Tow truck was supposed to arrive at 10:50.. it's 11:20. I had called support and they said it will be another 30 minute wait.

The tow for my car from USA towing arrived 5.5 hours after scheduled and are now at 8pm telling me that the gate is up and they can't get in to the service center. This has been a horrible experience that I am paying for through my service agreement with Hendricks. I have been told it was being taken back to where they picked it up, I have been told it they are dropping it outside the gate, I have been told I will need to figure out with my insurance company how to handle the expense of two tows, and just now they have said they talked to someone and got it inside the gate. Though I have no confidence that happened. I have been dealt with in an unbelievably rude way and have had to talk with at least 5 different people with 5 different stories each time. read more

If you have a choice in towing companies DO NOT use this company. Tow driver was extremely rude at the scene of my accident. And then they held my car for over a week claiming "we need a release" despite the fact that I gave a release within hours of the car being towed. I go to tow yard a few days later to retrieve items I missed and was told I can't get into my own car. Obviously at the time of an accident one is upset and would appreciate some kindness instead of being talked condescendingly to. read more

This company was used by our insurance company. After 3 1/2 hours they still had not shown up. We had to cancel. We will never us USA Towing for again and will make sure that no one we know will use them either. If your insurance company uses them, call someone else. read more

IF I could give USA Towing negative stars I would. They came to me via ins. company's Roadside Assistance Program. ETA 2 hrs after initial call, only to be pushed back again...called them to ask why & after lame excuse told USA Towing they should OPT out of the Roadside programs IF they didn't have the driver's to deliver timely service. Driver finally came 3 1/2 hrs later. He was rude, short fused & the MOST unprofessional driver I've met in 40 yrs of driving. Asked him to take my car to a shop near my home & he got angry. I asked why he was 2 hrs late & he THREW MY CAR KEYS AT ME...then he stomped off like a child, got in his tow truck & left my car on the side of the road. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I've asked my insurance company to REMOVE USA Towing FROM THEIR Roadside Assistance Program...they are HORRIBLE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!! read more

We pre paid, quoted 90 minutes took over 3.5 hours to show up after multiple lies on the phone saying only 5 minutes away, fleet manager is coming etc. We were told that an owner would call us Monday morning and it never happened. After calling back again no owner or manager followed up. Poor business and management! read more

My insurance scheduled a tow pickup thru this company. Had an ETA of hour and half to be there by 9:30 pm, called at 10:42pm they said they were running behind. Two hours later, called them again and they said they were running behind due to accidents and they will definitely get to us. Waited two more hours and called again, still running behind. Called two more hours later and no answer. Literally the worst tow service I have ever had. Insurance company ended up scheduling another tow service Davenport, to come out to tow our car, which took less than 30 mins. I would not recommend this company even if it was free! read more

My car broke down. I called State Farm roadside assistance and they contacted USA Towing. I received a text that they would arrive within 90 minutes. I called the tow service 95 minutes later and they said it would be at least another 45 minutes. They never felt the need to contact me-- I had to contact them. I called the State Farm roadside assistance and they found another towing service. two hours into this my cell phone died and I walked home. Left the car unattended. Right now the car still has not been picked up and it has been ~4 hours. This is taking the entire day. I am wondering if the car will get to the shop before closing time. Not sure I needed this much angst over what should have been a straight forward process. read more

If I could rate lower I would. I'm 3 hours and got and estimated one more hour delay. I called and the lady was very unethical and unsympathetic towards a customer being stuck waiting on a tow. Her excuse was they had more calls that came in. Wait a minute, wasn't I already in rotation to be towed? Is what I asked. So far I'm looking at 4 hours when initially I was quoted 83 minutes. If you have an emergency don't call this place. Maybe if you need service the next day you should call a day ahead and they might reach you. Never again read more

First thing I want to say is that getting a tow with this company through roadside assistance is crap. Claim was placed at 2pm and didn't get the vehicle to drop location until 7pm. However the driver will was great. The only way I would use this company again is if I was certain Will was the driver. His professionalism was unmatched. I'm only giving high rating because of the driver Will. In fact if I was in that field of work I would financially back him with his own company. read more

