Deceptive practices. Sell insurance for phones that are not covered. Please know what models that are or are not covered by assurion.

Two employees and it is super busy. 41 minute wait was insane! Would not recommend, to top it off employees are rude!

Horrible business. Told us about a week to fix the phone and then kept the phone for almost 5…read moreweeks. Told us they could fix it but never told us it would be a ridiculous amount of time. They NEVER communicated. I had to call for an update everytime. Finally after a month of this and them saying they need to order more parts and they don't know when it will be done i got frustrated and the boy told me "the phone is completely destroyed" well you should've said that from the first time the technician looked at it if he knew it would take more than a month to fix it. So he tells me that i could come pick up the phone and he would have it ready the next day. When we went to pick it up it wasn't even IN THEIR STORE! SO unreliable and not helpful whatsoever if the communication was better we wouldn't be as upset!! The customer service is what we are angry about !!

Had a severe battery swell in my Samsung S22 Ultra and SIM could not be read. I was traveling…read morethrough the area so I took it into Tech Made Easy. They had the needed battery in stock and did a great job of replacing it old one, figuring out the SIM read error and making the case fit back to gether perfectly. All this was done in a very timely manner (less than an hour with another repair ahead of mine) and the total charge was only the price of the battery. In addition to the service, the staff was really great in all regards. Very happy I ended up near here when the problem occurred.

I went in here about a year ago to buy a SATA to Molex power adapter. Immediately after walking in…read morethe door I was approached by the nearest salesman. I told him what I wanted and he immediately replied, "No, we don't have anything like that." Then I gave him the part number and told him the Radio Shack website indicated they had them in stock. "Oh," was his response. This wasn't the first time I've had this experience at this store. The time before it was a 12V cigarette lighter style connector. That time I didn't have a part number with me so I just smiled as the salesman told me "we don't have that" then went and found it myself. He seemed unimpressed when I took my purchase to the register. This store would be infinitely better if they would build a jail cell style cage around the register area and lock the salespeople in there for the duration of their shift. That way I could browse around to find what I need without them harassing me with their ignorance. And who knows, I might even find another item or two to buy if I wasn't trying to get away from them as quickly as possible.

Okay... so I sent my husband to fetch a battery for my antique cell phone. I don't generally use my…read morecell that much, and don't care to type with my thumbs. Cell phones, to me, are for incoming and outgoing calls period. The old phone still worked. He landed at Radio Shack, and I have to say the experience turned out to be quite funny. He comes home with the dead phone and says "They laughed when I suggested a battery! The girl asked how OLD the phone was and offered the choice of 4 available 'free' models". So we both go back to the store. I will not say everything was excellent, nor was everything I witnessed what I would call "professional", but, suffice to say, we chuckled our way through getting hooked up with a new phone. And it wasn't a horrid experience as I've had in the past. We were in the store plenty long enough to see exactly how they operate by phone. Another guy was busily trying to access information from... somewhere, so he insisted his customer was impatiently waiting for an answer. Problem... he didn't have a customer. Beyond that, we got a phone, had some laughs, and didn't feel too bad about the experience. It will not be my first choice for shopping electronics - never has been. But it's nice to know you CAN order antique phone batteries at this location, if you really want to. :)
