Here is why: Hurricane Milton knocked our power offline for several days. When power was restored an electrical surge ran through my 2022 M1 Max MacStudio, blowing out all my USB and Thunderbolt ports. I took it to Autobahn Communications for diagnosis and repair. They told me "it could not be repaired and if it could, it would cost more than a new unit". They also claimed the unit "looks like it experienced water damaged and was corroded beyond repair." The alleged corrosion claim voided my homeowners content insurance claim. I wasn't convinced. I learned about DosLab Electronics (https://doslabelectronics.com) watching their YouTube channel. For those who do no know, YouTube features a good number of technicians repairing and upgrading computer devices of all kinds, right before your eyes. What I witnessed, in real-time, was impressive. After opening a ticket on their website, I received a message back confirming they should be able to repair and quoted a very reasonable price. I was invited to send the Mac Studio along with a "dead" MacBook Pro to them.(Autobahn said that one couldn't be repaired either) The communication at DosLab Electronics was professional and responsive. Despite the Holiday season, I was notified within a reasonable time both units had been successfully repaired and they sent them back. Their estimate for repair was more than reasonable, considering these devices were supposed to be dead or unrecoverable. Since receiving these two machines, I have been using both for about 2 weeks and I could not be more appreciative. They literally brought these two devices back from the dead. Autobahn charged an upfront "diagnostic fee" of $65 for each of these devices. The fee isn't unreasonable through does emphasis the value I received from DosLabs. The MacBook Pro had been "dead" for over a year and works wonderfully again! Thank you DosLabs!! After purchasing a battery earlier in the year (less than 6 months of use) I started getting the "low battery charge" on my dash. I stopped by to ask about my warranty, bringing along my original receipt and the first thing they said was it was my starter. Without running any diagnostics. Like Dr House and his quick claims, it wasn't my starter. But now that I see they often claim that to people, makes sense, I guess. After taking my car to the Volvo dealership and having them run multiple tests, they printed out several time stamped diagnostics of the battery and turns out, it was failing. So, why not take back my battery to where i purchased it with its warranty. Well, I was met with hostility, I was asked why "I trust Volvo over them, because they've been in the battery business for 40+ yrs.", maybe it's because a real diagnosis was given! Not just looking at it. It's okay you know, batteries fail, all of them. That seems to be a new concept to people who have been in the "battery business for 42 years". Then they took of picture of my plate and said, "I never want to see you or this car again and you no longer have a warranty on your battery", which they wrote all over my battery replacement. Hysterical, nice business acumen. We'll see how the BBB likes their acumen.

Had an alternator rebuilt through Indian River Battery and it lasted 20k miles before I spent the extra money for an OE. That was once. Today was twice. Had to pull another alternator from Indian River Battery with only 40k miles on it. Was I annoyed when I walked into the store? Yes. Was I apprehensive to return to the store after the previous incident? Yes, but I did as a matter of convenience. Nope, waste of time. The late founder's widow couldn't handle my curtness and, rather than attempt to alleviate the situation, met my curtness with equal curtness. Now that would be fair if she were my wife, but as representative of a business? Yeah, I don't think so. I didn't curse. I didn't yell. I simply expressed my displeasure through the tone of my voice in having to tear apart half an engine because of a lemon alternator for a second time. If I have to pay a bit more for an alternator that will last at least 100k, I guess I'm off to Rock Auto or MoparPartsGiant to see who can get me on the road quickest. It is abundantly clear Indian River Battery does not need my business any longer.

The owner said he could order it for me and have it the next day. I told him I couldn't wait that long. Since 1995 I have never had a problem filling insulin. His advise was to go to Walmart and get over the counter insulin and use that until the next day. Worst advise ever. I should have got that in writing. If I put that inulin in my pump, I would have been in the hospital. It doesn't work for type 1 Diabetics. Terrible unethical advise. I refilled my script at another pharmacy(perkins), naturally. When I went to pick up another medication at Osceola, Kazzi(not sure if he is the owner or pharmacist or both) told me that he will no longer fill my medication. He said I was "pharmacy shopping". Is that even a thing? Is it a law you cannot use two pharmacies? No, it is not. I asked another pharmacy. They laughed. I called Osceola pharmacy back to see where I went wrong. To get an explanation. I explained that I NEEDED my insulin that day. What did he want me to do? How could I do this differently? He spoke over me the whole time I was talking. Saying, I will not fill anymore medication for you. No explanation. If you go here, get everything in writing! Ask them if they will fire you as a client for filling scripts they don't have at another pharmacy. This is just a money hungry place. No care for anyones health or needs. rude rude rude.
