Front desk lady (very nice) was processing my registration and said there is an issue, she proceeded to go to the back and the Tech came over to discuss. I was told I was not released yet for annual's even though they were the ones calling me to make the appt. Of course I'm upset, because I received non-stop calls to make the appt, I even got a call the day before to reconfirm my appt just to drive all the way there to be told they can't see me because the Ultrasound tech needs to be there. I told the very rude Tech that I don't understand why they kept calling me to make the appt, which she decided to reply with "you knew you had to be back here in March and you didn't, do you have a name of the person who was calling you?" Which I don't but I can show all the calls received from Solis. Then she decided it was a good idea to start discussing out loud my medical records & last year diagnosis, which are confidential and a clear violation of HIPPA laws in the lobby and in front of another patient. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and distraught. How you dare to discuss medical confidential information in front of others??? Who gives this Tech the right to do so? Not even once she acknowledge it was their mistake but she decided to release medical information in front of others?? I stand up and said I was leaving and that I need copy of my medical records so I can go somewhere else!! What a freaking joke! You guys are playing with people's life and think it is okay to share out in public their medical records?

How is this clinic still open?…read more In hindsight, the fact that I rarely saw cars in the parking lot should have been my first red flag. Unfortunately, what happened after I became a patient was far more disturbing. During one of my visits, the mammogram technologist complained to me that she was uncomfortable with Dr. Khan expecting staff to try to upsell patients on cosmetic procedures. That was strange and unprofessional enough. What followed was much worse. On my very first visit, Dr. Khan stopped me in the hallway and essentially pressured me to promise that I would go online and give her a five-star review. She then complained to me that her field was dominated by men and that she did not receive the respect she deserved. I was a patient seeking medical care. I was not there to boost a physician's online ratings or listen to her professional grievances. Then came my biopsy. I was terrified. During the procedure, rather than bringing in a staff member to assist her, Dr. Khan asked the friend who had accompanied me for emotional support to HOLD MY BREAST. After taking the biopsy, she pointed to the tissue in the specimen cup and told me that was what cancer looked like. I DID NOT HAVE A DEFINITIVE CANCER DIAGNOSIS YET. I left in tears. I later returned for a breast MRI. My daughter, who was only a junior in high school at the time, came with me for moral support. For the MRI, I was instructed to climb onto the table wearing only my underwear and position myself on my stomach. The room was dark, I couldn't see what I was doing, and I accidentally knocked a flimsy plastic piece off the machine. Dr. Khan appeared visibly annoyed. Instead of helping me, covering me, or showing compassion toward a frightened patient going through a cancer workup, she focused on trying to reattach the piece to the machine. So there I sat--nearly naked, freezing, humiliated and terrified--without being offered a gown, robe or even a sheet for privacy. After the MRI, while my contrast IV was being removed, my daughter was with me. Dr. Khan then casually mentioned that I had breast cancer in front of her. That was how my teenage daughter learned her mother had breast cancer. I had made it explicitly clear that my diagnosis was to be discussed only with me or my husband--not in front of my daughter. There was nothing compassionate or appropriate about the way that information was disclosed. It is a moment neither my daughter nor I will ever forget. As if the day weren't already upsetting enough, my daughter and I also heard Dr. Khan engaged in a loud shouting match with a man in a back office. This was happening in a medical clinic where patients were dealing with potentially life-changing diagnoses. I also witnessed Dr. Khan chastising and speaking to members of her staff in a manner I found verbally abusive and completely inappropriate. Eventually, I obtained my records and imaging and took them to a board-certified physician at UT Southwestern for further care. I was then told that the imaging I brought with me was unreadable. And this brings me back to the reviews. When I see glowing five-star reviews for this clinic, I remember that on my FIRST VISIT, before any of these events had even occurred, this physician personally pressured me to promise that I would leave her a five-star review. People can draw their own conclusions from that. If you are reading these reviews because you are considering becoming a patient here, please read the negative reviews carefully--particularly when you see patients describing similar experiences. A woman going through a breast-cancer workup is frightened and vulnerable. She deserves competent medical care, dignity, privacy, professionalism and compassion. My experience here provided me with none of those things. I would never recommend this clinic to another woman. Zero stars would be too generous.

Solis failed to send the results to me. I called and requested the results, and was told they would send them that day. Three-plus weeks later, I had not received the results. I called again. Had to go through Solis' call center. Takes at least 20 minutes for them to connect me to Denton. Another 15 minutes for Denton to answer. Denton now claims I have to come in to sign paperwork (again) or print out a form from the Solis' website and send it to Solis before Solis will release my results to me. (Other labs have always sent me a copy via mail or email of my test results.) And the staff member I talked with thought it was humorous--actually laughed--that I was annoyed Solis had not sent my results. I won't use Solis again.

