Mark is very impatient and rude. I say this from several encounters. HE does NOT like questions, of any kind... and makes you feel stupid for asking them. The only reason to come to this Post Office is Mark. He is so kind, thorough, and patient. Hawaiian music plays softly in the background. I can bring in 30 packages and he is always happy to help. Always super fast. There can be a line at times, but they help people quickly without making them feel rushed.

I am a constant shipper at this small post office on Citrus Dr. Sometimes I make two visits in one day - from Santa Paula. I have watched the US postal worker(s) at Citrus show what I would call extreme patience with everyone. Even those who take five minutes to see if there is a particular special collectors stamp for them to buy - then buy nothing - while we all roll our eyes. Some come in acting helpless and place a pile of packaging and stuffing on the counter and expect him or her to pack it which they do within limits and with extreme patience and courtesy. They really do "nice" and with no backup if the line gets 10 long and their hour lunch break is 10 minutes away. For every negative comment one sees there are likely 1000-2000 of us quite satisfied with the postal workers and service here and look forward to seeing the person behind the counter. I left the store crying. Mark was abrasive, condescending and refused to clarify questions. I have never in my life experienced such an awful human in a customer service role who clearly had no problem making someone cry. I just didn't understand what he was telling me and he refused to clarify - he sent me away. The women behind me in line witnessed the entire scene and kindly helped me when he turned me away and said go to another post office because they're kind and helpful. I just didn't think a simple trip to the post office would upset my day so much. I wouldn't review negatively but just to inform customers: The attendee is proficient but he spends time fraternizing with each client AFTER THEIR BUSINESS IS COMPLETED, for some length of time. Most customers are ancient and this is a lovely break in their day. I count those in front of me and multiply by 7. This calms me down!! I just know that I am grateful for this location. I'm surprised it is still open. If I were mobile, I'd choose the Montalvo USPS. It is climate controlled and serves a broad demographic, so not so many unconscious customers. read more

I frequent this office because it's close to my work. If I had a post office close to my home, I would choose to avoid this location. Mark can be unfriendly and rude. I asked him if he could stamp "Fragile" and his response - "You must have not packaged it correctly." He also told me I can write it myself next time. I just brushed him off and explained that I did tape it down to card board and wrapped the item with tissue. Just want extra security. This office is inept in every way for this of us with a PO Box. Mail lost/misdelivered FAR too often. Lobby hours reduced (due to vandalism), including closed on weekends, which is truly inconvenient but...I guess deal with it...except THEN they are often quite late opening per their posted times. Unacceptable. Will NOT hold mail if you go on vacation even though you turn in the request. They just keep jamming the mail in. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Done! read more

Gale is so helpful! This USPS location is in the Saticoy area so locals don't have to drive all the way to the Victoria branch located across from Buena High School. Gale is great and her customer service is A+ quality. A small line does tend to form around lunch and closing times but, this location is great about sending you off on a timely manner with your packages intact and ready for travel. I suggest coming here instead of the Victoria USPS (Victoria's customer service is not something to brag about) read more

At this post office you really can only do one thing is mail your your mail or having a mailbox there. But anything else regarding the United States Postal Service you really can't do here. So if you have informed delivery you actually have to go to the main post office is in Ventura. read more

Hours are limited due to budget cuts, but the staff is friendly and always nice even when the line is out the door!

This location definitely needs two registers, two cashiers. This afternoon, the line was out the door, but I figured it would go fast. I ended up waiting 20 minutes, and the line moved two people. Complete waste of time. read more
