Store provided an estimate of a flat fee of $50 to replace my outer screen. Went to the store they wanted a $50 deposit, which I paid. Came back for the repair they had ordered the wrong screen. When they got the correct screen I went back for the repair, was charged another $278. That's $328 total to replace the outer screen on a Motorola razr 2025 ultra. These people are thieves. DISHONEST and SCAMMER I never put comments on reviews before but this store makes me to write one. I went to the store on 7/13/23 to get my laptop computer battery replaced. I agree to pay an amount of $249.99 for the job and gave the laptop to them I received my laptop after I paid $249.99. I also asked them the warranty period and they told me to bring if the laptop has any issues related to the battery with in one month. After few days the laptop keeps showing error message and it stops working I took it back on the next day and explained them what happened. The guy (owner)told me he will further check it and kept the laptop with him. After few days I went to the store to check on my laptop. He told me he couldn't fix the problem and he gave me two options. 1.To refund me $189.99 after deducting his labor cost. 2. To buy different laptop with discounted price. I declined his options instead I asked him to refund the whole amount ($249.99) because I cannot pay labor cost for laptop which is not working at all. He refused to refund me the whole amount and he took the replaced battery out and he told me he disposed the old battery. Now I am in the process of Disputing This is not Fake review. I had an iPhone "cracked screen" repair done. I was very happy with the service (15 min and the guy was nice) but I would like to point out that when I called and asked for an estimate of the screen repair I was told $49; however when I got there it turns out that it wasn't just the screen broken but the LCD unit - charge $120. Many people do not know there is a difference so when someone calls for an estimate it would be helpful to point out that if it's just the glass screen it is one fee but if the whole LCD unit is affected it's an additional fee. read more

DO NOT go here. nice people but GO TO APPLE instead. I took my iphone 11promax here to get the back of the phone fixed because it was cracked. i had a cosmetic I issue ONLY. One of the workers there pressured me into changing my battery Because he claimed that i HAD to do this to avoid issues with my phone. Long story short I was charged $300 and was given a BROKEN PHONE. The battery replacement did not help but actually ended up HURTING ME. My phone turns off every 30 seconds, does not hold a charge, and you get an error message saying "unable to verify authentic Apple battery". Today the phone went completely blank. I had to buy a brand new phone from apple. moral of the story is if you have an issue with your iPhone just go to APPLE. SKIP THESE GUYS. read more

I took my iphone 10 to get the screen repaired due to some cracks, and because the screens for the iphone 10's are now glass, the entire face has to be replaced. I must say that I was greatly impressed with the owner, he was friendly, professional, and detailed about the repair. He quoted me the price of $160 and it was well worth it, and my phone was repaired in 10 minutes, and by the way this guy is the cheapest around. I called the Apple Store and the price was $329, I also called a few more repair shops and found nothing under $250, until I went to this location. When I called about the pricing for changing my iPhone's broken screen, they told it will cost me $50 (their exact advertised price for iPhone 6 on Craigslist). Drove there in my lunch break. After pushing on the phone's cracks for a few seconds, the gentleman said that it is not only the glass broken, but also the screen itself is damaged. As I know, iPhone screens (digitizers) have already glass attached on them and the two are replaced as a whole unit. I was given a new price of $130 to replace both glass and the screen. I said no. He said he would give me $30 discount and replace the two pieces for $100 because I drove a long way to get there (although, I told him it took me 10 minutes of driving -). I said no and left. Sitting in my car, I found another repair place 5 minutes away, on the same road, which offered me to fix my phone for $55 in 15 minutes. 20 minutes later I had my iPhone's screen (digitizer + glass) replaced for $55. Perfect example of false advertising and losing customers' business. read more

