They were very easy to find at Cancun airport, despite the hubbub of people outside the airport, and they were 20 minutes early to pick us up yesterday at our hotel, Sandos Playacar (Playa del Carmen area, about a 45-min. drive from the Cancun airport). Our driver yesterday was Luis and he was very personable - he chatted with us a bit (and did speak English) when we started the drive yesterday, and helped us with our bags too. I would use USA Transfers again and again. Drivers were wonderful and on time for pick up. This has nothing to do with the company but a good thing to know. When you book your flight that there can be rush hour traffic in the hotel zone. The bridge opening could help with the traffic. The AC was running and was great to have on full blast from the heat. They even sent a VIP van to our hotel because they said they were in the area so not garuntee for that type of car but was a great surprise. For pick up at the airport they were a little hidden and at the back of all the pick up transfers so had to do a little bit of looking. I have used USA transfers several times and have always been satisfied. They meet you right outside the airport (you have to look for them holding the company sign) and once you find them (it's super crowded so it may take a few mins) it usually takes about 20 minutes for a driver to be there to pick you up, we get transportation to and from the airport and they are very timely when picking you up for your return flight. One year my flight was late and it was easy to get in touch with them and let them know so there were no issues. The drivers are friendly and drive safely, the vans are clean, and it's a private van. Thank you to USA Transfers for a clean, comfortable, and fun ride! Booking was quick and easy with when we arrived we were able to find our van quickly due to the very straightforward and detailed directions that they sent over earlier. We got lucky and were placed in a Mexican fiesta decorated van (usually an upcharge). It was nothing too fancy but the little pinata, party hats, and balloons delighted the children in our group. We did pay for a cooler of beer and juice and I am so glad we did because it was HOT out at the airport. The extra cooler of drinks really made our ride more pleasant. The total round trip cost of our trip was very reasonable and I felt like we got great value for the service we received. Things to note: - Vans are not super luxurious, but it had working seat belts, an AC, courteous drivers, and honestly everything we could possibly need. Kind of like getting a ride from a trusted uncle :) - We requested a car seat for our van but I would suggest bringing your own as the car seat provided does not have the same safety functions as our personal carseat. - Boosters are not provided so bring those as well - Bring cash to tip! We had a great experience with USA Transfers! We booked 4 separate trips with them and all 4 trips they were on time and got us to our destination promptly. We have used several of the big transportation companies in Cancun and have found that USA transfers is slightly more affordable (cheaper by $5-$10 than the other reputable companies). But I did notice that their vans are slightly older than the vehicles of some of the other companies that we have traveled with in the past. Also, make sure that you book online with the correct website, the official USA Transfers website! There is a company/website using almost the exact same name that comes up as the first option on Google search. All in all, I would definitely book with this company again, and highly recommend it! We received a detailed email on how to locate them after grabbing our bags from baggage claim. Once we got thru all the chaos of people trying to sell cabs there was easily identifying men with USA Transfers uniforms waiting. They alerted the driver and escorted us to the SUV. I used this transfer company earlier this year during my visit to Cancun. They were exceptionally reliable and had excellent communication.

RT transfer from CUN to riviera maya was looming over my head because it was 2 days before our trip and i still haven't booked our roundtrip transfer... oy vey. thanks to reddit i found usa transfers and they offered very competitive rate compared to other companies. pick-up: after baggage claim go outside of the airport and look for usa transfers employees. we did have to wait some time (~15min) before our shuttle showed up, no biggie. we were greeted by a friendly driver and was even offered to stop by convenience stores along the way if needed. return: our driver was very prompt to pick us up from our resort and we made it to the airport well before our departure time. the pick-up time is already automatically calculated based on your reported departure time, so make sure you enter all your flight information correctly. both drivers were extremely good/safe and professional. the booking site is by far the easiest to use from all the competitor sites i've tried. i love that you can also put different drop-off / pick-up hotel locations since we had moved to a different resort in the middle of our trip. highly recommend and would definitely use USA transfers again. read more

