Southlake Envision Imaging clinic has been MOST accommodating, professional and time efficient every single time! I had at least 15 or more visits to help diagnose my serious conditions. Every time I have entered this location using my walker, I was & am still suffering from EXCRUCIATING pain & discomfort. My combined medical issues create this pain for at least 22 hrs of each and every of my days. Waiting, sitting, walking is extremely difficult for me, constantly. Southlake Envisions proficiency makes my visits much easier each and every time. The staff is attentive to helping me with the door when exiting and even assisting me to the back for each procedure every time. The simple & easy task of making my appointment, to the time waiting from check-in, to taking me back for each procedure, was ALWAYS made easy. They were not making special provisions for me alone, I noticed every patient from check in, to taking us back for the actual procedure, was little time. There were hardly any people waiting in the waiting room which makes me feel their scheduling system is on point. All the staff, from the office workers to the techs are kind, professional and so helpful when I needed assistance. Again not just for me, I noticed this overall for each patient! I went to Solis Mammography to get my mammograph after a friend died of breast cancer…read more I did it for 3 years and every time it said that I had dense tissue and recommended an ultrasound. When I call the following year to schedule an ultrasound, they said that I needed a referral. Then I got a referral and they still said that I had to do the mammograph first and then the ultrasound or they won't schedule it. Mammographs give cancer, the longer and more times your do it the higher the chances of you getting cancer because of the exposure to to the low radiation over and over again, especially as we age. I don't recommend anybody to do mammographs and they should not PUSH it on women. Ultrasounds are safer and they don't expose us to any radiation since they work with sound waves. I am looking for another place that will schedule the ultrasound without giving me trouble and when I find it I will added here, but since I just got off the phone with Solis Mammography and they were NOT helpful and very pushy with the forced mammograph, I had to write this review right away.

On the positive side, the care we received from the technicians, Kelly and Claire, was exceptional. From the moment they recognized my wife Kim's situation, they immediately adapted and welcomed my presence to support her. Their empathy, professionalism, and kindness stood out. They were thoughtful, careful, and generous in how they guided us through the process, making what can be a stressful experience feel manageable and dignified. Truly 5+ star care from both of them. They also went above and beyond by helping us complete a bone density test during the same visit, saving us an additional trip later in the month. The reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5 comes down to the broader process. Despite having patient notes indicating the need for caregiver accommodation, the standard intake procedures didn't initially reflect that awareness. There was a gap between the documented needs and the execution of the process. I'm grateful that Kelly and Claire stepped in and made it right in the moment, but I hope the organization can better align its processes with patient notes moving forward. If that happens consistently, this would easily be a 5-star experience across the board. This rating doesn't reflect any billing related experiences at this point.

Unfortunately, this year I got an unexpected bill from medical city after the fact, for "outpatient services." This was new this year and it was not disclosed to me that there would be this new hospital charge unless it was in the fine print that is so extensive and literally no one has the time to read completely. Now I'm on the hook for a ridiculous charge that I was not aware of. Very disappointing. I will never be back. Our healthcare system in this country is beyond broken. Where else in the world do you get tricked into buying something you were not aware of, and then forced to shoulder the cost with no recourse. This is absolute insanity. We need to stop allowing our politicians to be bought by special interests and make them work for us instead. That is the only way things like this will ever change.
