Always quick and friendly service! Plenty of parking. Plenty of workers to help. I prefer this post office to others close by.

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews. The staff here are great, fast and the line moves fast. I much prefer this location over Calimesa which is slow and only has 6 parking spots. read more

For several years I have complained about the door on my mailbox not being closed by the carrier. It's left open anywhere from an inch to 3/4 open. I've heard many excuses from them of why it's not closed, which is hogwash. If I can close it completely, so can they. However, this time was the last straw! I requested on 10/15/24 that my mail be held from 10/18/24 through today, 10/21/24. I came home yesterday to my mailbox door open almost all the way with mail in it!!!! What the heck??!! I live in a nice, quiet, senior mobile home park and, other than my issues, I know of no one else in the park having such lousy service. If it wasn't such and inconvenience and cost, I'd get a post office box at The UPS Store. read more

I'm guessing someone at the post office wanted my delivery from Hempbombs more that I did. It was delivered to them from UPS on the 14th, today is the 26th, no one will answer the phone. I called 4x and was hung up all 4x. This is why they will go out of business and other delivery services will take over. Just wow, I hope whomever has 'accepted' my package is enjoying it. read more

This post office is really bad as are the delivery personnel. Today they left the front of our multiple mailbox in a residential area open, with all the mail that was delivered available for anyone to take. Usually they deliver mail to the wrong box, which happens very often. They have been so bad for so many years we actually go to another town post office to use any services. They never answer the local phone number during business office, and this is after letting it ring until disconnects up to 10 times in a row. They are unprofessional, careless and inaccurate and a disgrace. read more

First time coming to this post office and I had a feeling my request to pick up Mail would not be accepted. I spoke to the lady at the front desk who told me she would have a supervisor contact me. I am so tried of people that are so lazy now a days its sickening!!!! I have to park in front of my house which is on a corner street,the mailbox is 18 feet from the corner. And I leave 7 to 8 feet in between the two cars that are parked on both sides of the mailbox. Well I get my mail today and there's a hand written notice that he can't get out of his mailbox everyday because its to hard to make all his rounds!!! So you can't take 10 seconds to slide that door and walk 6 steps and put that mail in the mailbox??? Man I remember when the REAL MAIL MAN used to walk up and down 5 or 6 streets to deliver mail not that long ago!!! read more

RESIDENTS & BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE! We are a business who had an employee drop our mail in the outside post box. In that drop there were many checks to vendors.... we started getting calls from them stating our invoices were past due. I called the Yucaipa Post Office to ask if that box had been vandalized, they stated that they didn't recommend putting checks in that box because they have had problems with people "fishing" mail out. I called today to let them know they do have a problem and that they need to put a sign up so residents know NOT to put checks in the outside receptacle. One of our checks was washed and they got away with over $15,000. Don't be a victim! read more

I travel from Yucaipa to the US Post Office on Park Street in Redlands (20 minutes) to mail anything because they are so polite, honest, helpful, and quick to help me at that site. I know when I mail something from there it will get sent in a timely manner. Unlike the office in Yucaipa who finds excuses to charge extra for a card or steals your packages; or in Killeen who delivered my Father's day card 8 weeks late. read more

We expected an EMS package but an email notification says the package will be delivered tomorrow, so we left home. When we return, there was another email from USPS saying "Sorry we missed you!" Oddly, there was no notification left. So, I went to the USPS website to check when they came. It says it was 1:34pm. We left home at 3:35pm; by then, we two adults were at home working in the quiet home. Very weird. FORTUNATELY, we have a surveillance camera in the front yard and our doorbell has a camera (both detect motion). No one on the cameras other than us and 2 UPS delivery guys today. Since same thing happened before (no notification left, website said they attempted to deliver but no one at home, even my husband was at home), now I am very skeptical what they are doing; are they manipulating their delivery records? First time this happened, I mentioned to a Postal Service Clerk at the service counter that we did not receive a notification, no one on the camera, etc. when I picked up our box. The Clark who brought our box from the back confirmed saying "it is very strange but it seems no one attempted to deliver this box. I apologize." He was sincere and I thought this is an isolated incident, so I moved on. But if the same thing happens twice, this is more than just a mistake or coincident. We will visit USPS, Yucaipa on Monday (it's Saturday), and we will show all the evidence - emails, tracking information from this time and from July when they did the same thing, and video clips to confront the management there. This is serious malpractice if some USPS employees are actually tempering their delivery records or is this USPS organizational practice to minimize their cost and let customers pick up their packages? I do not believe so but I would like to make them stop making mistakes or being lazy. We will demand USPS to investigate these incidents thoroughly and inquire clear explanation and answers why these happened, and how they change their practice to avoid issues like this. Original review I held off on posting on Sept 2020 because I wanted to see if they called me back or improved. NOPE! EFF this place! Employee James is a rude, condescending $&%#! that's has no business working with the public . I get that customers can be awful, but his damn horrible attitude over my question put him in defensive mode instantly and wouldn't let me finish my questions and talked over me. This is the SECOND time a San Bernardino county post office doesn't deliver a package that was sent. Update: once again, go there to pick up a package and they can't find it. People here are very rude and lazy. I received a package and they have it and won't let me get If I walked into the office. Always say you won't get it till tomorrow, my old office location let me get the item. This Yucaipa location doesn't let you always say the same " We can't go get it,it's sitting in a container." Why can other locations get it give you you're package. I know we are all lazy at times but Yucaipa postal workers are above and beyond more then just lazy. Very disappointed in the USPS read more

