So we had no reason to think ID would be required. When we arrived here, the employee who helped us was immediately hostile. He insisted on using my daughter's phone to view the delivery notification, then demanded my daughter's ID. When she explained she didn't have it, he agreed to accept my vehicle registration since it shows my matching address. After I went outside to get it, he suddenly changed his mind and refused to accept it -- even though the registration was current and clearly dated. He became more confrontational, repeating that it "wasn't his fault we weren't prepared," and claimed there was a sign posted requiring ID. When I asked him to show me where this sign was, he refused and brushed me off. The entire interaction was rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily aggressive. After reading other Yelp reviews for this location, it's clear this behavior is a pattern. The building is rundown, and the customer service is consistently reported as hostile. This location desperately needs better communication and staff who actually want to help customers instead of arguing with them. The particular representative looks to be of Hispanic descent, anywhere between 30 to 40 years old, tall with a muscular build just to give anyone a better physical image of the person who I encountered.

I've stopped by this place a couple times last month to send out both Christmas cards and Passport renewal. Both times, it was quite quick. I may have waited once as there was one person in front of me, but after they resolved their sending, it was in and out for me in terms of payment. Both times there's a lovely lady who helped me out with a smile. Parking can be a hassle as there's only a small lot, and be careful because folks don't look when they come out of their spots. I've gotten hit almost a couple times as people quickly pulled out of their spots. But I think that's just something to be cautious of when in a parking lot. Otherwise, nice to have a small spot to help with my postal needs.