This was the best medical experience I've had in years! This was my first mammogram and I had no…read moreidea what to expect, but my experience with the office was outstanding. Everyone I dealt with was very kind, helpful and respectful. I couldn't have asked for a better staff to put my concerns at ease, especially Rebecca! The initial appointment process is not with the people in the office. I received an automated call and text a few days after the referral. The message directed for a call back or to schedule an appointment online. When going to the website, you have to choose your location and choose from 15 min increments for appointments.  I opted to call back, but it does route you to someone who makes appointments for all the locations. I do want to say the woman who scheduled me was very polite and patient, answered all my questions and made sure to tell me things I wouldn't know since it was my first time, such as not wearing any deodorant, perfume or lotion to the appointment.  The Rayzor Ranch location was booked until after the New Year, but she suggested this location because they had openings, including Saturdays! That was so convenient with my work schedule, but I think some of her info was outdated as she referred to this location as Denton Regional (correct address, but it's the Professional Building next to Medical City, Suite 211) and told me to be at least 15 minutes early to my 7:45am appointment. While they are open 7am-4:30pm on weekdays, they didn't even open until a few minutes before 7:45am on Saturday. These discrepancies didn't bother me, but I could see someone being upset/anxious because of it. The website doesn't have these discrepancies.  What I absolutely love is their system automatically reminds you of the appointment via text and email multiple times. My appointment was on a Saturday and I received those reminders the Monday and Friday of both that week and the week before. The reminders also give you the option to reschedule, so I was actually very comfortable making the next appointment during registration, because I knew I wouldn't have to keep track of the dates insurance would cover and rescheduling is so easy. While in the registration process, I heard several interesting things. One was they had some sort of translator that they were using on a phone call- fancy technology. Another, is that someone was paying out of pocket without insurance and it was $72, not bad compared to other medical procedures. Lyssa helped me with the fairly short registration process. There were only 2 slight delays and both had to do with my PCP not forwarding all my information with the referral. They need to scan a physical insurance card and if you are like me, with only a digital one, they will need to text you a link to upload it. The text didn't work after 3 times, but an email with the link worked just fine. The other part was the family medical history, I have a detailed sheet of my family medical history, but I didn't bring it with me because I thought it was sent from my PCP and this made me anxious that I wasn't prepared to go off my memory with only 1 cup of coffee as support. However, she assured me it was ok if I was unsure of ages etc and to just fill out what I could for breast and ovarian cancer. After I entered the 5th family member, she empathetically told me it was enough and that I clearly had a strong family history and should definitely keep up with the annual appointments. This was the opposite of any medical experience I've had in the last 2 years as I have been blown off by PCP's and insurance companies in an attempt to get testing suggested by my father's oncologist. Rebecca was also emphatic about me keeping up with my appointments because I have such a strong family history. I swear, these women made me feel so validated on this topic without any prompting- what a breath of fresh air! They walked me back to a very clean waiting room with multiple changing rooms and lockers to undress from the waist up and put on what is essentially a pancho in scrub form. You put your items in lockers with keys that have celebrity names (I got Lucille Ball) and take the key on a bracelet and wait in a chair. This process was impressively efficient and fast, I sat less than 90 seconds before Rebecca called me and walked me down the hallway to where the scans are done. She had a great beside manner and did a great job of explaining the entire process to me and putting me at ease. She was thorough and did one of the 4 scans again to ensure it was clear, asking me if I was okay and encouraging me throughout. The entire process was less than 10 minutes and completely painless and I felt comfortable and respected the entire time. She was a complete blessing.  After that, I was done and out as the registration process takes care of all scheduling/payment in advance. I received the results via email early Tuesday. I can't believe it was so easy!

Since the start of the pandemic 4 years ago, I have suffered (and its ongoing) multiple serious…read moremedical issues that required multiple MRI's, multiple X-rays and multiple scans. Southlake Envision Imaging clinic has been MOST accommodating, professional and time efficient every single time! I had at least 15 or more visits to help diagnose my serious conditions. Every time I have entered this location using my walker, I was & am still suffering from EXCRUCIATING pain & discomfort. My combined medical issues create this pain for at least 22 hrs of each and every of my days. Waiting, sitting, walking is extremely difficult for me, constantly. Southlake Envisions proficiency makes my visits much easier each and every time. The staff is attentive to helping me with the door when exiting and even assisting me to the back for each procedure every time. The simple & easy task of making my appointment, to the time waiting from check-in, to taking me back for each procedure, was ALWAYS made easy. They were not making special provisions for me alone, I noticed every patient from check in, to taking us back for the actual procedure, was little time. There were hardly any people waiting in the waiting room which makes me feel their scheduling system is on point. All the staff, from the office workers to the techs are kind, professional and so helpful when I needed assistance. Again not just for me, I noticed this overall for each patient!
