Up front, I will say that the dental hygienist, Lori does a great job. I would say that the two dentists are also good and caring. So why the terrible rating? First, expect to wait forever for your visit. They are never on time. I have had to wait upwards of an hour. The best option is to get in there for the first appointment and hope they show up on time. Second, you have to pay attention to the billing. They make mistakes all the time. I have had to call in and get corrections on several occasions. Third and final, they cancel appointments all the time. I have no clue what is going on with the office and the dentist but the constant rescheduling is terrible. I am currently is search of another dentist office as I can no longer deal with the mess. Which is sad, because as I said the doctors and hygienist are good people. But the office is clearly not well run.

Recently, I had a couple of visits and did some testing to address some health changes. After an initial visit ($400), testing ($300) and a one-hour follow-up ($300) one month later, I tried new medication and upon having a simple question about reformulating, I never heard back from my doctor (despite repeated emails and calls). She literally just never got back to me. The practice puts pressure to schedule a full, one-hour follow up (for $300) just to have simple questions answered about medicine they've prescribed - even though I had already paid for a follow-up just to receive the results of lab testing. I am not sure what is going on with this practice lately, but as a patient who has seen this doctor for years, feeling like you can't have some simple follow-up as a course of care is concerning - and feels unethical. The emphasis here is now on maximizing revenue and not patient care. I'll be looking for a new practice.

The appointment process was easy, check-in straightforward, and I was called in around my appointment time. We went straight to x-rays and then I waited only a couple of minutes for Dr. Berdia. It was all simple, timely, and straightforward. I would use them again if I needed further orthopedic evaluation and care.

I was very clear about being pregnant the whole time, and the doctor assured me that the anti-inflammatory med he prescribed would be safe for me. Thankfully, I took note of the huge RED cap on the bottle that said "not for pregnant women" and waited to talk to my ob/midwife providers. They were SHOCKED he prescribed it, because it has a medicine that is used to induce labor or cause a miscarriage and would have likely be catastrophic for me. I alerted the office to this and the doctor called me and said he wouldn't prescribe it anymore, but that he had been to pregnant women for years. He is lucky they haven't been sued and I am worried about any women who have faced trauma because of this choice. I will not be returning for my followup.

He's into the holistic medicine thing which is nice.. too expensive for my budget.. but it's good to see a doctor who realizes the importance of good health from more than just a drug standpoint. After the study that came out last year explaining the benefits of Vitamin D he will most likely make you take some of that (since 99% of people are deficient). I don't know what the health effects (including negative) are but I've been trying to take it when I remember and get more sun. The parking garage is expensive. They really need to validate parking here.

Dr. Musher engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices in violation of the Maryland Consumer…read moreProtection Act and unauthorized release of medical information in violation of HIPAA law. On 6/7/19 I paid $185.00 for an office visit because, although Dr. Musher is a network provider with United Healthcare, he wanted to take enough payment in case I had not met my deductible. On 8/17/19 my wife (under whose name his office staff had mistakenly filed the insurance claim) called and spoke with the office staff about an EOB showing that I was responsible for only $51.23 and that Dr. Musher owed me a refund of $133.77. UnitedHealthcare had informed me that Dr. Musher was paid electronically on 6/26/19 and was in breach of his network-provider contract by failing to refund me within 30 days. The office staff promised a refund within the week. When a refund that did not arrive as promised, my wife called on 9/5/19 and spoke to Dr. Musher himself. Dr. Musher solicited my wife's agreement that I subscribe to his concierge service. Pressuring her, he told her I had health issues for which he had advised follow-up care. His disclosing my private medical information without my authorization violated HIPAA law. Moreover, this high-pressure marketing of a concierge service in an attempt to credit the $133.77 to concierge subscription fees instead of issuing me a refund check was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unfair and deceptive in violation of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act. I received my refund, but only after two telephone requests, one-and-a-half months from the time of the first request, and two-and-a-half months from the time that my health insurance paid Dr. Musher. In sum, Dr. Musher engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices relating to billing and to inappropriate and unprofessional solicitation for his concierge service, as well as unauthorized disclosure of private medical information. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone.

