Hello everyone I would like to recommend USA Towing if you are ever in a car situation on the local roads or highway. My car was stuck on flint hill rd in sc. It was pretty serious as it seems my car I bought a month and half ago has a axel issue. USA Towing was very quick to respond to our needs we waited for a hour and 20 minutes not bad if you ask me. Chris was our tow truck driver he was professional and kind and asked if my wife and I were ok. Time was wildly off. Did not update me and was rude when I talked to them. told me two more hours after I'd been waiting for 1.5 hrs

Over the course of two days beginning Feb 14, I waited a total of 16 hours for a tow. When my insurance finally double dispatched another tow company on Feb 15, the original "liberty towing" which is listed as USA towing with a completley different phone number than what they had given my insurance... finally showed up at 6pm 10 minutes after the secondary tow company had called to let me know they would have someone headed my way. The guy who arrived was extremely rude and mean. Side note: on Monday Feb 14 when I tried to reach liberty towing, the number this company had provided my insurance company, I reached a company that is 4 hours outside of Charlotte who informed me that this is about the 10th time this has happened and the ACTUAL company I needed to be calling was USA towing of Fort Mill. I was informed the reason they did this was to avoid any and all bad reviews etc. Thankfully I was assured by the escalations department for Progressive this HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL company, who has no regard for safety, would be removed from the contract list. I submitted a tow for my suv @ 7:45am Monday morning. A driver came out @ 11:21am. He did not even try to tow the suv he said I would need a dolly tow truck. I told the driver how he would have to get my truck in Neutral basically he ignored me. He made his phone call back to the office & asked where was Big Boy @. & that Big Boi will come & get my truck. He has 2 cars In front of you. Several hours later, no Big Boi, No tow truck. Called several times. No one answered except to place you on hold for a very extended time to listen to elevator music. Literally the worst service I've ever had from a tow truck company. They caused me to miss a whole day of work. I scheduled having my car towed yesterday at 11:15AM. They had an ETA of 90 minutes. I received a call at 1:00PM saying they would arrive by 2:30. No one showed up and I was stranded. I called them back at 3:15 to see where the driver was. I was told he was only 15 min away. I called them back at 4:00, 30 min after he was supposed to already be there. I was told he would be there before 6. My main problem was not that they were no able to pick me up right away. It was that they did not communicate that I would be waiting for a very long time. I could have called another company, but US Towing just kept pushing my pickup back further and further. Also, I had to call them to stay on top of it, instead of them calling me for updates. I SPENT 7 HOURS WAITING FOR A TOW. I finally gave up and called an Uber. I'm fortunate that a WAY better dependable company is towing my car today. read more

Do not ever use them. The driver was extremely rude and very impatient, and pretty scary. They were blocking an entrance to our neighborhood and would not let us drive around... even though there was space. He very rudely slammed a cone down and said, "I need work space!!". I would have happily waited, but once he started talking rudely and throwing cones down and giving me threatening looks, it made me both scared & mad! You can't just block someone's entryway (even though there is room to drive around) and then not even ask them politely to wait, or kindly explain what's going on. I would never, ever, ever hire these people. If you can't be kind to people, what kind of customer service are you going to get? I'm sure there are 1 million other towing places to use... We had a car accident and All-State provided rhe link to track this company's arrival to tow our car. We waited the 2 hours and kept track on the app. At 12:30 am it said that the arrival was 1 minute. It stayed that way for 15 minutes so I called them at 8035481300. The person that answered was not in SC so he provided the number for the local driver. When the driver answered I asked how much longer and began explaining that I had been tracking the app but it had never updated... he cut me off and began cussing. He said it was raining and plenty of people waiting not just me and just for that he was canceling the call. So on top of an accident, I had to experience this poor customer service at almost 1 am. I was trying to use roadside assistance from my insurance for the second time in the last year and they never ever come, it's terrible.. I am a driver and I was stuck with a flat in a unfamiliar area at night waiting hours for nothing, so I decided to reach out to a tow company off of maps and surprisingly they happened to be right behind where I was. They came promptly and couldn't believe I had to wait that long.. you would think insurance company would of connected to them but didn't.. Also, the guy showed me how to change a tire. I went through my insurance company and it has been terrible. Driver was rude because I called twice in over a 4 hour time span. Got upset and dropped the request because of his "workload" even though my request was put in hours before I ever spoke to the driver. Was given the wrong number at one point. I am now having to wait for my car to get towed at midnight after 5+ hours of waiting. Was told I could put my keys in the car and get picked up but then when speaking to the driver he was unaware that I was not with the vehicle and my keys were placed in an area I told an employee of the towing company about. Overall bad experience. Please ask your insurance company to not use this company. read more