My car had 2 lights come Saturday night while I was on my way home from work and was making strange noises. Tried to crank her Sunday and there was no clicking, no lights came on, nothing. We called them out to the house to pick up my car and they showed up about an hour later. The man (not sure of his name), had jumped her off and helped diagnose one of the issues with her before we even sent her to the garage, and got her loaded up on the truck and gone within less than 15 minutes of showing up. I'm a 19 year old girl, so it's common for people to think I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to cars. He took me very seriously when I explained the issues and never once spoke condescendingly to me which means more than he may've known. Highly recommend USA if you ever need someone. read more

They had a guy come out on april 3, 2018. he damaged my car and i called them to see what they will do about it and they said nothing just excuses and got real rude with me and didn't care . the tow truck driver lost the piece to my door handle where he popped it off. and got grease on the material part of my arm rest on my driver side and then backed out and hit my mailbox . i would not recommend this towing service to anyone . they rude, don't care, and they destroy vehicles read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR NOTHING!!!! On 3/4/19 I was alerted that my car had a flat tire. I couldn't find the tire key to unlock the anti-theft lock, so I needed to have the car towed to the dealership. In distress, I called my insurance company and I went through a third party company and was referred to USA Towing. I was told it would be about an hour and a 1/2 before the tow would arrive and this was about 3-ish in the afternoon when I called for help. After an hour and a half, I called the company and was told he was on the way (this was said several times when I called several more times, pure lies). By 5pm it was too late to have the car towed to the dealership. Finally, at almost 7 pm I get a call from the tow driver :-(. Upon speaking with him I asked if he could just tow me home because the dealership was now closed and he point blank said, NO. He informed me his order was to take me to the dealership. I informed him yes, it was previously when I called but now they are closed and I can't get anything done. So, if you take me there, what can I do there, he told me, NOT MY PROBLEM! ( I was hella pissed). He told me I could call my insurance company, go through the third party company, have them contact their company and re-assign me to my home. I cancelled the request for the tow, because I was already upset and being with this person would only make an already stressful night even more stressful. I had to go on Youtube to find a way to take off the lugnut and use a company car to go to the auto store to purchase materials. By the time I was able to resolve this issue it was after 10pm at night. Because of their inadequate professionalism and constantly lying I couldn't go to my second job. So, I lost money because of these people. If your insurance company recommends them ask for another company. read more

My daughter's car broke down on the way to work. Stranded by the highway. Called her insurance co. for roadside assistance and was given number for USA Towing. First call at 7:50, follow up at 8:48. It is now 12:15 and police have been onsite for over one hour. Still no tow truck. No sense of urgency. Driver called to say, after all the hours, that he had just gotten the call to go get her and that he was on the way. This after 2 "we will be there in 20 minutes" promises she received over the last 2 hours. Is there a way to give -0- stars. DO NOT USE this company if you have another choice. read more

