I came in for a simple tire patch, and after leaving, I noticed my valve stem was leaking air, something that was perfectly fine before. I immediately called the shop to explain the situation and they told me it was covered under warranty and that I could come back to get it fixed, but when I arrived they completely changed their story, saying the warranty only applied to the patch, not the valve. Even after explaining that I had already called and been told otherwise, the owner argued back and forth with me instead and in the end, I was forced to pay for the service again. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for trustworthy service.

I filed the complaint on June 12, 2026, and followed up repeatedly. An area manager eventually emailed me, and I provided a detailed written timeline explaining what happened, why I had lost confidence in the Galloway Avenue location, and why I was requesting a refund. Since sending that response, I have not received a substantive decision, status update, or further communication addressing my concerns. My primary complaint is now the administrative handling of the matter. Customers should not have to repeatedly pursue a large company for basic communication after reporting a serious service problem. Even when a company disagrees with a refund request, management should acknowledge the documentation, explain its decision, and provide a clear resolution. The continued lack of follow-up gives the impression that Firestone's complaint process is designed to delay rather than resolve legitimate customer concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Galloway location, and I have serious concerns about Firestone's regional management and customer-service accountability.
