility to the PO Boxes. Private Companies that have PO Boxes seem to be able to operate with 24/7 accessibility. Now the post office has a new manager who is not very nice or friendly. Her new policy is closing the accessibility at the same time as the post office. Even the extra 40 minutes is gone. I'm sorry but I do not like picking up my mail during post office hours, it is busy, there is no parking, and it is an inconvenience to me. At a time that I read that the US Post Office is in financial difficulty I can certainly see why. Where an easy solution to this would be to allow Box holders to have a key or bob for entry, along with a camera and possibly security. An extra charge to have a key could be imposed. If someone didn't want to have accessibility they could opt not to pay extra for the key and only be able to access their Box during regular hours. A look at how these private businesses are able to allow access should be explored. To simply burden and inconvenience us the customer due to some bad people is unfair and is not a good or thought out solution. What did we do and why should we be inconvenienced? We don't even get our rate reduced, we simply get screwed. read more
