As my wife helped our daughter I went off to find new shoes for me, while I browsing an employee by the name of Issac who already asked if we needed help was walking by and took notice and with out asking and with great instinct showed me another shoe that resulted in being exactly what I was needing. He was spot on to notice my flat feet and went out of his way to ensure that the show I purchased not only looked good but would be the correct fit and support for me. During our encounter he never tried to up sell me or pressure me into a more expensive pair in fact he did the opposite. If the owner of this location reads this or someone in the hierarchy this is quality service do what you must to keep this man around he is was awesome.

No acknowledgement, no smile, heaven for bid they have to be interrupted during their shelf stocking to help you find something. Dont they know why they're there? Don't they know I have tons of choices where I spend my money? I think we need to start making the stores earn our business and I also think when they wrong us we should share the experience, that way we can pull together and be heard. Each one of these stores exisit because of us and they should treat us accordingly. Yesterday, I visited the HOBBY LOBBY in Morehead City, NC, i had a decent size purchase, including a couple of storage cases that were by the brand Options. The reason I chose this brand of cases was because they were on an end cap with signage that specifically said the Option brand was 50% off (something HOBBY LOBBY likes to do) which made the $60 case affordable. When I got to the register the cases didn't ring up as being 50% off, the cashier said the Options brand items were not on sale. I explained that the signage specifically said 'Options' which is why I chose them. He was very pleasant about the situation, he called and asked someone to go and check the signage on the end cap and call him back; well of course he was told there was no such sign, according to the floor associate I was mistaken. Knowing what I had read, I offered to walk back and meet her there and show it to her, the cashier let her know I was on my way. When I got to the end cap the associate was no longer there and the sign had been removed. I was dumbfounded and at that point unwilling to let it go. A couple aisles over I found a floor associate and explained how 5 minutes earlier there had been a sign and asked if she knew about what had happened to it. She said no she didn't, she hadn't removed it, however even if there had been a sign there it was clearly a mistake and so it didn't matter what it "might" have stated. I told her that of course it mattered and that if the sign represented the items as being 50% off they should have to sell them to me at 50% off. I probably should have just let it go but by this point it became a matter of principle, I knew the sign had been there, mistake or not and the fact that someone would just remove it and pretend it didn't exist was infuriating, but what happened next was inexcusable! This young girl snickered at me and told me that, that's not how it works at HOBBY LOBBY, you see they have an ad on display in the front of the store so I can check it to see what's on sale. . . Really?!?!?!?!? I told her I would just take my business elsewhere and she snickered again as I walked away. I really wish I'd have gotten this young girl's name, not to get her fired, although I wouldn't want her representing my company, but so someone could explain to her that it's people like me, spending my money at that store, that make her paycheck possible. Not only did I leave that store without purchasing somewhere close to $100 worth of merchandise that I went across the street to Michael's and purchased, but I will never go back to that HOBBY LOBBY again. I was pleased with my shopping experience at Michael's and their customer service was spot on!

Because this is my first big purchase I want to make sure that I did all of my research. I was bouncing from store to store between a few of Sears competitors as well. During every time the I shopped, I never felt pressured at Sears. I also was helped very thoroughly every time I visited the store. I returned it here, the manager told the woman working the register that they didn't accept returns because they were an outlet store and I had to return it to Jacksonville. The employees at Jacksonville said both managers that work at this store are worthless and that they flat out lied to me. I happen to be in New Bern and decided to run by the Batteries Plus there and get the battery replaced. I also had another new watch that I needed to get a lifetime battery for as well so I had the tech in New Bern replace both batteries. After the weekend the water got into the one watch behind the Crystal so I took it into the Morehead city office. And Chris graciously took the watch apart kept it overnight, dried it out and then resealed the watch properly. She said that the watch was only hand tightened and barely attached. Also, the battery for the lifetime marking was not marked, even though they have it on the records, it still wasn't marked so if I had to have a battery replaced out of this area, they wouldn't have a record of it. So I suggested I bring the other watch in the newer watch and have her check it, and of course, the back was not tightened, and the battery also was not marked and she sealed the watch and mark the battery for me. Can't say enough about how great Chris has been to help me with this situation to avoid a moisture invasion into a brand new watch thank you, Cris.

I got a dozen mailers from different law firms a few days after my ticket and called every single one of them. All of them said the exact same thing and all promised the exact same resolution. One attorney recommended talking with Mr. Crowe and personally vouched for him, saying he was the "absolute best attorney in the area and had been practicing law in the community longer than most". I called Mr. Crowe and I noticed he asked a different set of questions and the conversation went very differently than the conversations I had with all the other lawyers. The other lawyers seemed more interested in getting hired whereas Mr. Crowe seemed more interested in seeing how he could help me. During the conversation he was asking me questions to find angles in my matter that other attorneys didn't even bother looking for and I hadn't even thought of. But, by the end of the conversation, it was just a simple speeding ticket and in the end Mr. Crowe got me the outcome he said he would probably get.
