All the locations I've used in St Louis had helpful staff. Or upstate IL too. They have all been decent. What is the deal with Edwardsville? Supplies can be ordered online from usps.com. I highly recommend that if you just need stamps. Mailing a package.... i probably will use UPS or FedEx next time. The staff here are just flat out rude. It's amazing. I've lived in 6 states over the years. This is the worst post office annex I've encountered. The manager should step in but don't hold your breath. I think nationally the PO is doing the best it can overall. However, don't expect a polite clerk who is helpful if you use this location. Just get in/out as fast as you can but....warning..... the line may be long. Too bad they don't install seating. It'd be useful.

I mailed a letter certified mail which should arrive in 3-5 days ( sent on 3/20/2024 asked if it would arrive by 4/1/24 the response was "it will arrive in plenty of time ") It has been 2 1/2 months and we still have not recd our check. We had to pay for a certificated mail. Pay to stop payment and pay a fine for being a late payment. We asked supervisor (Stephanie) for a refund and she refused. She stated that the letter was delivered. But it took over 2 1/2 months that is not an acceptable timeframe. We are still looking for the check we sent. Give your business to other Post Offices NOT Collinsville.

It was extremely busy, long line and wait. Despite that, The lady I spoke with was very helpful and patient, I had tons of questions. Usually when you get to the front the clerk is mean and nasty but not in this case. She explained the fee, what not to write on the application, how to the fee is broken down and times for processing his application. Now, today I tryed my best to get here at 9am but didn't make it till 9:18am. Already there were 2 people waiting to get processed and 1 already being seen. The wait wasn't that long... I believe we were there for 45 mins. That included the wait in line of 3 ppl, processing our application and paying! It's best to have all paperwork filled out when you get there. If not, the wait could be longer! Zelda was Awesome... She processed my sons passport application, super friendly and fast! I normally don't go to this post office but at the end of the day I would go back if I needed too!

I eventually got waited on at 0950. If I wanted an 0950 appt time, that's when I would have booked it. This post office showed no consideration for customer's time.
