It's actually tucked in along a side street that runs between 7th and 8th. I came here as I needed both a cabin and an engine air filter for my vehicle. I'd been to the dealer earlier that day to get an oil change and service, and they recommended I change both these filters immediately and quoted $80 each to do it. I was able to come here to Advance Auto Parts and get the exact filters I needed, and paid less than $20 for both. I used online ordering where I was offered a code for 20% off since this was my first online order, was given a confirmation number and told it'd be ready for in-store pickup in 30 minutes. I arrived about 40 minutes later and my order wasn't actually bagged and ready for me, but the guy behind the counter jotted down the part numbers of the items I'd ordered and quickly gathered them while I waited. Since I'd already paid at the time of order, he printed out a receipt for me to sign, bagged my items and gave me a receipt to take, and I was on my way. In less than 10 minutes, both filters were replaced.

I went to the AutoZone over on 27th Avenue near 8th Street, but it was an absolute zoo. No one seemed able to help, and it felt like they could not have cared less. After 15 minutes of trying to get some assistance, I just got frustrated and left. I sat back in my car, with my dashboard lighting up like a Christmas tree, and remembered there was an Advance Auto Parts on Coral Way and 27th, so I drove over there. I walked in expecting the same experience I just had at AutoZone, but boy, was I wrong. The first thing that happened was a warm welcome from a guy named Michael. Before I even reached the register, he called out with an authentic smile, 'Welcome to Advance Auto Parts, how may I help you?' It immediately put a smile on my face. After I vented to him for about 10 minutes about my car troubles and my experience at the other store, he said, 'You know what? Let me finish with this customer, and I am going to personally help you.' He hooked my car up to his personal, high quality scanning device. It showed no error codes, but he spotted a burnt out fuse and explained that my battery needed replacing. He mentioned that German cars rely heavily on battery power for their high end functions; when the battery begins to fail, those functions start shutting down and causing false readings on the dash. He gave me an amazing price on a new battery and even installed it for me right there. I was so happy; the shaking stopped, and all the warning lights on my dash disappeared. I told Michael, 'You are amazing and great at your job--what is your long term goal?' Michael said, 'Well, I love helping people. In the grand scheme of things, I want to become a manager of my own store, and who knows, maybe even own my own store someday.' What a cool dude, he deserves a manager spot immediately! The whole staff there is awesome; they all deserve a raise.

As someone who previously worked in hospitality, I recognize exceptional customer service when I see it. Christopher and Francisco truly exemplified it. They were both incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to assist me every step of the way. They clearly explained what was going on with my car, walked me through my options, and recommended the best course of action without making me feel rushed or pressured. Their patience, expertise, and genuine willingness to help made what could have been a stressful situation a very positive experience. Christopher and Francisco deserve to be recognized for their outstanding customer service and professionalism. Advance Auto Parts is fortunate to have employees like them!

    Skip this place. They bought an item on Amazon and had it sent to me to fulfill my order. The…read moreitem I got was not what I ordered. The item I order cost 170 dollars. The item I got cost 62 dollars. I have no use for the item they decided to send me. I have no confidence I would get my money back so I will have to take a big loss on this order. This is the first and last time I will do business with them. I specifically wanted to stay away from Amazon to purchase my item. I NORMALLY DON'T DO REVIEWS BUT IN THIS CASE I THINK IT IS THE BEST THING I CAN DO. I also got an email that said: "The status of your order #XXXX has changed to Manual Verification Required." Which I did not understand the meaning of. I emailed USA Tools on Nov 16th asking about the status of the order. Since I had not received any shipping information. I got no reply. I called them on the phone on Nov 24th, and they conformed that my order existed, but did not give me any information, he sort of hemmed and hawed, but non real information, I feel he knew what was up, but did not want to tell me. . He knew my name from the order, he then asked my phone number, and told me he would call me back. I sent another email on Nov 25th, no reply. I also called them on Nov 25th, and they acknowledged my order, said he would check on it, and put me on hold. Finally, he came back on the line, and said the product had been discontinued. The guy was polite on the phone, but I had to request the refund. If the product was discontinued, why did they sell it to me, and why did they leave the order outstanding? The place looks good, but in my opinion, it is not, save a headache.