Looking at the reviews it seems everyone has the same issue. Was assigned this joke of a company for a tow. Waited two hours later and they informed me that the insurance company removed the assignment. I contacted the insurance company and they said the driver stated unable to tow. This company was automatically referred to me through my insurance company when my car broke down. I waited for over an hour to hear from the tow company what their ETA would be but they never notified me. I tried calling them twice and I was immediately put on hold and eventually sent to voicemail. I called my insurance company back and had them cancel the tow. I give this company a 0 star rating. My insurance company sent them to tow my husband's car 6 days ago. Took them 6 hours to get to the car. My car broke down today and my insurance company used them again. After waiting 5 hours I called to check on the service and they tell me it will be about an hour and a half. But after another 4 hours of waiting and no tow, I called and they informed me they can not assist me and I should contact my insurance to have them contact another tow company. This company was assigned my tow at 1145pm with a 90 min estimate. I called at 130pm to get an update. The lady who assigned my call was a complete b$&@? It must suck to have a job you hate so much. She also advised my estimate was 90-100 minutes more and all she could tell me the driver was assigned and she couldn't speak on it other than the driver will call when he is on the way. This is truly a crappy company who doesn't care about customers. They live off the contracts from fleet maintenance and USAA. They out the contracted tows at the end of the line. Will have you waiting hours then tell you that the insurance company canceled them but the insurance company DID NOT. They literally lied and had us waiting hours for a tow that would've taken less than 10 minutes! I was stuck with a flat tire in the parking lot at Carowinds. The young lady who took my call was very helpful. She first told me to call my insurance company, as she was trying to help me save some money if I had roadside assistance. I called her back after I spoke to my agent, and she got a guy named Jacob assigned to my repair. She said he would be there in one hour after the two stops before me. Jacob was actually a few minutes earlier than that. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He was able to get me back on the road pretty quickly. I'm thankful I had their assistance in this situation. I'm glad I wasn't stranded on the side of the road because these people would have left me to die! My truck was supposed to be picked up on friday morning. They didn't get it untl friday at 5:00. They didn't make it to the dealership (that is 10 miles away) until after they closed at 7:00. They called to explain and told me that it would be there first thing on saturday morning. The dealership called me on Monday morning asking where my truck was! I had to call these people and raise hell and finally, it was delivered to the dealership around 10:00 am on Monday. Now I will say that the driver and the woman who answered the phone were both very nice, but come on, I missed out on 3 days that my truck could have been worked on.... Got a flat tire and Geico dispatched them out. They accepted the tow with the understanding that I would need a ride. They waited two hours to call and say that they can tow my car but I wouldn't be able to get a ride even with masks. They were really going to leave me on the side of the road 25 miles from home. They could have at least gave that information when they accepted the tow. After getting their call I then looked up their reviews and saw that they were horrible to everyone. So I got stuck with no battery and I do uber they wanted to charge me $285 and that was just a ball park it could be more. I was recommended to another garage from a friend who didn't do it anymore but suggested 2 places one being this company. I've been waiting on them since 11:00 am this morning and it's now 7:20 and they have towed my car to their impound lot for no reason. I now can't get my car and have to wait til over the weekend. AWFUL!!!!! DO NOT LET ANY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE SERVICE DISPATCH THEM TO YOU!!!! USAA SENT THEM TO ME a year ago. After waiting for 3 hours they told me they could not come. Today my wife's car dies, and I call Toyota Roadside Assistance. Aftet waiting an hour and recieving no communication from them, I called to ask for an ETA. The woman on the phone spoke to me in a very condescending tone anf told me that I had a 90 minute ETA and that I would have to wait another 34 minutes. She "Just brcause we tell you 90 minutes, does not mean they will be there in 90 minutes. The driver will call you when he is enroute.". I waited another half-hour and was feeling somewhat unsatisfied. I called Toyota and after spending 10 minutes on hold, asked them to contact the tow company. They called US towiing and said it would be yet ANOTHER HOUR!! At this point I cancelled and called my insurance company- USAA. USAA sent out... drum-roll please!!!! US TOWING... My car broke down at a petsmart, this is