They know their stuff, but they apparently have almost no employees. On a Thursday there was one employee at 4 PM, and he was helping a senior woman choose a new phone. That could take a while. I left. There are ATT stores in nearby towns that do much better. Bring a book. Or the Bible. For reading material to while away the hours while you wait. read more

Came in needing a new phone, my 8 year old LG just didn't have service in Maine and could barely do anything even when I did find a spot of service. Nick, the store manager, was phenomenal! Really knew his stuff and helped me get as many discounts as possible. Wasn't trying to sell the super expensive plans etc. just really good advice. Walked me through the very long process of getting information from MetroPCS to switch over and stayed twenty minutes past close to finish helping me set up my new phone. Really great guy who is super friendly and helpful! Great with older visitors too just needing a little phone help. Nick is moving out of state in a few days but is confident all his trainees will do a great job as replacements! Good luck with the move Nick and thanks for all your help! read more

Store location -- Topsham Fair Mall, Maine I went in to a place that was NOT crowded. Wandered around awhile, and my presence wasn't acknowledged by either of the salespeople. I noticed a computer terminal in the middle of the sales floor, no signage saying it was off limits. I figured it was probably for customers to use to get product info, like LOTS of places have for when there salespeople are so busy that they must completely ignore customers who are not being helped. "HEY!! What are you doing with MY COMPUTER?" -- the first words I'd heard in the store. I explained exactly what I was attempting to do, and why. I was told "YOU CAN"T USE IT, THERE'S CUSTOMER INFORMATION IN THERE! What I did not hear was any indication as to when anyone there MIGHT be available to assist me. I waited. Still no acknowledgement. I left. I then spent $400 bucks at Walmart, that also gave me GREAT tech assistance in setting up, migrating number, etc. This was the SECOND bad experience (in a row) that I've had at an AT&T store. The first led to my migration (for better and correct service and at lower price) to Verizon. Verizon has always paid attention to customers -- but today Walmart was handier. Unless AT&T changes, and PROVES it, I can see no reason to return for any reason, including boredom or waiting out side for someone else. Addendum: I was going to post this review on the AT&T site -- until I read (and then gave up reading) their onerous, one-sided, BAD-SELLER oriented terms of service. More evidence -- don't go there. read more

By far my best experience at an AT&T retail store. The reps here were so genuinely nice and helpful. I am somewhat traumatized by horrible customer service experiences with ATT in the past, so this was such a pleasant surprise. Eric C. assisted me in upgrading from an iPhone 5 to a 6s. He helped he choose the best plan, and transferred all my data/photos/music, etc from my old phone to my new phone. One of his coworkers put a screen protector on my phone that I didn't even buy from the store. He definitely didn't have to do that, but he did anyway-so nice! Everyone working in the store was so relaxed, welcoming, and helpful, even when they got pretty busy. For the first time in my life, I left an AT&T store with a smile on my face. I will happily return in the future for any of my wireless needs. read more