Unfortunately I can't give them zero or a half-star, because based on MY experience with them over the last 3 years it's a stretch that they've scored that high. From rude & uneducated counter staff to now my second interaction with a supervisor (aka the idiot in charge of the morons) I am now convinced the USPS should be eliminated & mail delivery privatized. The particulars of this most recent interaction are these; a book I ordered was jammed into my PO Box instead of being placed in a parcel locker. The supervisor displayed an attitude that would be best described as, "She wouldn't have spit on me if I was on fire." I also asked that mailers that I had previously opted out of NOT be jammed in my box. The illustrious "leader" said she'd take care of it & turned to walk away. I had to remind her that she might want my PO Box # as that would probably help her in her quest to provide half-ass service. Every time I use USPS my local post office take 2-3 extra days to deliver anything requiring a signature. The I always camp out for the mailman and he never delivers them. Then, tracking number tells me that they tried, and I wasn't there. I call the USPS post office and they never answer. read more

Spent $20 additional to send Priority and was told my package would be there in 2-3 days VS a week. It was still a week to get there but now I'm out $20. "No guarantee of time of arrival even with Priority" is what should have been told to me by the clerk. Won't be going to this post office again. read more

My package was delivered to the wrong address and when I tried to contact them they they gave me very vague information and then told me to call again later. My package was lost on the 24th of June and now it's the 14 of July, I've tried to call them to ask about my package but whenever I call they don't pick up and today they just up right hanged up the phone on me. I've been very patient since I know how it feels to deal with customer service but this is just outrageous! Sherry (not sure of spelling) is very rude and argumentative. Our mail was forwarded after we moved and the post office made a mistake and didn't forward a package. Sherry lied and said she called and left me several messages about the package (I did not receive 1 voicemail ever). Its very frustrating that she has a government job and treats residents in this manner. I never received an apology and was treated horrible by this employee. Very frustrating!!!! read more

Slow service, long lines, preoccupied clerks. Our community mailbox was broken into five weeks ago, when I inquire about when it will be replaced I was told that they are mailboxes from summer that have not been replaced. Mind you it is now end of February! The time, gas, and pollution of all of the people who have to drive up to the P.O. ridiculous! They could at least deliver the packages like they used to the front door. I was told that there are substitutes delivering and sometimes they do deliver and sometime they don't. Their customer service and dedication is no good. My package was lost by the mail person that was delivering it, he actually delivered it by mistake to another house and it has been a month since that has happened. It was a product that I had purchased for $60.00. I did get in contact with the US Post Office of Yucaipa since I live in Yucaipa and they kept giving me the run around. The last person I had spoken to by phone said to bring in to the Yucaipa Post Office my receipt to prove that I actually purchased item with tracking number, so I did. The supervisor didn't even look at the receipt the person on the phone had said was so important; she just told me that I will get a call, it has been 2 weeks now since that encounter and no call. It is sad you would think they care about their customers turns out they don't. Poor service do not recommend hopefully you guys do not have this happen to you guys. read more

So there have been a couple times over the years where I've had to contact the Yucaipa Post Office for help with a delivery issue. Given the amount of mail that our local USPS office delivers. things are going to happen. Perfection is a goal and not a reality - especially for a government entity. I recently required assistance and contacted the Yucaipa annex by phone. I explained the situation and was assured that it would be looked into. Before the end of the day I was contacted in person by our carrier and twice via phone by the Yucaipa USPS representative. The issue was resolved in an extremely efficient and timely manner. Lets give our under appreciated USPS employees some credit and a thank you every now and then.
