I received an email saying my package is delivered in locker at my PO Box. I went and spoke with the manager Justin who was nice, he said it arrived but it's missing. When I asked who worked that morning, I questioned if an employee took it. How does my package disappear if it says it's in a locker? I don't recommend using PO Box at this location. Interesting, mail gets stolen at my mail box and now at PO Box too...Justin said I can file a claim online. He was nice, but I'm let down. My friend warned me about Utahs bad postal service. No pens! They have several areas where the chains are that pens are supposed to be connected to, but zero pens. I came in to send a check through priority mail, but I needed to write something on the check. I also didn't see the priority mail envelopes or slips to fill out. I'm sure they operate fine as a post office, but no pens is a problem, and must certainly be a small reason why it's always so busy, because people can't prefill out any information and must do it when then get to the counter. read more

very sad that no one writes a review unless that they get mad over an isolated event. I went on a Saturday and there was not a long line and was able to mail 8 packages in about 10 minutes. very fast and incredibly friendly service. Every time (handful) I have stopped here because it is open later on Saturdays to deliver a package their scanner is down. This place is the most unreliable USPS in the valley and should just close. I wish it would just be gone rather than giving hope of being open late. read more

I would be very careful with this location apparently they hang up on you when they don't want to hear your complaint and apparently the mailman can decide whether or not he wants to deliver mail to you or just decide to send it back. Pretty crappy operations going on here. read more

Lines are always short in the mornings and Custer service is great here. I've never had an issue sending off packages or wrapping everything here at the post office. This is seriously the worst post office I have ever been to. Unfortunately I have to use this post office to get my mail keys. When we first needed to get the keys the personnel there seemed like they did NOT want to even bother with the situation. The staff seems like they really don't enjoy their jobs and/or don't know what they are doing. One of the female employees seems very knowledgeable there, like she's been there a while, but she lacks customer service due to the fact that she never smiles and doesn't want to help you figure out a solution to your issues. Don't bother trying to call the place either. You'll need about an hour of spare time because you end up talking to a recorded voice with several different options that even if you wanted to just get through and hit any of the options, it still directs you to go online. If I could put negative stars I would. If I could use a different post office I would. If you have a chance to avoid this place, even if it's an extra bit of a drive, do it. read more

I've had multiple issues with this office and mail carrier. They do not deliver my certified mail and just leave a "final attempt" notice in my mailbox when I've never gotten a first attempt. They will be lazy and not deliver packages and will scan the package as "undeliverable because of blocked driveway" - I live in an apartment building with no driveway to be blocked. They will never answer the phones unless you call consumer care and they transfer you because, unless the call comes from their own people, they don't care. The supervisor Chris, is friends with the mail carriers so if you ever have a problem, he will just dismiss your side of the issue like, because "he knows them and they do a good job" even when his employees don't do a good job. And again, that's even if you can get through to speak to him. I've put holds on mail, because I will just not get packages even though it says delivered, and they will hold some of it but still deliver half of my mail to the box (?). I know there is nothing we can do as consumers since it's subsidized by the government, so I'm writing this review so if anyone else has issues, they know it's not just them, but the whole office itself is full of self serving people who know they don't have to hold up to the standards they are trained to uphold. If you have ever seen the Popcopy episode of Chappelle's Show, this is exactly what it's like haha. Ridiculous. I would suggest just calling Consumer Care @ 801 974 2332 if you ever actually want to speak to somebody at the office. Good luck. read more

I opened a PO Box here 6 months ago. Although I've opened PO Boxes in the past in different locations like Provo, UT, Hawaii and Florida. I can honestly say this particular location has been the worst service for several reasons. I do a lot of online ordering from ebay and Amazon and they usually arrive quickly without any problem. But at this PO in West Valley, more than 50% of the time my orders will arrive and sit for 2-3 days in their back receiving dock or they leave it up front by my PO Box, but don't put a key or notice to pick it up. And I have to wait in line to ask the supervisor or someone else to look at the tracking information and search for it. Then they finally find it, usually somewhere where it shouldn't be is what they told me, and is why they had trouble finding it. This shouldn't be happening in the first place if whoever it was who received it, did their job properly, but it seems deliberate because its happened many times. Not only that but I've found at least 3 of my orders that were sent in envelops, were cut opened and taped closed again. And today I found out my order from Amazon that was sitting the past 3 days just behind my PO Box, I found this out because I asked a postal worker to check and they found it there. But when the postal worker brought it out, it appeared the Amazon packing tape was cut straight with a scissors on both ends and the tape and shipping label in the middle was forced and torn open. The postal employee said she thinks something was dropped on the amazon box to break open all the tape on the box. But that doesn't explain how perfectly straight the tape on the sides were cut. Also it would be difficult to completely break all the tape and the shipping label in half, unless someone was forcing it open. Not including the other 3 envelops that were cut opened. I know the sellers would not risk sending opened envelops and boxes, because they would lose business from angry customers. As soon as my last orders arrive, I will ask to speak with the supervisor to explain all this, and ask for a refund of the PO Box rental. Whoever the postal employees responsible for receiving the packages for the PO boxes at this location are terrible and should know better. read more

west valley uspa is the biggest crappiest mail carriers ever and the guy who runs the place is shitty at his job I have live at my address for 4 years and I never get my mail I always get everyone elses so my bills are late I don't receive gift cards I am sent today my item I purchased was sent to my neighbors its a good thing they are honest people I have mave several several complaints asking for this to be resolved they do not care about customers mail or the security of their purchases its always lost misdelivered ALWAYS they suck they need to find someone who cares about the privacy and accuracy of their mail delivery system and don't get me started on ups read more

i have lived in my home for 20yrs and i still get other peoples mail and others get mine. i lost a very important package yesterday sent to me... says delivered to my box... i didnt have a key in my box and both big boxes had keys in them which tells me again the postal worker put the key in the wrong box.. most neighbors will not give you your mail if it is delivered wrong since there are too many gangster homes here. please get your s**t together and put it in the correct boxes.. i wont go door to door looking for my lost package... would you!!!!!!!!! read more