This is the 2nd time I have had to get my cell phone screen fixed. The first time, I went to Forever Wireless in the Plaza on Reisterstown Road. Let me tell you, this place BLOWS that location way out of the water. The guys at US Wireless are not only knowledgeable, their prices are extremely reasonable and they are FAST. When I went to Forever Wireless I had the worst experience trying to get my shattered screen replaced. Imagine my surprise when, just 2 months later, I was able to crack my new screen with my bare hands. I knew something was wrong with that and was determined to find somewhere else to get my phone fixed at a reasonable rate. I called around and several places were charging anywhere from $140 - $160 for the replacement screen - basically the same price as it would be to get a brand new phone through insurance. When I called US Wireless repair, they gave me a basic quote of $75-85 depending on the severity of the damage and told me that I could walk right in without an appointment or anything. I came in right as they opened and they told me that it would be $79.99 for the screen repair (just the glass was cracked) but that there would be an additional $25 if they had to add adhesive glue to make sure the touch screen functions properly, etc. He said they wouldn't know until the phone was opened up - I was just amazed that I had never heard of this since, you know, I just got a new screen a few months back (which was clearly janky). They replaced the screen in 30 minutes flat. I could not believe it - I waited over 2 hours for Forever Wireless to do the same thing...with much less emphasis on customer service. The guys who did my phone at US Wireless knew immediately that I had the screen replaced before - and that it was not nearly up to par. They asked and I told them about my stint at Forever Wireless. They informed me that I had NO adhesive glue behind that 'new" screen that I paid the SAME price for - which is why my touch screen was never really the same and the keys/numbers would stick. Also, he said that it contributed to the reasons why I had trouble with service sometimes! My screen looked totally different - just like new - not like the seemingly plexi-glass screen that Forever Wireless gave me. Overall - this place is everything. They have GREAT service and they know their stuff. They repair all kinds of electronics and they did an excellent job fixing my phone and making sure everything was in place - FAST AND AFFORDABLE. That's what you really need when getting a cracked screen replaced! read more

And then the "check in" deal and the voucher you can purchase wouldnt apply to my 6s. They forgot to put the "restrictions" in the ad. They were friendly but I would go elsewhere. read more

I made the mistake of taking my working iPhone 6+ here for a replacement battery in October 2018. The store manager (owner?) worked on it for about 45 minutes on and off and then told me that he had tried 4 new batteries, it was not charging, and he'd get back to me after trying a battery from a different store (in case their battery batch was bad). He asked me if I left it on a charger overnight. I later received a voicemail that *I* had destroyed the phone by overcharging at night and that they'd "only" charge me a $20 service fee. A very fast Google search revealed multiple articles from 2014 to present that there is no such thing as destroying a modern safe-guarded cell phone through overcharging - you can shorten the battery life charging overnight, but the phone is protected. I printed several articles out, took them to the store, and managed to retrieve my wreckage without paying the $20. The clerk on duty stuck to the "I destroyed my phone" story, although he let slip the far more plausible explanation that the battery glue had pulled up some of the motherboard when the old battery was pried out. PERHAPS I can forgive destroying a phone as the batteries are glued in and - in theory - are not meant to be replaced (although professionals routinely do this including the Apple Store). However - their B.S. explanation pinning the fault on me and trying to charge me a service fee (!!) for this disaster are unforgivable. Several hundred dollars and hours of time later, I now have a cheaper refurbished phone replacement I had to buy elsewhere. Avoid this "repair" shop like the plague. read more

One of my students accidentally knocked my Samsung S4 on out of my hand. Not only did they crack my screen, but I also got the dreaded BSOD (black screen of DEATH). With 1.5 years left on my cell phone contract, paying to fix it was my best option. Long story short: these guys are great, and in my experience they are the most reasonable option in the Baltimore area. I got quotes at two other cell phone repair places -- one wouldn't fix LCD problems, and the other quoted me $130.00 more than US Wireless did. US Wireless gave me a fair (not cheap, but fair) price upfront that matched the research I had already done about the part that needed replacing. They fixed my phone two days earlier than they had initially estimated, and kept in contact over email to let me know when it was ready for pick up. The parts and repair come with a 6 month guarantee. I will edit this review if the parts break down or the phone stops working, but I honestly don't expect that to happen -- my phone looks like it was never broken and is working great. I am thrilled with the repairs. The only downside to US Wireless, and the reason this wasn't a 5-star review: they weren't able to fix my phone same-day, and the more expensive place would have been able to do that. If you need an LCD repair, expect it to take a couple of days, because they'll need to order the parts. However, I would rather have my phone fixed *right* than fixed quickly. Even with the wait time (only 3 business days), I would still use US Wireless Repair in the future, and have already recommended them to my friends and family. read more

