Been comin here long time since its close to me. The 2 ladys Sherry and Rosa are the most rudest unhappy people I've ever met ! We are the customers and not one time in all the years I been going here have I ever seen neither one smile. The lady sherry is like happy with who she wants she seems racist forgive me. And they get attitude because I ask to take photos of my stamped packages for my small business. Like really? I try my hardest to keep my Godliness but after S made a rude comment attitude I've had it. We are the customers and we are paying and they chose to work there knowing you have to deal with people if they don't like people they shouldn't work there!! Different people come to post office for their postal needs for different reasons they dont need to go there and feel uncomfortable. Ended up driving to the address my package was wrongly delivered to and picking it up MYSELF. Apparently the homeowner stated a few of our packages and general mail gets delivered there on occasion and if they don't personally catch the mail person to hand package or mail back that it just sits in their large mail box untouched. So whoever's delivering mail to not only the wrong address is also not paying attention when there's mail or packages sitting there for multiple days. read more

Today as I waited in line to pick up my package I witness how poorly Sherri treated two people who were looking to pick up a package. She belittled them and truly provided the worst customer service I've seen. I was dreading the possibility of having to interact with her. There were two other post office workers there and I was hoping to meet with them. To my luck, I spoke to Sherri. She asked for my tracking number and as the number was ridiculously long I handed her my phone so she could read off it, thinking it would facilitate things. With attitude all over she states "why does everyone have to give me their phone" If giving her my phone made it challenging because of her eye sight, she could have easily said, "I'm sorry, it actually makes it more challenging, as I don't have the best eye sight, can you please read it off" I proceeded to let her know to hand me my phone and I'll read it, she ignored me. I then called her by her name and said "Sheri, hand me my property" she ignored me again. I spoke to Terri the manager on duty and expressed my frustration and brought to their attention the terrible and unprofessional attitude Sherri gave. Terri mentioned that it's an ongoing issue and that Sherri has actually gotten better. This is not okay, and unacceptable. Sherri, do better! read more

UPDATE- Filed a formal complaint with the BBB. I encourage anyone else who has had a similar experience to mine to also file a complaint. Every time I go in here the long haired blonde woman Sherry/Sherri is so rude! Numerous times she's been rude to me and also other customers. No manners at all! Today I had finally had enough and spoke up. I told her that this is her job, doesn't she understand that? She is capable of being nice because a gentleman that she knew went up to the counter and she was very nice to him, even laughing and joking. The next man she helped after him she told that the "boxes are not a puzzle!" How dare you speak to people this way! I asked for the supervisor who was very kind and made sure I was taken care of professionally. She is the only reason I'm even giving 2 stars because the blonde woman doesn't deserve any. If you HATE your job that much and don't know how to speak to human beings then maybe you should quit.. it would definitely make my mornings in this post office a better experience. read more

East Main office has excellent customer service. I had two huge packages to ship. They were very helpful. One of the employees helped me with the tape it got stuck. She even had jokes. I saw the comments and was unsure of going. Go early in the morning to beat the rush. I will definitely go there again. Mahalo read more

I have nothing but good things to say about our USPS. It's been reliable and consistent. The East Main office is conveniently located for me and they always have good, efficient service at the counter and if I need any customer service I can actually speak to a real person that cares and is professional. We should all support our mail carriers and stop any thoughts of shutting them down! read more

Just stay away if you can. Service is on average terrible. There are a few times when the employees are friendly and helpful. But if you value your time and like consistency go else where. Long lines, grumpy employees, and clueless customers trying to handle all sorts of business (self included). It's like the DMV, but at least you can make an appointment with the DMV and have some one on one help. This is my local office so I have to go through them to pick up my packages. I used them to mail out my passport renewal application and it was a headache.. luckily it was sent. But next time I will use a different post office. read more

I mailed a certified letter over 2 months ago and the postal service lost it. I was instructed to call the East Stockton post office, every time you call you are routed to a voicemail box that was full (can't leave a message). I've made about a million phone calls and USPS employees route me around in circles, give me wrong #'s to call, and I sit on hold for anywhere from 10-30 minutes per call. When I am able to speak with someone they say I'll get a phone call and no one calls me back or has a solution for me. I spoke to a lady in Sacramento that said she would walk over and leave a note in the sorting facility (since they don't have phones) as that was the last place that it was "scanned' and maybe where it was lost, and days later when I called back she said that was the best she could do, I asked for her supervisor and she said she would call me - never did. I called the 800 number again, received my third "case" number. Today, I got a phone call from another one of their "supervisors" saying that she tried to call the East Stockton post office to research it and that she couldn't leave a message. Lady, I know, I went through that weeks ago. She said to resend the letter and that I would get my $3.50 postage back. Guess what - the letter that I mailed contained a cashiers check for a lot of money, and to have it re-issued will cost me $232 as I have to purchase a bond. That's why I sent it certified. The best part is that while I'm on hold on the phone forever I get to listen to the endless loop of advertising saying how reliable certified mail is. Any suggestions are welcome as I'm at my wits end. read more

Let start by saying I sell online like a part time job so I go to the post office often but I try to avoid this location. The customer service is terrible. (Sherri) the front counter lady is first off so rude I once went in to send off an item I sold on Tradesy which I am giving a prepaid priority label so I asked if there were any of the regular priority box in the back which are free. She reply no which she didn't not even leave the counter to go look. So now I'm forced to buy a post ready brand box for 3.19. Which I get put my item in and tape it up real good and then I proceed to the line and once again (Sherri)is my customer rep so I tell her I need to add more insurance to my package and she informed that I can't not and I told her I send my packages all the time with additional insurance she said it's against policy so I said okay well I'm not going to send it. She then said now you owe me 3.19 for the box I said I'm not paying if I can't use the box here. So the manager/supervisor (Virginia) came by my request after a 20 min wait. She came out and listened to the store but like so annoyed after everything I also told her how every other post office does it. And she agreed to ship with additional insurance. And once she informed the way I said all other post office do it she replied I know how to do it you don't need to tell me. Like really what is your problem then. Now That's gets me to my last week experience where right when I walked in they were both there and immediately recognize me and then the attitude began and this time I was turned away after a brief disagreement so the next day I go to another post office and once again I'm able to ship with additional insure with out a problem not at one location but two. They really need to get some new training and also customer service skills. read more

I continue to receive my neighbors mail, which I have to give to them and I'm sure someone else gets mines because bills don't come as they should and my packages are always torn like someone is taking a peek inside. My mailbox is a locked box so it's either my mail carrier or someone at the office but I know that they don't come from Amazon like this. The parking at the Channel Post Office is absolutely ridiculous. When they relocated, why didn't they relocate to a building with adequate parking ??? If I could give this 0 stars I would. The place closes at 5. They are already locking up before then and have such a terrible attitude when you're trying to pick something up before it even closes. Package was supposed to be delivered and was not stating business closed. Package was supposed to be delivered to my home. I was advised by USPS tracking to call local post office. I called and was prompted to leave a message but the mailbox was full. This is the second problem in a week with delivery. First problem was when the mail man who was not our regular guy tossed a small package over our fence on to the lawn instead of putting it in the mail box. The package was there for a couple of hours then someone came into our yard and took it. We have video of this and have logged a complaint. read more