December 2025: I had a very negative experience with the Neurology Center. They care more about…read moreprofits than patients. I will never go back there again. My story starts with an appointment with Dr Pamela Howard. First it takes months to get an appointment to see her. I saw her in July. She recommended a home sleep study. It takes months to get an appointment for a home sleep study. When the date came (in December), I did my home sleep study and returned the equipment to the Neurology Center. I was told that the results will be posted on the patient portal about a week after the study. About 10 days after the study, I received a bill. But I did not see any report, nothing summarizing the result of the sleep study. I waited a few days, until 2 weeks after the study, and I still saw nothing on my patient portal. I called to inquire. This is when my negative experience started. I was told I need to see someone before they will release the results. NO one told me this before. And Dr Howard's first available appointment is in March. I said this is unacceptable. I refuse to pay the bill until I receive a report summarizing the results. Then I was reminded - when I arrived at the office, they required me to give a credit card they kept on file. So the Neurology Center will bill my credit card whether I liked it or not. I did not have the option of not paying. This made me quite angry. How can they bill me when I have not yet received the result of the study! The person I spoke with said there is a physician's assistant who has a spot tomorrow and I could speak with her via telehealth. I said fine. Next day morning, I looked at the email from the Neurology Center. There was a link to a website with paperwork I had to fill out before my telehealth session. There were maybe 10 screens of info to fill out. On the very LAST screen it said I had to be physically located in DC or Maryland in order to do telehealth with this person. No one warned me about this. I live in Virginia. The person who suggested the appointment should have warned me. She should have noticed that my address is in Virginia. I called to double check - is this information correct. Do I have to be in DC or Maryland? I was put on hold for 15 minutes. So I hung up and called again. And I was told, "Yes you have to be in DC or Maryland." Fortunately I live close enough to DC and I found this out early enough I could actually go into the office. But this only added to my negative patient experience. When I saw the physician's assistant, Annise Claude, she told me the result of my sleep study is, there is nothing bad enough to warrant a CPAP machine. Now why couldn't they tell me that via a simple email or report via the patient portal. I had to go into the office, spend 3 hours of my time to go there and come back, to hear the news they could not really find anything bad. And of course this gives the Neurology Center another chance to bill because this visit is not included in the fee for the home sleep study. In summary, I believe this office is more focused on profits than patients. This is not a good place for patients.

I've been going to the various Neurology center offices for 8 months now trying to get a sleep…read moreapnea diagnosis and appropriate treatment. This business takes months to see you and book appointments, then they misinform you about the costs and do as little as possible during the appointments so they can get you in again and charge you. The business model is extremely predatory. Here's one example: I had a follow up appointment for a sleep study, video call... physician was over 15 minutes late after they cancelled the appointment and pushed it back another month. They told me nothing I couldn't already read on a print out from the study and then boom surprise charge for over 150$ for a 10 minute call, with an ask for follow up appointments in the future. Management was useless when trying to negotiate this, which wasn't the first case of surprise expenses from this business. Stay away, if you know what's good for you.

I went to Sameday health at our local branch in Silver Spring for my Covid testing for travel…read morepurpose and I am very highly impressed with their service. After having bad experiences with Cvs and Walgreens, I went to PatientFirst urgent care. PatientFirst in Silver Spring doesn't do Covid testing any more but the lady at the front desk recommended me to Sameday health and I can't be happier. From start to finish, the process at Sameday was so smooth and the staff was so courteous all along with a smile. Everyone working there seemed like happy people and eager to help you. Why didn't I find this place before? The testing (the one with less than 40 hrs) was free with my insurance card. I was in and out in less than 15 mins. There is on street parking.

This place is exactly what I wanted in a COVID testing location. It was easy to book an appointment…read moreand understand pricing/services online, the staff was friendly and efficient, there was no wait, and I was out in no time. It's also just a pleasant atmosphere in there. The PCR swab also was not painful and invasive, it was easy and quick. I later brought my toddler in and they had an easy and great experience. (We appreciated the free sticker after the swab!). Results were returned within the time promised. The app is easy to use and navigate. I will be back for future testing needs!
