I've been taking our vehicles to Firestone on Davis for years. Besides the quality service, the #1 thing I can say about them is, they are HONEST! Bob who is one of the owners has saved me countless dollars by being 100% honest with me! Like most people with newer cars, I'm clueless about a lot of things, but there has been several times a less honest person could have easily taken advantage, not these guys. 1 star I am posting an additional review because Firestone management has still not provided any meaningful follow-up or resolution regarding my formal complaint, Case #2977465. I filed the complaint on June 12, 2026, and followed up repeatedly. An area manager eventually emailed me, and I provided a detailed written timeline explaining what happened, why I had lost confidence in the Galloway Avenue location, and why I was requesting a refund. Since sending that response, I have not received a substantive decision, status update, or further communication addressing my concerns. My primary complaint is now the administrative handling of the matter. Customers should not have to repeatedly pursue a large company for basic communication after reporting a serious service problem. Even when a company disagrees with a refund request, management should acknowledge the documentation, explain its decision, and provide a clear resolution. The continued lack of follow-up gives the impression that Firestone's complaint process is designed to delay rather than resolve legitimate customer concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Galloway location, and I have serious concerns about Firestone's regional management and customer-service accountability. read more

The two owners hold no accountability for there team workmanship spoke with the owners about four times regarding the check engine light on my car that was done by there shop hands that they could not figure out but was willing to tell me it could be anything. The agreement was I told them I was taking the car to the dealership to find out what they did wrong if they were at fault the bill would belong to them to pay. A week later I returned presented findings the dealer stated in writing they did not reconnect the water pump cable line cable and bolt back correctly as well as the bolts in the to the main terminal were to lose that caused the fuse reading ck engine light to come on as well as the a/c stopped running temporarily and Sam was given the dealership paperwork to call for himself never did but they both refuted any wrong doing, neither or men of there words I was told i was trying to get something out of them other than fix my car correctly that i paid $1,000.00 to have fixed it was no problem then. i am taking them to court behind this matter sense taking care of the added cost of $600.00 out of pocket to have someone else fix there simple ass problem secure the bolts back. i also found out this is not a Firestone Dealership franchise it is a mom and pop dealer that sell the brand tires if anyone thought it was Firestone as I did sense there using the log name as such. I will never do business with them again. I had taking several of car to them over the years for small fixes at the end of the day am the dishonorable customer when they have to pay. Beware!!! Can't perform a basic alignment, didn't adjust the camber or reset the steering angle sensor. Now the lane assist keeps steering right thinking the car is not in the center of the lane. When I called the store they told me to call the 888 warranty number as I don't live anywhere close. Seems they didn't pay that bill and their warranty expired Dec. 31st 2023. When I called the owner back he began to lose his temper and scream into the phone until the point I just had to end the call. Not a professional shop. read more

I should have stuck with Take 5 oilchange. This place is ok, service was short and didn't offer much such as top ups and and additional services like vacume, clean windows etc. Not to mentioned the waiting room is hot as hell. I am litterly sweating here. When it comes to hospitality they are very brief and don't conversate much. I give this place a 2, would be 3 if it wasn't so hot. Ok so now I am in my car and there is stains on my seat from the guy that drove my car. Damn this place sucks. And I just found out its a franchise...makes sense on why the service sucks. read more

Came in at 7:34am for an oil change and it's 8:52am now and still waiting on my car was told that it's a special oil filter very expensive so they don't carry them so they had to order one was told that at 8:45am. Won't come here again might as well have gone to Walmart... read more

I've never felt strongly enough about an experience to post a review, until now. I left my car there for a state inspection. When I went to pick it up the same afternoon, it wouldn't start. Completely dead. They jumped it and 'tested' the battery. They said I needed a new battery. Coincidentally, they sell batteries. They could sell me one for $118. I declined and took it to Pep Boys, where I purchased the battery two years earlier. Nothing wrong with the battery. Pep Boys didn't charge me. Starting and driving fine ever since. Don't take your car here. Go to Pep Boys. read more

Today was my first time coming in here. I live so close to this location but always take my car to the Firestone on North Galloway. I got off work early and needed to get my car inspection and oil change so decided to give this location a try since it was close and not as busy as my usual place. I am very happy that I stopped in. I expected a really long wait because that is what I am used to. I walked in and was greeted right away by the owners who are very hands on. I was entered into their system and they took my keys. ONE HOUR later they were done!! I was so thrilled that I starting chatting with the owners a bit. Bob and Sammie are very friendly guys. I have never been this happy and stress free upon leaving a Firestone or any car repair/oil change shop. I was compelled to write this review and thought it a shame to see they weren't even on Yelp yet. I made this account for them and didn't mind putting in the extra time to do so. These people are rude and due a horrible job. I bought tires with road hazard from them last year. I had a nail in my tire and brought it for repair, after driving on the highway my car made a horrible noise and shook. My husband took the tire off and noticed that they failed to balance the tire. When we took the tire back the owner/ manager ( whatever he was) got very defensive and then told us he would not fix the tire. Note that I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and this is how they treat customers. This could have caused serious injury to me and my child. PLEASE DO NOT THIS COMPANY read more

These two guys are the greatest. They are very knowledgeable in auto repair and are very willing to work with customers that are having difficult times in there life. They treat you like family as soon as you walk in and are more concerned about you and your safety than they are about the money. First of all, I have been to this location before, since l live in Mesquite, Texas. I proceeded to return to this location for another oil change at the price of $24.95, which is on the sign hanging outside of the building. I didn't read the document for the services, which is my fault completely. But changing me $4.00 to but in a air filter l purchase and then $7.00 more for labor. The individual Semi, stated it's the computer that does all the figures. Well, like l said, my fault for not looking or reviewing the document, but l will never go back, as some of the reviews stated, it was hot as hell in the waiting room, no water fountain and only had two selections in the soda machine. Please read all the reviews before making a choice to visit this establishment. Again, l will never visit this location again, and will discourage all my friends and people l meet to not visit this establishment.