I wouldn't use this company only used because my auto service use them . They lie about eta times I had an era from 8:30pm that they would arrive at 10:09pm later called the auto service they said that USA towing called all of their customers that they were running behind but they dis not call . Probably have some lazy slob sitting at the Waffle House sitting around pulling there underwear out of their a** instead of coming and doing their job ! If you call emergency road side assistance who wants to sit around for 3,4 5 hours later waiting. I do not recommend this company we had to find another company to tow because they keep couldn't get it together . After all this, I find my keys locked inside the vehicle! I wish all these other reviews I'm seeing from people who's insurance company used them were wrong, but after my experience, I had to know what the problem was, so I called them. I spoke with the owner and she seemed very concerned. She didn't buy much into the reviews, though I know of some businesses that will write a response to every single one, good or bad, which I believe is valuable to their reputation. I was able to have them check, and they found not one note ever saying where to park it! Also, with all the contacts I made to this other company Agero, my insurance uses for these types of dispatches, messages did not get passed along to USA from Friday to Sunday, so they supposedly knew nothing about it. Their refusal was that they had to have a PO# for proper procedures including liability, not necessarily for billing, which Agero refused (just as much) to give them before, though they eventually must have. So why didn't the messages get through? I still don't know. The only thing I can be sure of is the driver left it in the worst spot they could have, and then locked the keys in, which I do not feel was accidental. That is one driver I believe facts show to be a blatant problem. The rest may have more to it, like playing telephone. Something has been going very wrong for some time, because all the many bad reviews cannot all be flukes. For the sake of their reputation, I hope that they can get to the bottom of this if they really are being blamed completely for not doing their job because messages are not being relayed to them. Meanwhile, people post and read bashing reviews as fact, while the owner stays in the dark about all of it. I had a flat tire on side of the road and USA Towing was dispatched to come out and change my tire. I called in at 2:00 PM they stated they would be there by 3:50 PM. Once 4:00 arrived I had not seen nor heard from anyone so I called them and the dispatcher in the office said that they were close by and they were on the way to me. 45 more minutes went by I called back and told them no one still hasn't arrived. The dispatcher then tells me that he is on the way that he was coming from another city. I said to her, " when I just called you told me that he was almost here and that he was in route to me. She than stated, "oh he had an emergency and had to go somewhere else but he will be there in 15 minutes." They could have easily called me and communicated that with me but they did not. By this time it was 6:00PM and no one still had not arrived. I called back and she stated that he is 10 minutes away. After waiting another 15 Minutes no one still had not arrived. By this time I figured they were lying the whole time and never planned to come. I ended up calling Davenport Wrecker Service and she told me that someone would be out to me in 30-45 Minutes. I explained to her how Horrible USA towing did me and she then arranged for one of her drivers to come to me asap. Although she told me it would be a 30 minute ETA her driver arrived in less than 10 minutes and changed my tire and I was back on the Road. So if your'e in need of a tow in the Rock Hill/ Fort Mill area Please call Davenport Wrecker because USA is horrible and need to be shut down. Ill be sure to contact the BBB about them. read more

Do not use this company for towing, they are the worse. No communication on what is going on. I was scheduled to have my car picked up by 640 and they didn't get it until 9pm. Then the drop off location was closed so they took my car back to the tow shop and was supposed to drop it off first thing this morning but the driver took my keys home with him last night. So we had to wait for him to bring the keys back so that my car could be dropped off. Needless to say my car made it to the dealership at about 150pm today, which is 19 hours after it was scheduled for pick up. Now my car may not be fixed until Tuesday due to their mess up. I called to explain the situation and asked about beimh compensated for a rental car since i now may be out of a car until Tuesday. The co-owner Tammy has been caught up in a lie saying she contacted the dealership and they said they wouldn't be able to order the part until Tuesday regardless but the dealer hasn't even looked at my car because it is in the same spot that their driver dropped it off at 150pm . They are liars and I wouldn't ever recommend them to anybody. read more

Never use these guys, giving them 1 star sickens me, I wish I could give them 0! I called at 9 am to make an appointment at 11:30 am for a pickup in Fort Mill SC. Which is where they are based. Nobody calls, it's 11:36 am and nobody is here so I call and they say sorry someone will be there in 30 minutes. It's 12:32 pm. nobody shows so I call back. They say someone will be there in 30 minutes, Someone arrives at 1:35 pm and says they can't tow my car because the tire is flat and too low (which means he is lazy, we all know what wonders a 2x4 can do). He says a flat bed is 30 minutes away, but I've heard this before so I call the dispatcher and only agree to accept their services at a reduced price. She said the owner already gave me a reduced price of $93, Which is the original price they gave me. Does $93 dollars for a coupe sound like a discount? No. I asked to speak to the owner and the dispatcher put me on hold, 5 minutes later the dispatcher said the owner wasn't going to reduce the price, but he would call me back. He never did. dont ever use USA Towing from Fort Mill SC. Save yourself a headache and hours of your time. read more
