He explained what Staple's offered. After awhile I decided which chair would suit my purposes and found Josh. I purchased the chair with assembly. He told me he'd call in the morning to let me know when it was done and could be picked up. The next morning, he called, as promised. When I walked inside, the staff refused to take my packages, claiming the registers were already shut down. As I went back to my car to grab my phone, they immediately locked the door behind me. If a business states they are open until 4:00 PM, they should accept customers until 4:00 PM. Turning away paying customers early is completely unacceptable.

Another good friend helped me assemble the design in Photoshop, and I took the finished mock-up to Cyber Copy, where I met Johnny. He was exceptionally helpful and brought me up to date on what modern printing equipment could do to make the photographs look their best. With so many details involved in planning the memorial, the photo board had been left until nearly the last minute. Then, when rough seas forced us to cancel the scattering of ashes, we had to move the memorial dinner to an earlier time--which meant I suddenly needed the board even sooner than expected. CyberCopy completed the printing ahead of time and had everything ready for me on the day of the memorial. The finished board was absolutely beautiful. Everyone admired it, and seeing all those photographs--many of which included the very people gathered there that evening--created an especially touching and meaningful moment. When I think about how painstaking the effort would have been for me to do by hand, I was amazed at the professionalism and quality of the finished board and how reasonably priced it was. I am tremendously grateful to Johnny and Cyber Copy for helping me complete something so important in time. I have been sitting on several more complicated printing projects, assuming I would have to find a large print shop in Los Angeles. Those fears are now completely allayed. Update: I got a call this morning from FedEx. They said they were trying to get information on an…read moreapartment number. HOW?????? I have now told FedEx FOUR times JUST for this package. I do not understand how this can be this difficult. I don't have a lot of hope of getting future packages. Apparently delivering a package is very difficult for FedEx. I've lived in my apartment building for two weeks and I've already had two packages delayed because they can't seem to figure out how to deliver it. The first one, they called and said it was delayed because there was no apartment number. I said it's because there is no apartment number. Each apartment has it's own address. They delivered it the next day. Now on week two, they call me again and say the same thing about another package. I called the main FedEx number and told them how frustrating it was, asked how they delivered packages before I moved in, and explained that this package was a $200 annual parking pass and I would now have to pay $10 to park because this package is now three days late being delivered. All the delivery person has to do is get out of the truck and look at the numbers. They said they would add a note and it would be here today. Nope! I just called again and chewed the customer service guy out (although I told him I knew this wasn't his fault). How hard is this???? Seriously, IT'S YOUR ONLY JOB!!
