Stopped in to find a cover for my vehicle for the winter. The staff was amazing. As soon as I walked in he spoke to me. Asked me what help I needed he walked with me and showed me the selection that they had in stock. He reviewed the warranties. He was very pleasant and engaging and I thanked him for taking the time to support his customer. The other thing I loved was it. They had a large selection to choose from and I was able to purchase the item. I'm so happy I didn't have to order it and wait for it to come in. I also like the fact that they had multiple staff working and checking out, moving very fast . It was very apparent that they care about their customers, their store and they know what they have in stock. I messed up because I should have gotten the gentleman's name so that I could have filled out a formal compliment form. So I will definitely have to stop in again and get his name. The funny part was on the way out the door. Another sales clerk stopped and said is there something I can help you with? Is there something you need?. Came in here after going to the Ford dealership and they didn't have the part we needed. We went to O'Reilly and all three technicians not only helped find the right part, they grabbed the tools I needed for me and talked me through the repair in a socially distant way. First part didn't work, so they went and tried another until we had the right part and it was installed. Saved a 6 days road trip. Great service. read more

These guy's have been very helpful in troubleshooting, running proper diagnostic's on every vehicle that I have ever taken to them, always acquiring me the correct parts to replace for each model I bring in and have good attitudes. Even better, if they don't have the part in, they'll special order it or send you to another auto repair place to find that part that I need. I really like O'reilly auto parts stores. Their price matching and rewards program have kept me as a loyal customer for years. The employees at the location I normally go to have always gone above and beyond with everything I've ever asked of them. This new Coos Bay store is the opposite. In fact, they insist on putting customers own safety at risk. Things went Great till the very end of the transaction. On Wed, May 11th I went in to buy a 5qt jug of oil. They price matched Walmart for the oil and I was able to tack-on a coupon I received as a birthday gift via email from their rewards program. So far, A+ service. I paid using my MasterCard Credit Card (Which has my signature on the back) and signed the printed receipt.... Then the employee asked to see my ID/Driver's License. When I asked why - he said to prevent fraud; to prove it was my credit card. Keep in mind, the transaction is already Complete. I now Own the product and am entitled to a proof of purchase receipt. I politely said "No, I can't do that. It's a violation of Mastercard's Terms of Service and you requiring me to do so is a *Merchant Violation. The information on my Driver's License is none of your business.". He insisted that I must show my ID since it's store policy for all credit card transactions. He turned his monitor and pointed at a green sticker on the edge of his monitor as "proof" it's store policy. He completely refused to give me My receipt till I complied. So in the end I left the store with my oil, but was forbidden from being allowed to keep My Own Receipt! Never, Ever will I come to this location again. And I'll be sure to let my Friends & Family know to avoid it. * Excluding situations where it's required by law to check ID such as the sale of Alcohol; Requiring credit card users to show identification to complete a transaction is against the Terms of Service merchants agree to comply with when accepting Visa and MasterCard. It constitutes a "Merchant Violation" and carries penalties.
