The staff was friendly and helpful, quickly opening glass cases when I wanted to see something. Their inventory is so large I found it difficult to see everything in one visit. Their prices are reasonable. I ended up buying some California pottery, a framed floral print, and an MCM trinket dish. I'm looking forward to returning and taking another look around the store. There is a parking lot in the back of the building. Note: Some vendors have modern items mixed in with their antiques. Tracy, the owner was very pleasant while I looked around her antique shop. I now live near the Monterey Peninsula, so I had to schedule a trip back to the Bay Area. I expected to be back up to pick up the dresser in mid June. However, I became ill- pneumonia- and was unable to make the trip. I let her know, but she never got back to me. I have left a total of 12 messages- no response. I even asked for my deposit back. No answer. My advice is to avoid this shop and Tracy the owner. She has failed to handle a simple transaction. Some people just shouldn't have a business that deals with the public.

My guess is that we have bought at least 80 separate things from the HCC since 2020. We have countless happy endings. Most recent was a maple dining table with 8 chairs for $349 + delivery. It replaced a smaller table and 6 chairs I bought from IKEA 40 years ago. HCC sold it in 2 days for $399, which paid me $200. So the new set cost me $149 + delivery! We are saddened by their decision to close the Campbell store. If they find a way to stay open - buy the building, find a rational landlord - we will happily return. If not, we wish the crew there the best.

STORE IS CLOSING JUNE 30…read more WOW! I had a scheduled pickup for 6/5 and thank goodness I called the store beforehand. During the call, I was informed that they are no longer accepting consignments because the store is closing. What is frustrating is that no one contacted me to let me know about this change. Had I gone ahead with the pickup and the item didn't sell by June 21, I would have been responsible for picking it up myself. Since the original pickup cost me $100, that's money I would have spent for nothing. This is important information that customers should be proactively notified about, especially when it could affect their decision to consign an item. A simple phone call, email, or text would have prevented a lot of confusion and inconvenience. Very disappointed with the lack of communication.

Was hired to auction off part of our companies equipment and instead went in and took multiple…read moretombstones off of equipment as well as circuit boards and compressors and threw them in a dumpster. Then took all of our finished and unfinished products with invoices and threw them in a dumpster. And on the same day went into an area which wasnt supposed to be touched (as i verified this with all 3 of his employees that there was personal stuff that belonged to myself that had nothing to do with the auction. I had two of my dirtbikes we were rebuilding there. One of which was my sons race bike. I told the guys multiple times that the bikes and bike parts were mine and yet all of my parts that were new in bags and all my specialty tools to fix the bike also with the parts all dissappeared. Unfortunately i wasnt there when they took the first dumpster (one big enough to park a f350 inside of but i did catch the second one as he was leaving and he told me the company who ordered the dumpsters was acting funny. Was adamit that they went and got it right then. And said when he got to the recycler he was told just to go drop the box and not to weigh it. Unfortunately for me they had already recycled the first dumpster by the time i got there. But i was able to catch the second one. After 3 days of digging i was able to find my kick starter and side cover but the rest was gone. So not only did our company loose over 500k in finished product i also lost over 1500 in parts and over 300 in specialty tools. It just made me sick to my stomach. And when i questioned ashman they said it was protocol to go in and throw away all your stock and inventory and take dirty scrap prices for it. 4k for nearly 700k doesnt sound like a fair deal to me. I took pictures of what got thrown away. Mind you the first dumpster which was 3/4 of the way full was already recycled. So these are images of the second dumpster. ​Sad is all I can Say