I've used them 2x now, both times from Cancun airport to Playa Mujeres area. They are exactly or maybe a minute or two early or late all the time, which is pretty accurate. They are reliable and safe. Their shuttles are not shared and you have it all to yourself. The drivers are also very nice, speaks English well and we had a funny driver on the way back. This was by far the easiest booking experience as you can input point an and b addresses etc making it a breeze to book 4 different legs of transports. We booked roundtrip transportation from the airport to secrets resort costa mujeres. We generally had good experience the van was clean and fairly comfortable and the stuff were super friendly. The only reason for the 4 star is that they recommend use their app to check the driver location and it wasn't available and i counted on that when i landed because it was my first time in this airport. It took me 30-40 minutes to meet the driver what was frustrating at the moment. With that being said they were available on the phone the whole time were very friendly and professional. I I unfortunately had the opposite experience compared to other reviews here. When my group arrived, there were no USA Transfers greeters/reps in the area. Canada Transfers - easy to spot a half dozen of them. USA Transfer - not a single person. After calling, I was told it must be my problem because they have "a lot of guys there". I was told these "guys" would come to me, but they didn't. Another ten minutes, I call and get the same response. I'm found about thirty minutes after my first call to them and then wait another 30 minutes to be brought to our vehicle. Why? They didn't have "guys" at the airport. They had ONE SINGLE GREETER! When he did find us, he told me they had 600 bookings for the day but he was the only person at arrivals. Our driver similarly said the company is not properly staffing arrivals. The greeter was not only greeting anyone who could find him, but would then disappear for ten minutes because he was also responsible for bringing every guest to their vehicle a bit of a distance away, along with luggage. When we found him, there were a dozen other groups waiting for him to get them and their luggage to their cars. It took everyone about an hour. If a company is going to accept 600 bookings, they may want to have more than one rep at the airport. The other companies all did it without issue. Sadly USA Transfers is incapable of having staff on site and seem to care less when you call (or are just out of touch with reality). I also sent a pair of emails to them to get an explanation of what happened. Not surprisingly, I did not get even the courtesy of a response. If you want to pay $125 to book a VIP transfer, only to be insulted, these are your guys (actually, your "guy" - no plural - is more accurate) read more

We arrived in Cancun airport to a very long line going through customs and declarations. USA Transfers was really helpful letting us know ahead of time that we may be delayed in our pick up. Where to start. Last Sunday 2/18/24, we arrived 40 minutes early into Cancun. Made it to our USA transfers shuttle pick up spot with minutes to spare, only to be told there weren't enough people to fill the van. After an hour still NO VAN, after 1 hour 30 minutes still NO VAN. The girl finally agreed to get the van after our 7th coworker showed up. Waited another 1/2 hour only to be told I'll order the van NOW!! WHAT? Not to mention multiple USA Transfers vans went by while we were waiting?? WTF! But it gets better, on Friday 2/2/24 our group scheduled our return van to pick up at Noon at the Iberostar Tucan, 7 people. At 12:15 and NO VAN, we called only to be told our driver had an incident & a new driver would be there in 10 minutes. At 1230 we called since no driver had shown up, now the best part WE ARE TOLD "NO DRIVER IS COMING RENT A TAXI"!!! Even better a USA Transfers shuttle showed up at noon to pick up 4 other guest not in our group and REFUSED to take 3 people from our group who had early flights!! They were paid in advance for the group rides yet they seem to careless about our group, why IDK. We showed up, walked outside and immediately found our representative. Despite the printout saying "we are ALWAYS there" they were not there immediately. The lady told us the car would be 5 min or less. We had enough time to walk to the bar, get one round, and as it was delivered to us, another round for a couple more people. Not the end of the world , but the point is don't be stressed if they are not there. Just make sure when you check with the person greeting you, let them tell you info about your trip. Give them as little info as possible. Once the van arrived, it was branded with the company and the 7 person van had plenty of room for all out luggage. We booked a private SUV to playa del carmen, it was well worth the money. Sima our driver was excellent, told us about the tours that the company offers, and got us to our resort with zero issues. I booked round-trip transportation through USA Transfers, including airport pickup, ferry, and transfer to our hotel and back. We were dropped off on the street--not at the ferry terminal. We had to walk a long distance over cobblestone and uneven ground with multiple children and suitcases. We received no directions, map, and last minute was told we need to buy ferry tickets and were left to figure it out on our own. We got from Cancun to Cozumel and contacted strangers when we didn't get picked up to be taken to our hotel and we were told we had to find our own way. We paid for another taxi to our hotel. On our return we had to find our own way (paid for a taxi) back to the ferry that we had to pay for even though we paid for and understood this was covered by USA transfers. I contacted USA Transfers and was told, incorrectly, that my booking did not include hotel drop-off or pickup, despite the confirmation showing it did. the customer service rep was incredibly rude and denied everything that was clearly stated in my booking confirmation. This was one of the most stressful travel experiences I've had. The service is misleading, not transparent. I do not recommend USA Transfers if you are looking for complete service maybe for something close to the airport but I will never book with them again. read more

My husband and I booked a private shuttle from the Cancun Airport to Playa del Carmen (and back). We were running late to the shuttle, so I gave them a call and they were very receptive. The driver learned we were trying to get to the Playa del Carmen ferry and recommended a better drop-off spot (which is exactly where they'd pick us up for our return shuttle too). The driver was friendly, attentive, and drove safely the entire time. On the day of our return trip, I kindly requested the shuttle picked us up an hour earlier than planned. Great shuttle option to/from Cancun airport. Round trip for 6 people was $75, which was great value IMO. Finding the driver at the start was a little difficult, but not too bad. They do give you clear instructions about where the drivers will be and what they will be wearing. The only issue is that there are a bunch of people standing in that area in a big group, so I did have some trouble tracking him down. Fortunately someone did help me out. After that it was smooth sailing... we were in our hotel in no time. For the return journey, the shuttle driver arrived about 10min early, which was appreciated.