the towing company my insurance sent, said that I had canceled my towing by not being present at my car. Which I would understand if they had called me at the correct number which they have so that was their mistake, and the person I spoke to seemed to talk down to be and make it seem like my fault they didn't call my correct number. She recited it back to be and had half the numbers wrong, and it seemed like she was insinuating that it was the reason this mistake was made. If this wasn't the towing company my insurance had I would ABSOLUTELY not use them. Thank you for letting me sit here for 4 hours without any heads up that it had gotten canceled. My insurance company contacted this company for a town at 9:30pm, my car cut off and I was stuck on the side of the road. I got a text saying it would be 90 mins, after I waited the 90 mins I got another text saying it would be 106 more mins. I waiting until 1am when I called to confirm a driver was in the way as my app said my driver was 9 mins out for over 30 mins. The dispatcher informed me the driver couldn't find the keys so the tow request was canceled, however I was sitting in my freezing car for 4 hours! They were over two hours late before they called and claimed they would not be showing up because they lied and said my car dealership was closed when it absolutely wasn't. My vehicle broke down and left me stranded on the interstate. I was told they would be there in less than 2 hours and to wait with my vehicle. After at least three phone calls to the driver and company, I was told to leave my keys inside and be picked up. After doing so and checking periodically, my vehicle was left on the side of the interstate for over SIX HOURS with the keys it it. (Keep in mind it is black and the middle of the night). The driver then claimed to be too upset with his workload and refused to complete the service 6 hours after it was promise. What a ridiculous sham of a company. My car was broken down in the middle of traffic on S. Tryon at 11 am. This company was assigned through my insurance. They told me 90 minutes. No show after 90 minutes, I called to get the ETA, they tell me it's another 90 minutes but they did now show up after that. I called the guy said it's now just 20 minutes but an hour later I'm still stranded. The guy had the audacity to say that it will be another 90 minutes. I called the insurance to complain. Not good and not honest. Porsche Roadside Assistance selected them after a flat traveling on 77 on a Sunday evening. Claimed they were Hendrick Porsche's preferred flatbed. (A lie I later found). Was supposed to be there in 30-45 minutes, another lie as it was about 2 hours. Driver was nice, said as dealer closed, car would be taken to Hendrick Porsche at 7:30 am when they opened on Monday am (big lie). I called several times and dispatcher gave various stories, needed a new voucher from Porsche, they were busy, they never due deliveries until after 10 am, etc. Was closer to after 11 am when it arrived. My family and I needed a tow and call these people. They charged 250 dollars for a tow that normally only cost 75 dollars. I called them back less than 5 minutes later to cancel and they still charged me 125 dollars. I will tell anybody that just because you are desperate to get off the road do not use these people. Read the review, it can save you time and mone. They are a total rip off and should not be allowed to be in business because they are just taking people money without any services rendered. read more

We called my insurance roadside at 3:30pm and got an ETA for 5:07. At 6:45 pm still waiting for a tow. I had to call them several times to find out what was going on. They kept saying 20min, 30min, 20min...The customer service was terrible. So bad that even the rep at the insurance company was shocked! My ins. company called another company(A1-Discount) for us that arrived in less than 30 minutes. If USA company had arrived on time we would have made it to our mechanic to have our problem resolved, (battery)saving us an extra trip the next day. To start, i put in a roadside assistance ticket through USAA to be towed 3.7 miles to a tire shop because a pothole cracked my rim and my spare is flat. At 2:32, USA Towing sent me an ETA of 90 minutes, which was already offputting, but oh well. At 88 minutes, they called me and said it would be an additional 60 minutes. Now, getting to the tire shop before they close won't happen AND i need my truck for work tomorrow. Now I have to schedule a new tow because I refuse to allow such an incompetent company touch my truck. By the way, the new tow company just sent an ETA of 10 minutes. THAT is customer service. The tech Will was great. ETA had him showing up in an hour but he was there in 20 min. Was polite, courteous and personable. Absolutely the worse towing experience ever!!!!! Was lied to about eta. Was even told he's 2 minutes away. Then was told he had to go to an emergency call and would be coming 25 minutes later. I contacted USAA for a tow and they assigned this company at 630 pm. I waited at 8p a gentleman called and said he was 5 mins away. 30 mins later I call USAA and asked why they were not here yet 2 hours later. 2 hrs 15 mins later someone named Dante calls me to offer an apology. Please keep in mind its raining, 39 degrees andI waited for 2 hours already. I dont want to hear excuses. They lack integrity and have very poor customer service. I guess that explains a 1.3 rating on a scale of 5 today 12/22/2019. Please do better. There is money to be made out here and people that want to work.
