I was sent to national sunshine auto parts by the Renée at the service desk of MTS power supply down the street. From the moment I walked into National Sunshine Auto Parts, I was greeted and assisted by multiple guys who are knowledgeable, friendly and truly interested in knowing what I needed. Their prices are competitive and the customer service is excellent so this will be my stop off point for all needs regarding my vehicles, diesel generator and when applicable, items I need for my boat.

I go up to the lady that's at the register and she immediately and rudely says to go to the back of the line. I tell her there is no line. She says to me rudely again, to make the line. I laugh at her and tell her again in Spanish, that there is no line, that I have already asked everyone so I guess that would make me the first one in line. She stares at me and ignored me. So I walk away to another employee and I ask him if he can help me. He ignored me as he slouches on the counter looking through the computer and says absolutely nothing to me. I wait about 15 seconds and out loudly say, this is ridiculous and I start to head out to the exit door. He then starts screaming across the room. "Hey you don't have to leave come back I'll help you!!!" I was furious. I completely ignored them and right before I walked right out, I turned back and said. It's ok if you don't want my money the advanced auto Patty across the street surely will. Good bye and he yelled byeee!! I have never seen such lack of professionalism and it's just incredible that having a competitor across the street they would still treat a customer like that. I went across the street and spent $150 on everything I needed to give my car a tuneup. Money and client list to this particular store. Simply unacceptable. It's actually tucked in along a side street that runs between 7th and 8th. I came here as I needed both a cabin and an engine air filter for my vehicle. I'd been to the dealer earlier that day to get an oil change and service, and they recommended I change both these filters immediately and quoted $80 each to do it. I was able to come here to Advance Auto Parts and get the exact filters I needed, and paid less than $20 for both. I used online ordering where I was offered a code for 20% off since this was my first online order, was given a confirmation number and told it'd be ready for in-store pickup in 30 minutes. I arrived about 40 minutes later and my order wasn't actually bagged and ready for me, but the guy behind the counter jotted down the part numbers of the items I'd ordered and quickly gathered them while I waited. Since I'd already paid at the time of order, he printed out a receipt for me to sign, bagged my items and gave me a receipt to take, and I was on my way. I went to the AutoZone over on 27th Avenue near 8th Street, but it was an absolute zoo. No one seemed able to help, and it felt like they could not have cared less. After 15 minutes of trying to get some assistance, I just got frustrated and left. I sat back in my car, with my dashboard lighting up like a Christmas tree, and remembered there was an Advance Auto Parts on Coral Way and 27th, so I drove over there. I walked in expecting the same experience I just had at AutoZone, but boy, was I wrong. The first thing that happened was a warm welcome from a guy named Michael. Before I even reached the register, he called out with an authentic smile, 'Welcome to Advance Auto Parts, how may I help you?' It immediately put a smile on my face. After I vented to him for about 10 minutes about my car troubles and my experience at the other store, he said, 'You know what? Let me finish with this customer, and I am going to personally help you.' He hooked my car up to his personal, high quality scanning device. It showed no error codes, but he spotted a burnt out fuse and explained that my battery needed replacing. He mentioned that German cars rely heavily on battery power for their high end functions; when the battery begins to fail, those functions start shutting down and causing false readings on the dash. He gave me an amazing price on a new battery and even installed it for me right there. I was so happy; the shaking stopped, and all the warning lights on my dash disappeared. I told Michael, 'You are amazing and great at your job--what is your long term goal?' Michael said, 'Well, I love helping people. In the grand scheme of things, I want to become a manager of my own store, and who knows, maybe even own my own store someday.' What a cool dude, he deserves a manager spot immediately! I had the misfortune of purchasing an expensive part, found it did not fit my car, went through the process of contacting them, shipping the item, getting a verification letter from my postal office stating that after an investigation, it was found that the item was DELIVERED AND RECIEVED by QE. They still refuse to refund. I would not do any type of business with this company. They are dishonest in the manner of which they serve their customer who they know have little recourse. Their rating is dubious at best if they handle their customers like they did me. I have six months of emails from them that are 80% horsepoop and 20% lies. Ebay is helping this company by providing them with a platform. I will devote my energy to placing this feedback on every forum I can find for the next 12 months. If I can help a few others use better companies, it would be worth it.