I cracked my phone screen over the weekend and gave U.S. Wireless a call the next day. I came in that day after work, and my phone screen was replaced and good as new in 10-15 minutes. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I was quoted one price on the phone, but once they saw it in person, I was charged double the quote because of damage behind the screen. We hired them to install window graphics - these guys have NO IDEA how to install window graphics. They completely destroyed the door graphics we had to order new ones and they didn't put the window graphics up according to the pictures that were given to them. Not only that - they left our windows all streaked and messy!!! We have tried to get them to come back and at least clean our windows but they never show up. We paid them in full for the job (big mistake that was) and they have never come back to correct their terrible work! BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!! They repaired the screen on my galaxy in the past without incident (except for charging me a different price than quoted on the phone). So, when I cracked the screen on my Surface I decided to see if they could repair it. I specifcally asked if the touch screen would function correctly and if there would be a warranty for the work because otherwise I would take it to Geeksquad. They said the screen came with a manufacturers warranty and that they guarantee their work. After having my surface for 4 MONTHS (claimed to be waiting for a part from Microsoft) I get it back and the screen randomly shakes plus the touch screen works on and off. I take it back and when I pick it up over a week later the same thing. They tell me they cant do anything about it because the frame is dinged. They knew the frame was dinged when I gave it to them. They even had me purchase a cover to protect the edges of the new screen they were installing. They also knew the computer wasn't functioning properly when they returned it both times. Instead of being upfront and saying they couldn't repair the problem they gave me the run around. They even sat in the store and played stupid when I turned it on and showed them the problem. Now the screen shakes horribly, the touch screen doesnt work AT ALL, and theres white spots all over the screen. I guess my expectations were too high in thinking that the computer would actually work in addition to the screen being repaired. I should've ate the cost and went to Geeksquad. read more

At first you think you are getting a good service until you go back or take your phone to other places. If you go to this business you better have good knowledge of your problem because this guy will tell you anything to get you to spend money and they over charge for the service. One thing I did not like, they do not listen to you problem, he talks over you and just rushes you off the phone. The warranty is bullshit and the prices are outrageous! This guy told me he was fixing two things on my phone and made it seem like he was giving me a deal, he claimed it was a battery sensor problem and my lcd light was damaged when it wasn't just so he could swap the screen. When i would look for the battery sensor online it was nowhere to be found. I took my phone to another place and they laughed at me when i mentioned a battery sensor and notified me that my phone was missing some pieces, my ear speaker to be exact. He rigged my phone so that it would turn on but told me that I couldn't let the phone die. That sounded wild when he told me so I am thinking once it fully charges back up I would be fine. NOPE! If I take my phone to get fixed and I pay $150 dollars, I expect my phone to be back working properly not just rigged together for $150 dollars. Whatever he did damaged my front camera and he wanted me to pay more money to get that fixed. I call him to ask about the problem and the first thing he says is it was working before you left, that's when I knew my money was wasted! I take the phone back to him to see if he could do what he did last time to get it to come back on and he claimed he was cleaning the sensor over and over it was nothing that he could do, so that was my warranty I guess, him looking at it and telling me he could do something else for more money. Long story short I had to go out and pay some more money to get my phone fixed properly. I thought I found a home for my tech problems but I can not trust this business, I have been lied to and taken advantage of. They will take your money, I suggest you go to another place...he makes you think you are getting a deal but in reality he is taking your money. I take the same phone that he couldn't fix and wanted to keep working on, I take to another place and my problem is fixed, I am pissed about the $150 and he will make sure to let you know he doesn't do refunds. BEWARE!!!! THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! This guy charged me $60 to get a battery replaced in my phone. As soon as I got home the phone stopped working again. I called him to let him know what happened, he said no problem bring it in and I will take a look tit. He looked at it and accused me of breaking the phone myself and said it will cost me an additional $30 to fix the same exact problem. Why would I intentionally break my phone and cause the exact same damage just to have it fixed again. Then accused my children of breaking the phone (because they were in the store with me) and I told him there was no way a 3 year old could of opened the back of my phone pulled the battery out and replaced the back of the phone before I could notice. I was the only one in possession of my phone and I can hardly pull the back of my phone off let alone my 3 yo daughter who is not even the type of child that does things like this. She is well behaved, well managed and does not have the physical strength to open this phone and replace the back correctly.
