Two family members were already using US Cellular as there cellular service. At the time US Cell was offering a great family package so I took the leap of faith and joined the US Cellular family. I did have concerns at first. My new job takes me from Maine to DC. I had fears that service would not be up to snuff. I have to say I have no service issues up and down the Northeast corridor. I chose the 300 Gallery Blvd. Scarborough Maine store to set up my account. I asked for an easy to remember number with as many repeating numerals as possible. The REP put in some extra time and got me a great number. I have had several other situations that I thought would be an issue, I walked in the shop and what I thought was going to be a problem, only turned out to be a minor inconvenience. The customer service I have received at this store has been great. They have fixed my issues quickly and fairly. I am impressed with this company and certainly can recommend to anyone looking into cellular service. Call outs to Tyler and Nathan for being so helpful.

The last mobile number was ported to T-Mobile which should have closed my account. I unknowingly still had a line on my account that I asked to be removed in person. I visited my local office and was told we still had a number and I had auto paid it for 2 1/2 months. I called the number in front of the xfinity rep and I got the message the number was not in service. 3 hours on the phone over the last week and I still can't get them to see that the number hasn't made a call since the account was created but I'm still paying for it. The Customer Service department is broken and communications within the department are non-existent.

Wells later they came out and installed the internet but instead of the 1gb internet speed they gave me the 100mb speed which is a tenth of what I signed a contract for. When we called they proceeded to tell us that that was the only service they had in that area and that we should've been told. When we started we would like to cancel because they broke their end of the deal they tried to force us to drive 45 minutes to bring the equipment back and told us they were going to keep the money that we game them for installation and activation. This is the biggest bait and switch I have ever dealt with and this company is a fraud. We told them over and over we only want the 1gb, nothing lower. They're next lowest option was 100mb which was almost $50 more than their competitor that they probably don't even know exists here yet, which is why they are so over charging and taking advantage of their customers. The customer service is childish and the woman and manner who took care of the call don't deserve the in they clearly don't want to be there. I am not the only person who has dealt with this, if anyone sees this bbb report before buying LCC or Tidewater Telcom(because they go by two different names) please, don't just take my word, Google research their reviews and they speak for themselves. I will also be leaving this as a review on every page and will be contacting social media for the other people going affected by this scam of a company.
